Please read and understand this entire manual before
attempting to assemble, operate, or install the product. CAUTION: Always turn off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.

Glacier Bay products are manufactured with superior quality standards and workmanship and are backed by our
limited lifetime warranty. Glacier Bay products are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free of
defects in materials or workmanship. We will replace FREE OF CHARGE any product or parts that proves defective.
Simply, return the product / part to any of The Home Depot retail locations or call 1-855-HD-GLACIER (1-855-434-
5224) to receive the replacement item. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer
purchaser must be made available for all Glacier Bay warranty claims.
This warranty excludes incidental/inconsequential damages and failures due to misuse, abuse or normal wear and
tear. This warranty excludes all industrial, commercial & business usage, whose purchasers are hereby, extended
duration of warranty.
Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other

1 Installing the faucet assembly
CAUTION: Always turn off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
□Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
□Place the gasket (B) onto the bottom of the new
faucet assembly (A).
□Place the faucet assembly (A) through the
mounting holes in the sink.
2 Making the waterline
connections
□Use 1/2 in. I.P.S. faucet connections (2), or use
supply line coupling nuts (3) (not included) with
a 3/8 in. O.D. ball-nose riser (1).
□Use wrenches to tighten the connections. Do not
overtighten.
□Secure the faucet assembly (A) to the sink
using the mounting nuts (C) provided.
NOTE: If the sink is uneven, use silicone under the
gasket (B).

3 Preparing the pop-up assembly
□Remove the stopper (D) and ange (E).
□Screw the nut (G) all the way down, and push
the gasket (F) down.
4 Installing the pop-up body and
pop-up flange
□Apply silicone to the underside of the ange (E).
□Apply thread sealant tape to the top threads of
the pop-up body (H) in a clockwise direction,
as shown.
□Insert the pop-up body (H) into the sink. Screw
the ange (E) onto the pop-up body (H). The pivot
hole (1) must face the back of the sink.
□Use the groove joint pliers to tighten the nut (G),
but do not over tighten. Do not turn the pop-up
body (H) while tightening the nut (G) or the
sealant may not seal properly. Clean away any
excess putty.
5Installing the horizontal rod,
stopper, and strap
□Remove the pivot nut (I).
□Install the horizontal rod (J) and stopper (D), as
shown (1).
□Hand tighten the pivot nut (I).
□Attach the horizontal rod (J) to the strap (M)
using the clip (K).

6 Installing the lift rod
□Insert the lift rod (N) through the faucet
assembly (A) and into the strap (M).
□Tighten the screw (L).
1Flushing and checking for leaks
□Turn on the water supply and allow both hot
and cold water to run for at least one minute
each. This ushes away any debris that could
cause damage to internal parts.
□While the water is running, check for leaks.
□Turn off the water and replace the aerator.
Operation
IMPORTANT: After installation is complete, remove the
aerator to ush the water lines.

1 Cómo instalar el ensamblaje
del grifo
□Cierra el suministro de agua. Retira el grifo
anterior.
□Coloca la junta (B) en la parte inferior del
ensamblaje del grifo nuevo (A).
□Coloca el ensamblaje del grifo (A) en los oricios
de montaje del lavamanos.
2 Cómo hacer las conexiones de
las tuberías de agua
□Usa conexiones de grifos de 1/2" IPS (2) o
tuercas de acoplamiento de líneas de suministro
(3) (no incluidas) con un tubo montante de bola
de diámetro exterior de 3/8" (1).
□Usa llaves para apretar las conexiones. No aprietes
demasiado.
□Asegura el ensamblaje del grifo (A) al lavamanos
con las tuercas de montaje (C) incluidas.
NOTA: Si el lavamanos es irregular, usa silicona debajo
de la junta (B).
PRECAUCIÓN: Cierra siempre el suministro de agua
antes de quitar un grifo existente o reemplazar cualquier
pieza de un grifo. Abre la llave del grifo para liberar la
presión de agua y asegúrate de que el suministro de agua
esté completamente cerrado.

3 Cómo preparar el ensamblaje
emergente
□Retira el tapón (D) y la brida (E).
□Enrosca la tuerca (G) hasta el límite. Presiona
la junta (F) hacia abajo.
4 Cómo instalar el cuerpo
emergente y la brida emergente
□Aplica silicona en el lado inferior de la brida (E).
□Coloca cinta selladora para roscas en las roscas
superiores del cuerpo emergente (H), en dirección
de las manecillas del reloj, como se muestra.
□Inserta el cuerpo emergente (H) en el lavamanos.
Enrosca la brida (E) en el cuerpo emergente (H).
El oricio del pivote (1) debe mirar hacia la parte
trasera del lavamanos.
□Usa el alicate articulado de extensión para
apretar la tuerca (G), pero no la aprietes
demasiado. No gires el tapón emergente
mientras ajustas la tuerca o el sellador no
sellará apropiadamente. Limpia el exceso
de masilla.
5Cómo instalar la varilla
horizontal, el tapón y la correa
□Retira la tuerca pivotante (I).
□Instala la varilla horizontal (J) y el tapón (D) tal
como se muestra (1).
□Aprieta la tuerca pivotante con la mano (I).
□Sujeta la varilla horizontal (J) a la correa (M)
con el sujetador (K).

6 Cómo instalar la varilla de
elevación
□Inserta la varilla de elevación (N) a través del
ensamblaje del grifo (A) y en la correa (M).
□Aprieta el tornillo (L).
1Cómo purgar las tuberías y
comprobar que no haya fugas
□Abre el suministro de agua y deja correr agua
fría y caliente durante al menos un minuto
cada una. Esto enjuagará cualquier suciedad
que podría dañar las piezas internas.
□Con el chorro abierto, verica que no haya
fugas.
□Cierra el suministro de agua y vuelve a colocar
el aireador.
Funcionamiento
IMPORTANTE: Después de terminar la instalación, retira
el aireador para purgar las tuberías de agua.

Cuidado y limpieza
□Conserva el acabado del grifo aplicando cera no abrasiva.
□Cuando uses limpiadores no abrasivos, enjuaga de inmediato cuando termines de limpiar el grifo.
□No uses limpiadores abrasivos para limpiar este grifo.
