IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electric shock, do not place cord, plug, or base unit in water or
other liquids.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting
on or taking off parts, and before cleaning appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to should reference Ginny’s returns
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by manufacturer may cause
fire electric shock or risk of injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Always fill water in glass carafe first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect,
turn controls to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
13. Ensure the appliance working with the lid closed. Danger of scalding!
14. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycle.
15. Do not set a hot beverage container on a wet or cold surface.
16. Do not clean beverage container or warming plate with cleansers, steel wool pads, or
other abrasive materials.
17. Never transport the appliance, when it has been filled with a hot liquid. Danger of
scalding!
18. WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT
REMOVE THE BASE PANEL. NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS ARE INSIDE.
REPAIR SHOULD BE DONE ONLY BY AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL.
19. Avoid contacting moving parts.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk
of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not modify the plug in any way.

HOW TO USE
Read all the sections of this booklet and follow all the instructions carefully.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE
Remove the device from the packaging and check if all components are present.
Clean the coffee maker with a clean, dump cloth.
Note: Do not immerse the coffee maker in any liquid.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Add water
a Take the coffee filter and the water pipe out, add cold water into the pot according the
cup number you want. (42 cups max.)
Note: Do not use hot water.
b Do not add too much water beyond the max. level.
Add coffee
a Add proper volume of coffee into the coffee filter, you can adjust the volume
according to your own choice and the kind of coffee.
Note: Do not add too much coffee, the top level of coffee should be lower than the
edge of the coffee filter by 2 cm /1 inch. Or the coffee may floor out during heating.
b Fit the water pipe into the bottom of the coffee filter, and put them into the coffee
maker carefully until you fit the bottom base of the water pipe into the heating

Heating coffee
a Close the lid and rock it.
b Insert the plug into appropriate outlet. Switch ON the power switch. The coffee maker
is heating now, the heating lamp light on.
Note: Do not open the lid when the coffee maker is heating.
Keep warm coffee
When the temperature of the water reach about 1850F, it show that the coffee is brewed
now. The coffee maker will switch to keep warm automatically, and keep the coffee inside
in a suitable temperature. The keep warm lamp light on.
After using
Unplug the coffee make after using or you do not want to keep warm the brewed coffee.
CARE AND MAINTENACE
1. Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the electrical socket.
2. Allow it to cool completely before you begin cleaning.
3. Clean the shell with a damp cloth.
4. Clean the lid, the coffee filter. water pipe with warm water.
5. Pull some clean water into the pot, clean the inside surface and the heating element
gently with a soft brush. Note: Clean the heating element after each use.
6. Clean the inside of body carefully with a soft sponge and clear water. Rinse out with
clear water, and let the water rinse out through the tap, in order to be certain that it is
clean.
7. Wipe the inside of body dry with a soft, dry towel.
8. Wipe outer surface of the appliance.
9. Before putting the appliance away for storage, allow all parts to dry completely.
10. For hygienic reasons, always store the appliance with its lid removed!
CAUTION:
zDo not submerge the device in water or rinse it with running water.
zDo not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.
zThe appliance is not suited for cleaning in a dishwasher.

DE-SCALING
To ensure your appliance continues to make good coffee or wine or tea, you should
occasionally de-scale the mineral residue left by water using a de-scaling product
specifically formulated for coffeemakers. The frequency of this operation will depend on
the hardness of the water in your area and on how often you use your coffee maker. If you
use it once or twice a day, use the following as a guideline:
zSoft water: de-scale twice a year.
zMedium hard water: de-scale 4 times a year.
zVery hard water: de-scale monthly.
Use a standard de-scaling agent sold for coffeemakers according to the application
instructions or use a mixture of 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water. Pour de-scaling mixture into the
reservoir, and switch on appliance. When de-scaling liquid has passed through completely,
empty carafe and pour out hot liquid. Never pour hot de-scaling solution into the water
container. Process may need to be repeated due to the hardness of your water.
Attention: After de-scaling it is necessary to operate the appliance 2-3 times with a full
container of fresh water as done before the first use. No guarantee is assumed for
damages that are due to disregard of the de-scaling instructions.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature
to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
3. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be
used if care is exercised in their use.
4. If a long detachable power cord or extension cord is used,
zThe marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance,
zThe longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or
table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
