CORRECTLPGASTANK USE
The LPGastankmustbe constructed andmarkedin
accordancewiththe Specifications forLP-GasCylindersof
the U.S.DepartmentofTransportation(D.O.T.)orthe
NationalStandardofCanada,CAN/CSA-B339,Cylinders,
SpheresandTubesforTransportationof Dangerous Goods;
andCommission,asapplicable.
The LPGastankmusthave ashutoffvalve,terminating
inanLPGassupplytankvalveoutlet,thatiscompatible
withaType 1tankconnectiondevice.TheLPGastank
mustalsohave asafetyreliefdevicethathasadirect
connectionwiththe vaporspace ofthetank.
The tanksupplysystemmustbe arranged forvapor
withdrawal.
The LPGastankmusthave acollartoprotectthe tank
valve.
LPGas grillmodelsaredesigned forusewithastandard
20lb.LiquidPropaneGas(LPGas)tank,notincludedwith
grill. Never connectyourgasgrilltoanLPGas tank that
exceedsthiscapacity.Atankofapproximately12inchesin
diameterby18-1/2incheshigh isthe maximumsizeLPGas
tanktouse. Youmustusean "OPD"gastankwhichoffers
alistedOverfill PreventionDevice. Thissafetyfeature
preventsthe tankfrombeingoverfilledwhich cancausea
malfunction ofthe LPGasTank,regulator,and/orgrill.

everyfillingtoensureitremains freeofdefects.
Always keepLPGastankinuprightposition.
DonotsubjecttheLPGastanktoexcessive heat.
Neverstorean LPGastankindoors.Ifyoustoreyour
gasgrillinthe garage always disconnectthe LPGas
tankfirstandstoreit safelyoutside.
LPGastanksmustbestoredoutdoorsinawell-ventilated
areaandoutofthe reachofchildren.
Disconnected LPGastanks mustnotbestoredina
building,garageoranyotherenclosed area.
The regulatorandhoseassemblycan be seen after
openingthe doorsandmustbeinspected beforeeach
useofthegrill.Ifyourregulatorandhosearedamaged
inanyway,theymustbe replaced priortousingthegrill
again.
Anyattempttoconvertthegrillfromonefueltypeto
anotherisextremelyhazardousand will voidthe
warranty.
Never lightyourgasgrillwiththe lidclosed orbefore
checkingtoensurethe burnersarefullyseatedoverthe
gasvalve orifices.
Never allowchildrentooperateyourgrill.Donotallow
children orpetstoplay nearyourgrill.Always supervise
children andpetsiftheyareinthe vicinityoftheunit.
