Toreduce the chance offire,the GreaseTraymustbe
visuallyinspectedbeforeeachgrilluse.Removethe
GreaseTrayfromthegrill.Removewash theGrease
Traywithamildsoapandwarmwatersolution. Drythe
Traycompletelybeforereinstalling.
CleaningtheInsideoftheGrillLid
Grease canbuildup on theinsideoftheLid.Visually
inspecttheinsideoftheLidbeforeeach Use.Unplug
theunit and use awet washclothtoremoveanygrease.
LeavetheLidopenand letthegrill drybeforeusing it
again.
Cleaning ExteriorStainless SteelSurfaces:
Routinecareandmaintenanceisrequiredtopreserve
the appearanceand corrosionresistanceofstainless
steel. Thefactisstainlesssteelcancorrode,rustand
discolorundercertainconditions.Rustiscausedwhen
regularsteelparticlesintheatmospherebecomeat-
tachedtothestainless steelsurface.Steelparticles
canalso becomeattachedtoyourgrill ifyouuse steel
woolorstiff wirebrushestoclean thegrill insteadof
non-abrasivecloth,spongeornylon cleaning tools.In
coastalareasrustpitscandevelop onstainlesssur-
faces thatcannotbefullyremoved.Bleach and other
chlorinebasedsolutionsusedforhouseholdand pool
cleaningcanalsocausecorrosiontostainlesssteel.
Weathering,extremeheat,smoke fromcookingand
machineoilsused inthemanufacturingprocesscan
causestainlesssteeltoturntan incolor. Althoughthere
aremanyfactorswhichcanaffectthesurface appear-
anceofstainlesssteel,theydonotaffectthe integrityof
the steelortheperformanceofthegrill.Tohelpmain-
tainthefinishofstainless steel,followthesecleaning
tipsforthebestresults:
Aftereveryuse,unplugthe unitandwait foryourgrillto
cool.Wipestainlesssteelsurfaces withadampcloth
orsponge.Besuretoremoveallfood particles,sauces,
ormarinades because thesecanbehighlyacidicand
damagingtostainlesssteelsurfaces.
Neveruseabrasivecleaners,scrubbers,orstiffwire
brushesofanytype onyourgrill.
Makesureyourunit isunplugged.Use aheatresistant
stainless steelcleanerand rub orwipeinthe direction

Preheat thegrill using thehighest setting for no more
than15-20 minutes.OpenLidand placethemeaton
