buildingsbyusingtheenergycontainedin
theexteriorair.
Thesystemenhancestherecuperated
energysothatitcanbeutilizedby
traditionalheating(heatingoorand/or
low-temperatureradiators).
Installationandcommissioningofthe
applianceshouldonlybecarriedoutbya
competentperson.Theyareresponsible
fortheinstallationandthecommissioning
inaccordancewithstandardsinforce.
Youshouldalsoconsultacompetent
personformaintenanceandrepairofthe
applianceaswellasforanyadjustment
necessary.

Therefrigerantuidcontainsgasesthat,
whenreleasedintotheatmosphere,

theozonelayer,contributingtothe
greenhouseeffectandanincreasein
temperature.Theriskofleakagecannot
beexcludedfordevicesintendedto
operateformanyyearsandsubjecttothe
effectsoftheenvironment.
TheGlobalWarmingPotential(GWP)is
composed,ononehand,ofindirectcarbon
dioxide(CO2)emissionsoriginatingfrom
theenergyconsumedbytheinstallations,
andontheotherhand,ofdirectemissions
ofrefrigerantgasresultantfromleaksin
theinstallations.
TheGlobalWarmingPotential(GWP)is
asimplemeansbywhichtocomparethe
differentgreenhousegasemissionsthat
affecttheclimatesystem.

ComprehensiveGuarantee.
Thisproductisguaranteedfor24months
fromthedateofinstallationor30months
fromthedateofmanufacture,whicheveris
theshorter,forpartsandlabour.
Thesecondyearofthepartsguarantee,
fromthebeginningofthe13thmonth
onwardsafterinstallationormanufacture,
isconditionalupontheheatpumphaving
beenservicedbyacompetentperson
approvedatthetimebytheHealthand
SafetyExecutive,inaccordancewiththe
manufacturer’srecommendations.We
stronglyrecommendregularservicingof
yourappliance,butwherethecondition
isnotmet,anychargeablesparepartsor
componentsissuedwithintheapplicable
guaranteeperiodstillbenetfroma12
monthwarrantyfromthedateofissueby
themanufacturer.

6.3 Refrigerant

Undernormaluseandconditions,the
refrigerantisnotdangerous.
Degassingrefrigerantintotheatmosphere

isgeneratedasaresultoftheexpandingorcontractingofthehousingcaused
bychangesintemperatureofthedifferentmaterialsandisquitenormal.
Whenthesystemisinoperationahummingmaybeheard.Thisnoiseis
generatedwhentheunitdefrostsinheatingmodeandiscausedbythe
reversaloftherefrigerantow.
Emitsmist Inwinterandduringthedefrostingperiod,acloudofmistmaybeproducedin
theoutdoorunit;thisisduetotheheatmeltingtheicewhichhasformed.
Otherdefects -ContactyourInstallation/ServicingcompanyorGlow-
wormService.
• Ifaftercarryingoutthisbasicadvice
andyourappliancestilldoesnotwork,
leaveitturnedoffandcontactyour
competentperson.

10 Appliance maintenance and
servicing
Therefrigerantuidcontainsgasesthat,
whenreleasedintotheatmosphere,
mayaffecttheenvironmentbydepleting

temperature.Theriskofleakagecannot
beexcludedfordevicesintendedto
operateformanyyearsandsubjecttothe
effectsoftheenvironment.

maintenanceandrepairoperations
tobecarriedoutonyourappliance

10.1 Cleaning

appliance off.

as you may damage the
