Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Cucina by Giani 350W Food Processor. Before use,
please read this manual. It gives important instructions about safety, use and mainte-
nance of your appliance. Please keep for future reference.

Important Information
Assembling:
1. Lock the lid onto the bowl.
2. Lock the bowl on to the motor unit.
The lid must be locked onto the bowl before locking
the bowl to the motor unit.
Please DO NOT remove the lid before unlocking the
bowl from the motor unit during operation!
After Use:
1. Unlock the bowl from the motor unit.
2. Unlock the lid from the bowl.

How To Use
This appliance is designed to work on standard voltage only. Please check that
the voltage supply corresponds to that shown on the Rating Plate of the mixer.

Chopping Function:
1. Put the plastic bowl on the power unit, turn the bowl to ensure it locks. As shown
in Diagram 1.
2. Put the blade support on the axis in the middle of the bowl, and push down to
secure it, you will hear a click when it is securely in place. Then fix the chopping
blade to the blade support, as shown in Diagram 2.
Warning: The blade in very sharp. Hold using the plastic part ONLY.
3. Put the food (eg. Meat) into the bowl, as shown in Diagram 3. Big pieces of food
need to be cut into small pieces before placing into the mixer.
4. Put the cover on the bowl, and turn it until you hear it click/lock into place. As
shown in Diagram 4.
5. Turn the handle in a clock-wise direction, as shown in Diagram 5, to lock.
6. Fix the plug to the electric socket, turn on the switch to choose the level. (1-2 The
power increases by a degree. If the food is hard, you can use the Pluse Button. The
pluse is a touch switch, use for off and on operation.
7. When chopping is finished, turn the switch to “0”. After the blade stops, turn the
handle to unlock and open the bowl cover
Whisking Function:
The Whisking Function has almost the same operating steps as the Chopping Func-
tion.; Change the Chopping Blade to the Shredding Blade.This is used for mixing and
whisking food, eg, flour, eggs.

Slicing and Shredding Function:
1. Fix the Slicing/Shredding Knife to the Knife Support. As shown in Diagram 6.
The Slicing Knife cuts the food into slices and the Shredding Knife cuts the food
into shreds.
2. Put the bowl on the power unit first, then put the Knife Support on the axis in the
middle of the bowl. As shown in Diagram 7.
3. Put the cover on the bowl and turn if until you hear the click/locked in sound. Turn
the bowl in a clock-wise direction. Plug the unit into the electric power socket and
set the On/Off/Speed switch to your chosen level. Insert the food carefully down
the funnel of the cover and push the food down slowly. As shown in Diagram 8.
4. When the food is part in the cover funnel, push it down with the measuring cup.
As shown in Diagram 9.
5. When the operation is finished, turn the switch to “0”. After the blade stops
completely, take the food out.

4. DO NOT open the cover until the blade has stopped completely.
5. This appliance is intended for household use only.
6. Never immerse this appliance in water or other liquids to clean.
7. For any repairs, please contact a qualified electrician.
8. Don’t allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the suface it is placed on.
9. Do not put this appliance on or near a hot surface/appliance.
10. Do not fill the mixing bowl above the warning level indicators.
Cleaning
1. Always unplug before cleaning.
2. Take care when cleaning the cutting blades as these are extremely sharp and may
cause injury if extreme care is not taken.
3. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply before changing
any of the accessories or before handling any of the movable parts.
4. To clean, wipe the surface of the appliance with a damp cloth only, and then dry
thoroughly.
