Cleaning your Ice Cream Cone & Waffle Dish Maker
1. Make sure that your Ice Cream Cone & Waffle Dish Maker is clean and dry.
2. Position your Ice Cream Cone & Waffle Dish Maker on a flat table or surface close
to a plug socket.
3. Plug the power lead into a suitable plug socket.

5. Once ready to use make sure that both plates of your Ice Cream Cone & Waffle
Dish Maker has been coated with an oil spray.
6. REMEMBER that the baking plates are very hot; do not touch these with your
hands.
7. Add a dessert spoon sized amount of waffle cone batter to the centre of the
bottom baking plate. Do not overfill each machine; remember that your mixture will
expand with cooking.
8. Carefully close the lid, clip shut the lid latch and allow the mixture to bake for 3-4
minutes.
9. During cooking, the temperature regulating thermostat maintains an even
temperature. You may therefore notice the indicator flickering.
10. After 2 minutes you can open the lid to see if the mixture has been cooked.
11. Take the ice cream cone out of the machine and place onto a plate. Using the
cone roller and a tea towel roll the waffle cone around the roller and hold for a few
seconds until cooled.
12. To create a waffle dish simply take a bowl and place the cooked mixture over it.
Using a tea towel press down and shape the waffle mixture to the bowl. Make sure
you do this before it cools otherwise it will not shape.
13. REMEMBER the ice cream cone will be hot so make sure to use a tea towel while
rolling the mix.
14. Decorate your ice cream cones as desired.www.gourmetgadgetry.com for more

Important Safety Information
Ice Cream Cornets
Ingredients:
•90g of plain flour
•86g of caster sugar
•Pinch of salt
•Half teaspoon of vanilla extract
•2 large egg whites
•30g of butter (melted)
•3 tablespoons of whole milk
The following recipe makes 6 ice cream cones
Instructions
1. Turn on your Ice Cream Cone & Waffle Dish Maker and allow to pre-heat.
2. Combine all ingredients except the milk in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Add the
milk gradually until a pouring (not runny) consistency is achieved. Rest the mix for
10 minutes.
3. When the green light turns off the machine is ready to use. Add two tablespoons of
the mix to the centre of the cooking surface (don’t spread it out) and close the lid.
4. Cook for 2 minutes or until a golden brown colour is achieved all over.
5. Transfer to a plate and shape quickly into a cornet using the cornet shape provided.
The trick is to ensure that the bottom is tightly closed and the seam is flat against
the cornet. Practice shaping the cornets using a circle of paper because you only
have seconds to shape the cornets before they begin to harden.
6. Store in an airtight container once cold, ideally eat on same day as made.
You can also decorate your ice cream cones with melted chocolate and sprinkles.
Simply dip the cone or bowl into the chocolate and top with sprinkles, leave to cool
before serving.
