OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Plug the Toaster into a wall outlet.
Place the bread slices in the Slots (for French bread, cut a loaf shorter than the
slot, then cut it in two pieces along its length). The maximum thickness allowed
for bread is 38mm (1 ½”).
Press down the Power Lever until it stops and the Frames inside the slots will
tighten around the bread in order to keep it away from the quartz heating
elements. The Lever will stay in the lower position while the toasting process
continues. If the Lever comes up immediately, check if the Toaster is plugged in,
as the bread carriage cannot be locked if the Toaster is not plugged in correctly.
If necessary, change the browning intensity to obtain more or less toasted
bread, by adjusting the Browning Control Dial to one of the degrees marked
from 1 (least brown) to 6 (most brown). The higher the number you choose, the
more toasted the bread will be.
When the toasting process is complete, the Lever returns to its original position
and the Frames release the bread.
