SPECIFICATIONS
The C300S shell is made of black ABS material with a nylon bracket. Normal operating
temperatures are -4 to 140 degrees F (-20 to 60 degrees C).

BUTTON OPERATION
The C300S has three buttons including “M” power on/off and backlight, “+”and”-” toggle/
change mode buttons.

OPERATING VIEW AREA
With the display on the default displays are: discharge level, battery level, riding speed,
trip distance, pedal assist (PAS) level.

NORMAL OPERATION
1. ON/OFF
Press “M” to start the display. Press “M” again to turn on the backlight. With display on,
press “M” for 3 seconds to turn off the power. The display will automatically power off after
5 minutes of inactivity. With the display off there is no consumption of battery power. The
leakage current is no more than 2µA.
2. CURRENT DISPLAY
Current display, top left in operating mode, represents the discharging current of the
controller. Each mark signifies 2A, six segments is >=12A or full discharge. The longer the
operation is at full current the more battery power is being utilized/drawn.
3. SPEED DISPLAY
The speed display is located top right and can be set to either KPH or MPH. The active
setting will be reflected on screen.
4. KM/H & MPH
Select KM/H or MPH for the speed and mileage, display will be to the currently selected
units display.
5. BACKLIGHT INDICATOR
With the power on, press and hold the “M” button for 1.5 second to turn on the display
backlight. Press and hold again to turn off the backlight.

6. 4 MPH/ 6 KMH PAS
Hold the “-” for 1.5 seconds to activate 4MPH/6 KPH PAS mode. This will automatically
activate PAS when pedaling greater than 4MPH/6 KPH. This readout is located on the
bottom left of the display.
7. ASSIST (PAS) LEVEL SELECTION
Click “+” or “-” to change the PAS stages and output power ratio. PAS levels range from
level 1 (the lowest assist) to level 6 (the greatest assist), the default value is level 1. This
readout changes on the bottom left of the display.
8. ERROR CODE INDICATOR
If an error occurs in the electronic control system the display will flash at 1 HZ and indicate
the error code. See the Error Code table for details. If an error code occurs the unit will
not operate. The error code is on the bottom of the display and is indicated by a wrench
symbol and corresponding error number.

9. SETTINGS MODE OPERATION
Simultaneously press and hold the ”+” and “-” for 2 seconds to enter the settings interface.
Pressing “M” will toggle settings interfaces. Press and hold the “+” and “-” for 1 second to
exit settings mode.
9.1 SET1: RESET TRIP DISTANCE TO 0
Press “-” to reset the trip distance to zero.
9.2 SET2: MAX SPEED LIMITED SETTING
The maximum speed is 25MPH/40KMH by default. The maximum speed value range
selection is 12MPH/20KPH, 21MPH/34KPH and 25MPH/40KPH. Once maximum speed is
reached the controller will stop supplying power to bicycle.

9.3 SET3: WHEEL DIAMETER SETTING
Select your wheel diameter to ensure the accuracy of display. Your wheel diameter should
come preset.
9.4 SET4: KM/H & MPH
Select MPH or KMH for the speed and mileage by pressing”+” or”-”, display will be the
currently selected units on the display.
9.5 SET5: VOLTAGE EXCHANGE
Hold “+” or ”-” to switch between 36V/48V systems. This value should come preset.

10. HISTORICAL DATA
With display on, press “M” to show total accumulation of (miles or kilometers), trip
distance, cycling time, maximum speed.
* turn on the show automatically.
11. BATTERY INDICATION
The battery frame has six segments. When the battery capacity is full, the six battery
segments are all lit (dark). In low battery, the outside edge of the battery frame will flash. It
indicates that the battery is severely low and needs to be recharged immediately.
12. CABLE INDICATION
1. Red: Battery+
2. Blue: Lock
3. Black: Battery -
4. White: UART-SEND (TXD)
5. Green: UART-RECEIVED(RXD)

13. AUTO OFF AFTER 5 MINUTES
When inactive for 5 minutes the system will turn off automatically.
