SPECIFICATIONS
This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug in which 1 prong is wider
than the other. This is a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock.
The plug will t into a polarized outlet only 1 way. If you are unable to
insert the plug into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If it sll does not t,
contact a qualied electrician. DO NOT aempt to modify the plug in any
way. Ginny’s cannot accept any liability for damage or injury resulng from
failure to observe these safety procedures.

Ne: To avoid overow during brewing, make sure the lter and
basket are securely in place and ensure the carafe is correctly
inserted on the hot plate.
SETTING THE CLOCK
1. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet and press HOUR, then
press MINUTE to set the current me for A.M. or P.M.
2. The clock will need to be reset each me the power cord in unplugged.
Ne: Before the rst use, clean your new coeemaker by running
2 brew cycles as described below without using coee.
BREWING COFFEE
1. Fill the carafe with fresh, cold water (preferably boled or ltered water).
2. Open the lid and pour the water into the water tank at rear of housing.
The number of cups will show at the water guide on the right side of the
housing (maximum 12 cups (5-oz. each). DO NOT exceed the maximum ll
level. DO NOT make less than 4 cups.
3. Insert the basket and turn unl the “loop” on top is at “2:00.” Drop the
lter into the basket and add desired amount of coee (check coee
package label for recommendaons). Snap the lid shut.
4. Place the carafe on the hot plate.
5. Press ON/OFF once to start brewing coee. The red LED light will ash.
6. This coee maker has a “pause and serve” feature. If the carafe is removed
from the hot plate before brewing is complete, brewing will pause unl the
carafe is replaced.
Ne: While “pause and serve” is a convenient way to pour a cup
of coee before brewing is complete, we recommend you wait
unl the compleon of the brew cycle as the strength of coee
poured may be weak and may aect the nished coee’s strength
and avor.

7. The hot plate will stay heated as long as the coee maker is on.
8. Switch the coee maker o when the carafe is empty or you no longer
want to keep coee hot. The coee maker will shut o automacally aer
120 minutes.
9. When brewing is nished, let the coee grounds cool. Open the lid and
remove the lter by grasping the handle and liing straight up from the
basket. Discard used coee grounds.
10. If 2 or more pots of coee are to be made, we recommend the coee
maker be allowed to cool for 10 minutes between each brewed pot. The
coee grounds should be changed and the lter should be rinsed
between each brew cycle.
SETTING DELAY BREW
1. Ensure the current me is set on the coee maker (see page 6).
2. To set brew start me, press PROG. Use HOUR and MIN to set the desired
start me.
3. Press PROG again and the green LED light will come on. “AUTO” will
display on the screen.
4. Your coee maker will automacally begin brewing at the programmed
me. When the brew cycle begins, the red LED light will ash to indicate
the coee maker is in operaon.
SETTING THE STRENGTH FUNCTION
To slow down brewing, resulng in stronger coee, Press STRENGTH aer
pressing ON/OFF to start brewing.

HOW TO OPERATE
Warnings:
• Never sr inside the carafe with a spoon or other utensil.
• DO NOT use a cracked glass carafe or a carafe having a loose or
weakened handle.
• If carafe should break, DO NOT consume the coee.
• DO NOT use ice cubes in carafe or place carafe in a refrigerator.
• DO NOT drink directly from carafe.
• DO NOT leave an empty carafe on the heated hot plate.

CLEANING & CARE
DAILY CLEANING
1. Turn o and unplug the coee maker.
2. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Remove the basket and lter. CAUTION: there may sll be some hot liquid
in with the grounds in the lter or basket. Discard the coee grounds.
4. DO NOT use harsh or abrasive cleansers on any part of your coeemaker.
5. Wash the carafe, lter and basket in warm, sudsy water or place in top
rack of the dishwasher.
6. Wipe the housing and hot plate with a damp cloth.
6. DO NOT try to clean the inside of the water tank with a cloth (this may
leave a residue of lint and could clog your coee maker). Only rinse with
cold water periodically and leave the lid open to air dry.
7. DO NOT immerse any cord, plug or electrical appliance into water.
8. Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly before reassembling and using
this appliance.
DECALCIFYING THE COFFEEMAKER
1. Calcium buildup frequently occurs in drip coeemakers. This is normal
and is caused by minerals commonly found in water. Your coee
maker will need decalcifying when you noce an obvious slow down in
brewing me. We recommend decalcifying at least 4 mes per year. When
60 pots of coee have been brewed, the green LED light will ash. This is a
reminder to decalcify.
2. Decalcify your unit with a soluon of 2 Tbsp. white vinegar in 1 carafe
of cold water.
3. Pour this soluon into the water tank, close the lid and place the carafe
on the hot plate. Press CLEAN. The green led light will come on.
4. When the cleaning cycle is nished, empty the carafe and rinse it with
clean water.
5. Rell the water tank with cold water only and run a normal brew cycle
(see page 6). Repeat. This will rinse out any remaining vinegar soluon.

WARRANTY
Ginny’s warrants this product free from defects in material and
workmanship for one year from provable date of purchase.
Within this warranty period, Ginny’s will repair or replace, at its opon,
defecve parts at no charge provided the product is returned freight
prepaid with proof of purchase to Ginny’s. Allow 2–4 weeks for return
shipping.
This warranty does not cover improper installaon, misuse, abuse or neglect
on part of the owner. Warranty is also invalid in any case that the product is
taken apart or serviced by an unauthorized service staon.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights and they may vary from
state to state.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND
