Gingerway wireless alarm extension module is used to connect other companies' wired alarm sensor(
normally-open) to Z-Ginger network system. The battery standby time and reliability are observably
improved owe to the ultralow power consumption technology and two-way wireless communication
technology.
This product must be used with Gingerway SmartC series of gateways.

The alarm output of external sensor is required to be
dry contact, normally open type(normally disconnected,
only the alarm occurs is it connected).
Installation method of wireless alarm extension module:
After connecting the alarm extension with external
sensor, stick the alarm extension module on the desired
location with double faced adhesive tape or fasten them
with screws.
When the alarm extension module is mounted far
from the gateway, its internal antenna can be took out
to enhance its wireless communication intensity. The
detailed method as follows:
Remove the battery and take out the circuit board
carefully, draw the antenna out antenna outlet and
straighten it, then put the circuit board back on the
original position.

Technical Parameters
Please bind this product with SmartC gateway before use:
Long press the bind button for 5 seconds, the indicator will continuously sticker and send out binding
request. Add a new smart device binding on APP "ZGinger Mini", you can refer to the instruction
manual of SmartC gateway for the detailed procedure .
Attention: The external sensor can be checked as "24-Hour Armed" while binding with SmartC
gateway, this sensor can't be disarmed after "24-Hour Armed" checked. If your external sensors are
gas sensor, smoke sensor or other sensors which should be alway in arm state, please check the "24-
Hour Armed".
Low battery notication: When the wireless alarm extension module in low battery, the low battery
signal will be sent to gateway. The siren of gateway wouldn't hoot while gateway receiving the signal,
only the notication will be sent to user.

period, if Gingerway products malfunction(not contain artificial damages) under normal
circumstances, they can be free repaired or exchanged at local dealer with the purchase invoice.
1. If due to quality failure during the warranty period, the maintenance is free in rst year, only
the component cost will be charged in the second year.
2. Disassembling Gingerway product components without the permission of our company or the
local client center, our company will no longer bear the free warranty responsibility .
