1. Read these instructions - for all components before using this product.
2. Keep these instructions - for future reference.
3. Heed all warnings - on the product and in the owner's guide.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water or moisture - Do not use this product
near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, near a
swimming pool, or anywhere else that water or moisture are present.
6. Clean only with a dry cloth - Unplug this product from the Electrical socket
before cleaning.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the
manufacture's instructions
-To ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating,
put the product in a position and location that will not interfere with its proper
ventilation. For example, do not place the product on a bed, sofa, or similar
surface that may block the ventilation openings, Do not put it in a built-in
system, such as a bookcase or a cabinet that may keep air from flowing
through its ventilation openings.

4. Connection of other audio devices by audio cable
You can connect other audio device, like MP3 player or any iPod without a dock
connector by using the included 3.5mm audio cable to the audio in jack.
Note: When iPod is docked and audio in is connected with other device; other
device will be the priority sound source.

The GSPK29iP Digital Music System can be put to use after connecting the power
supply, the indicator will light up, then after connecting your iPod, just set the music
you want to listen to the iPod and plug the iPod on the docking station.
Switch on at your back of your GSPK29iP to turn it on.

to "Troubleshooting".
Once your iPod is docked, power is recharged automatically until
it's fully charged. (Only when mains powered).
The system has an inbuilt audio in port and can connect other
audio devices or iPods directly.
You can increase or decrease the volume by pressing " "
and " " button respectively.
To turn off the system, remove your iPod from the dock. Then switch the power
button off or unplug the system from the outlet.

Before enjoying music, please follow the connections step below to set up your system.
Choose a correct dock inserts from No.8,9 or 10(details below) for your iPod model
and put the insert to the dock.(figure 2)

Note: For older generation iPod, please refer to Apple store for insert purchase.
Note: This docking station only supports iPod model with a dock connector.

2. Using with mains power

Connect the AC Adapter into the DC in jack and plug the AC Adapter into the wall outlet.
Then switch on with the on/off switch on the rear of the unit (Figure 3)

3. Using batteries (not included)
Please open the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the unit, and install 4 pcs AA
batteries (not included). Check the polarity of the batteries to match the "+" "-" markings
inside the battery compartment. (Figure 4)

Note: During music playback by using audio in, it's suggested to adjust your
audio device loud enough to ensure the best sound quality. Then adjust the
GSPK29iP volume buttons on top to control the volume level.

TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of malfunction, please power off the system immediately and check the unit according
to following table. If the problem still exists, please contact the dealer.
- Press the "Power" button, if there is no change
on the indicator of the iPod, please press the
"Power" button again.
Power cable is not
connected
- Make sure the GSPK29iP is plugged in and the
LED is illuminated.
- Make sure the GSPK29iP is with battery and the
battery is working if GSPK29iP is not plugged in.
Power isn't turned on
No Sound
Volume Level too low - The volume level might be too low, press
"Volume" button on the panel to adjust.
- Please ensure proper insert is placed for your
iPod. (Refer to "Selecting the correct insert" on
page 3).)
- Unplug the iPod from the docking station to see
any obstructions in the connector or in your iPod.

isn't connected properly
- Connect 3.5mm headphone cable to the audio
source. Make sure the signal cable is inserted
firmly into the correct jack & is fully connected
in the "line-out", "audio-out", or the headphone
jack on your sound card or other audio source.
Your iPod navigation controls are fully functional while it is docked in the system.
Your iPod volume jog wheel changes the headphone volume only. It has no effect on
the Sound Dock system.
Changing the remote control battery is the only regular maintenance that is
required. You may also clean the system as needed.
Replace the remote control battery when it stops operating (normally every year or two), or its range
seems reduced. Use only a Lithium Cell CR2025, Duracell, Eveready, Energizer, Maxell, Toshiba, or
Shun Wo Cr2032 3-volt lithium battery. Keep in mind that lighting and other room conditions, in
addition to battery age, can affect the operating range of an infrared remote control.

- Decrease volume level by pressing on front
panel or on remote control.
Sound distortion
Volume level too high
- Distortion and noise are easily noticed with
high-powered speakers when playing poor
quality audio source, esp. WAV and MID files.
Try a different audio source such as a music CD
or change better quality audio player.
Sound source is distorted
System is not
Responding Malfunction
- If the volume buttons on the top of the unit
work, then check the remote control battery.
To reset: unplug the power and remove
batteries, after 1 minute plug back in
- Please contact customer service .
Solution

No Sound
- Make sure your iPod is on, and a track is
selected for playback.
No playable file on iPod
Your iPod is not charging
- Make sure the power cable is securely plugged
in to a functioning wall socket. The symbol on
the small connector is matched with that on rear
panel of the . (Refer to Figure 4 on
page 4.)
- Make sure your iPod is firmly seated in the dock.

After quickly undocking
or docking your iPod
- Remove your iPod from the dock, wait for 5
seconds, and return it to the dock.
- Unplug the power cable for 1 minute, then plug
it back to reset the system.
iPod does not dock
properly
- Remove your iPod from the dock, wait briefly,
then reset it. You may need to do this for
few times.
