STEP 1:
•Make sure you have the details of your home Wi-Fi network (name and password).
•Your Wi-Fi router should operate on 2.4GHz frequency.
•Position your phone close to the inverter (within 1-2 meters)
STEP 2:
•Turn OFF your Mobile Data.
(iPhone: Go to Settings → Mobile → Mobile Data → Off)
(Android: Go to Settings → Connections → Data Usage → Mobile Data → Off)
STEP 3:
•Forget your home Wi-Fi connection (make sure you record your password before
completing this step)
(Go to Settings→ Wi-Fi→ Click on ⓘor → Click on Forget)
STEP 4: The Wi-Fi inverter dongle will show up as a Wi-Fi network (Solis_5A12*********)
in your available Wi-Fi List. The number after Solis will be same as the Serial Number of
your Wi-Fi dongle. See example below for iPhone (left) and Samsung (right).
NOTE:The following steps are for iPhone and Android devices. Some images are of an
iPhone but the same steps can be followed on Android devices.

is just an example, you will
have a different number that
will be same as your Wi-Fi
dongle Serial Number
(Solis_5A12*************).
Once connected it should say
“No Internet Connection”or
“Unsecured Network”.

STEP 5: Open your internet browser e.g. Safari or Chrome and type the IP address
10.10.100.254 on the search bar. Then press Go/Search. See example below for iPhone
(left) and Samsung (right).
STEP 6: You should get a screen prompt asking for Username and Password.
Username: admin
Password: 123456789
Then Press Sign in.

STEP 7: You will see a screen as shown below. From the top left corner, press Quick Set
(second option).
STEP 8: Then Press “Search”button and look for your house Wi-Fi.

STEP 9: Select your Wi-Fi name and ensure that the RSSI (signal strength) is more than
30%. Anything below 30% is not recommended.
Click OK once you have selected your network.
STEP 10: Enter your home Wi-Fi’s password. To verify, click Eye Symbol to see the
password and then click Save. Do not fill up any other fields.

STEP 11: Once you see the message below, you can open your SolisCloud app and check
your Datalogger Status.
‘ALL DONE’
NOTE:If setup is completed & there is no update in SolisCloud after 5 minutes. Please
double check the Wi-Fi password, reset the dongle, and repeat all steps again.
To reset the dongle, please click and hold Reset button at the back of the dongle for 35
seconds.
If datalogger (S3-WIFI-ST) has no lights, please contact Solis Tech Support.

STEP 12: Open SolisCloud App → open your Plant1→click on Device2→Click on
Datalogger3→click on the SN of your Datalogger4as below to confirm if your datalogger
is ONLINE (if offline, please repeat steps again):
