MAINFUNCTIONS
•POWER/ON –switchesthe
detectorsandregulatesits power.
There are tenpower levels–asit
worksmainlyon9TH or10TH level.
•GAIN–regulatesthepower of
gainedsignal.Whenthesoilis
normalitworks mainlyonlevel10.
•THRESHOLD–athresholdtone.
Indrysoilitnormallyworkson
level9or10.Whenthemoisture is
highit’sgoodtoworkunderlevel8.
•SIGNAL–eliminatessoil
mineralization.Whensoilisnormal
it’sgoodtoworkon level8to10,
whilethesoilishighlymineralized
it’srecommendedtoworkonlevel0
to3.
•NOISE–eliminatesinfluence of
Romanpotteryover theapparatus,
it’susedincombinationwith
SIGNAL.
•FASTZERO–pressthisbutton
forabout2-3secondswhenthe
detectorisreadytoworkwithand
thecoilisover theground.Pressing
thisbutton eliminatesground
mineralization andthedetector
choosesitselfthemost suitable
depthforsearching.Whilepressthe
button “fast zero”youmustbesure
there isnometalobjectsunder the
coil.Werecommendpress this
button every4-5minutes.
•LOW BATTERY–ifthelight
switchesonwhileoperating,it
showsit’snecessarytochargethe
battery.If it happens,please, donot
usethedetector.Thechargeset
consistsofmicroprocessorwhich
cannotworklonger ifthestraingoes
downthanallowedandthestocan’t
bere-charged.Itwill leadto
damagesofthesto!
•PHONE –aheadphonesjack.
Whenyouswitchon headphones,the
speaker switchesoff automatically.
Weadviseyoutouseheadphonesfor
theyhelp youhear soundbetter and
thusleadtouncoveringdeeper
buriedobjects.It’srecommendedto
usestereoheadphoneswithamplify
control.
•SPEAKER–speaker.
•COIL–acoiljack.
FITTINGTHE COIL
Unfoldthecoilandputitintothe
openings.Whilestuff in thepipes
oneintoanother youhavetowork
verycarefully.Stuff in thecable

verycarefullyintothelast pipe.Fit
thecableofthecoiltothecoupling
“COIL”/turnit carefullytill the
end/.After buyingthedetectoryou
havetochargeitusingtheenclosed
chargedevice forfewhours.
ATTENTION!Youmust notturnon
thedetectorifthecoilis unfold,
otherwiseyoucandamageit!
OPERATION
Forreachingbetter resultswhile
searchingindeepsoils,youhaveto
keepthefollowinginstructions:
Walk out awayin aplace where
there arenometalobjects.Takeup
thecoilintheair,setthebuttons
“POWER”,“GAIN”,“NOISE”and
“TRESHOLD”to 10,andthebutton
“SIGNAL”to 0. Putthecoilcloseto
earthandsetitstill over 3-5meters
over earth.Press thebutton“ZERO”
forabout 2-3 seconds andreleaseit.
Thesignaltoneslowlydisappearsor
some occasionalshorttonescanbe
heardin the“SPEAKER”.Keepthe
coilsteadyover thegroundforsome
minutes.If thesignaltoneor
occasionalshorttonesappearagain,
thenslowlydecreasetotheleftthe
buttons“POWER” and
”TRESHOLD”whiletheycan
hardlybeheard.Forthedetectoris
constructedforawiderangeof
searching,tofindtheproper
situationofanobjectweadviseyou
toset“SIGNAL”and“NOISE”ona
position 5,where thesignaltonewill
bejustover theobject.It’s
reasonabletousethedetectorwhen
thesituationofanobjecthasbeen
localizedbefore.Youcanalsotune
uptheapparatustobeverysensible
towardsverysmall objects-nails,
caps,foilandother trash -sothey
can’tbecaughtoutbythedetector.
Suchdiscriminationis necessary
whendigginghugerangeofsoilfor
findinggreatfinds,notnecessary
whilesearchingspare coins.If soil
is highlymineralizedyoumayher
differentdisturbances.Youwill
realizethatifthesignalofthe
apparatusincreasesanddonot
disappearinsome meters.This
showsthatunder yourfeetthere isa
hugeobjectandsignalcomesbythe
highlyore soil.Sopressthebutton
“FASTZERO”for2-3-secondsand
keepthecoilsteadyover theground.
Automaticsettingswill make
operationwiththedetectornormal
andyouwill bereadytocontinue
workinginthisregion.If youuse

oneortwo meterssquarecoilsyou
havetoknow thattheirworking
positionis15-20cm over the
ground.Inthis positionifyouhear a
heavyandshortsignal,walk back
andraisethecoilsome more 15-20
cm over theground;ifyouloosethe
signalitwill meantheobjectis too
small.Soyouuseyourown
judgmentifyouwill continue
working.If thesignalisstill loud
andlongitmeanstheobjectis
bigger and deeplyburied.When
liftingthecoilover 30-40cmover
thegroundthesignalwill not
disappear. If usingtheonemeter coil
youhappentofindashortsignal
youcanfind theproper situationas
youkeepthefollowinginstructions:
Walk back,waitforthesignaltone
todisappear and thenwalk aheadto
thepossibleobject.Whenyouhear
thefirstsignalyouhavetostaystill
andmarkwithanib alineonthe
ground.Thenwalk totheopposite
side,i.e.180degreesoftheplace
andwalk towardtheobject.After
hear thesignal,markasecond line.
Ifthedistance betweenthetwo lines
is some centimetersthatshowsthe
objectistoo small.Forprecise
locationoftheobjectmaketwo
more measuringtotheleftandtothe
rightat90 degrees.Another wayto
localize asmall objectistoliftup
thecoilat90degrees,i.e.keepit
paralleluprighttoyourself.Catch
thecoilwithtwo hands tothetwo
oppositeparallels.Bringthecoil
near theground,press“FAST
ZERO”for2-3secondsandwalk
aheadasyoumeasurethesame way
mentionedbefore at90an180
degrees.
Examples:
1. Signaltonerisesfast over a
small parcel,itslowsdownfastand
thenrisesup again.This indicates
foraverysmall objectonalow
depth.
2. Signaltonerisesslowly,
coversahugeparcelandthenslowly
goesdown–itindicatesforahuge
anddeeplyburied/inarangeof2-3
meters/object.

3. Signaltonerisesslowlyover a
small parcelandthenslowlydoes
down.Itindicatesforamiddlesbig
objectburiedinarangeof1-2
meters.
Youcanmakeyourmeasurements
asyouburydifferentsizedobjectin
differentrangeofdepthsatleast1
meter onanother fortestingsmall
coils,andatleast4metersfor
testingoneortwo meterscoils.
Whileworkingwiththedetectorbe
consistentand keepnotesforall
yourmeasurementsasyoupointthe
parcelandits structureofsoil,the
depthofburiedobjects,andthekind
oftheobject,thesettingsofbuttons
thatlocalize thepositionofthe
object….As moreexperimentsyou
makeasmuchyouwill form your
professionalexperience.
BATTERY CHARGE
BanditoImpulsepossessesa
rechargeablestoragebattery.If a
light"Low battery"switcheson
whileworkingwiththeapparatus
youmust spotworkand rechargethe
battery.Pluginthejack"CHARGE"
ofthechargesetintoelectricnetof
220V.After some hoursthebattery
will berecharged.Thechargeset
will automaticallyswitchoff when
thebatteryis readysothebattery
can’tbedamagedifit stayslonger in
thechargeset.Whenit’sready,in
thereverseorder takethejackback
ofthe"CHARGE".

in different regions it ispossibleto
come upondifferentammunitions-
shells,cartridges,mines–sobe
carefulwhilediganyobject.You
must digfound objectverycarefully
anddonotallow childrenaround!
