The PRO-ScalerSDIHD 3G-SDI to HDMI converter with scaler and monitor has
been tested for conformance to safety regulations and requirements, and has
been certied for international use. However, like all electronic equipments, the
PRO-ScalerSDIHD should be used with care. Please read and follow the safety
instructions to protect yourself from possible injury and to minimize the risk of
damage to the unit.

PRO-ScalerSDIHD
The PRO-ScalerSDIHD 3G-SDI to HDMI converter with scaler and monitor is an
advanced SDI monitor with multi-format and multi-pattern support. Not only can it
receive SDI signals, the PRO-ScalerSDIHD can also bypass SDI input to SDI output.
It is equipped three buttons and a 3.5” panel to ease the control. With a 3.5” panel,
the output signal can be monitored and controlled through OSD, such as resolution
and image adjustments.
This device can also be used as a tool for eye diagram scanning to check the quality
of the SDI cable input. In addition, it provides a variety of test patterns, which can
be used as a simple SDI pattern generator. Our PRO-ScalerSDIHD provides a cost
eective way to monitor the video devices and displays.

5. Exit
The display of Range depends on the characteriscs, length and quality of the coaxial
cable. Take the Belden 1694A coaxial cable as an example. For the length of 1m, 5m,
50m, 100m, the range will display short, short, long and long.

10. Firmware Update Steps
1. Remove the power adapter from the PRO-ScalerSDIHD.
2. Connect the PRO-ScalerSDIHD to a PC/laptop via micro USB cable.
3. Open update tool (NUC Firmware Updated) and load the rmware le.
4. Click connect, then plug the power adapter.
5. Click start to activate the rmware update process.
6. Power cycle the PRO-ScalerSDIHD.

11. Limited Warranty
The SELLER warrants the PRO-ScalerSDIHD 3G-SDI to HDMI converter with scaler and mo-
nitor to be free from defects in the material and workmanship for 1 year from the date of
purchase from the SELLER or an authorized dealer. Should this product fail to be in good
working order within 1 year warranty period, The SELLER, at its option, repair or replace
the unit, provided that the unit has not been subjected to accident, disaster, abuse or any
unauthorized modications including static discharge and power surges.
Unit that fails under conditions other than those covered will be repaired at the current
price of parts and labor in eect at the time of repair. Such repairs are warranted for 90
days from the day of reshipment to the BUYER. If the unit is delivered by mail, customers
agree to insure the unit or assume the risk of loss or damage in transit. Under no circum-
stances will a unit be accepted without a return authorization number.
The warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including without
limitations, any other implied warranty or tness or merchantability for any particular
purpose, all of which are expressly disclaimed.
Proof of sale may be required in order to claim warranty. Customers outside Taiwan are
responsible for shipping charges to and from the SELLER. Cables are limited to a 30 day
warranty and cable must be free from any markings, scratches, and neatly coiled.
