GE500Y308 CALCULATOR UNIT
Description
Electronic unit for calculating the thermal energy in heating and cooling
systems and volumes of hot and cold sanitary water measured.
The calculator unit is equipped with separate sections, so simultaneous
calculations of the following can take place:
• thermal energy in a heating circuit;
• thermal energy in a cooling circuit;
• volume of sanitary cold water measured;
• volume of sanitary hot water measured;
The GE500Y308 unit is equipped with an “M-Bus” row interface and a “Bus-
locale” row interact which allow the user to check consumption whilst
remaining inside the apartment, using the GE500Y309.
Technical data

additional digits
• Energy measuring unit on LCD: MWh (standard), configurable in kWh, MJ and GJ
• Dynamic behavior: temperature measurements are taken at each pulse of the
volume gauge with a resolution of 30 seconds, provided that the time between
pulses is greater than or equal to 30 seconds. If the time between pulses is
less than 30 seconds, measurements are carried out every 30 seconds. In the
absence of pulses, the temperature measurement is updated every 60 minutes.
In temperature display menu, the measurement is updated every 10 seconds.

Installation
Open the calculator unit by using the two side hooks to remove the upper
part with the electronic section.
Replace the electronic unit carefully in its packaging.
Remove the bracket from the terminal board base and secure it to the wall;
fix the terminal board base onto the bracket and secure it with the "anti-
tamper" kit (screw and O-Ring) provided. The seals provided must be affixed
to the calculator unit after installation and initial start-up.
NB:
For electrical connections please refer to product instructions.
