iCtp New Flush box

Issue(s)/symptom(s):
The new Print-Bed improvement allows the possibility to adjust print head height to 0.6 mm. in narrow
head height to increase print quality (CS-Note: GJ-20170105). Issue; if head high is lowered to 0.6 mm,
there is a risk that the print head will hit old type flush box.
Improvement(s):
The old type flush box was attached to the pump cap assembly and thereby a part of the pump cap
assembly.. The new Flush box is a standalone part, which is fixed on the printer chassis. The flush box
does not need to be exchanged; only the upper flush pad will need to be exchanged when needed. The
new type flus box is 0.5 mm. lower in height.
Procedure: Remove the old flush box and replace it with new flush box. Please follow instruction below
for replacement of the flush box.
Dismount the pump-cap-assy by loosing 3 screws.
Dismount the drain hose and the hose from FIC-pump.
The old flush box is mounted at the pump-cap-assy.
Dismount the old flush box as shown.
Dismount the hose
from FIC-Pump
Drain hose
Dismount the 4 plugs
as shown on picture.
Remove the “pump
cap assy”

Mount the new flush box as shown; fasten it with 1 piece M3 x 6
screw.
Remount the drain hose to the flush box .
Fasten Pump-Cap-Assy and mount the 3 screws as shown.
Mount the 2 hoses from Pump-Cap-Assy to the flush box
