CORRECTLPGASTANK USE
LPGas modelsaredesigned forusewithastandard20
lb.LiquidPropaneGas(LPGas)tank(soldseparately).
Never connectyourgas grilltoanLPGastankthatexceeds
thiscapacity.Atankofapproximately12inchesindiameter
by18-1/2inches high isthe maximumsize LPGastankto
use. Youmustusean "OPD"gastank whichoffersalisted
Overfill PreventionDevice. Thissafetyfeaturepreventsthe
tankfrombeingoverfilled whichcan cause amalfunctionof
the LPGasTank,regulator,and/orgrill.
Never connectan unregulated LPgastanktoyourgas
grill. Thegasregulatorassemblysupplied withyourgas
grillisadjustedtohavean outletpressureof11"water
column(W.C.)forconnectiontoanLPgastank.Onlyuse
the regulatorandhoseassemblysupplied withyourgas
grill. Replacementregulatorsandhoseassemblies
mustbethosespecifiedbyGrandHall.
Have yourLPGasdealercheckthereliefvalve afterevery
fillingtoensureit remains freeofdefects.
Always keepLPGastankinuprightposition.
DonotsubjecttheLPGastanktoexcessive heat.
Neverstorean LPGastankindoors.Ifyoustoreyourgas
grillinthe garage always disconnecttheLPGastank
firstandstoreit safelyoutside.
LPGastanksmustbestoredoutdoorsinawell-ventilated

Disconnected LPGastanks mustnotbestoredina

The regulatorandhoseassemblycan be seen after
openingthe doorandmustbe inspected beforeeachuse
ofthe grill. Ifyourregulatorand hose aredamagedin
anyway,they mustbe replaced priortousingthegrill
again.
Anyattempttoconvertthegrillfromonefueltypeto
anotherisextremelyhazardousand willvoidthewarranty.
Never lightyourgasgrillwiththe lidclosed orbefore
checkingtoensurethe burnersarefullyseatedoverthe
gasvalve orifices.
The LPGastankmustbe constructed andmarkedin
accordancewiththe Specifications forLP-GasCylinders
oftheU.S.DepartmentofTransportation(D.O.T.)orthe
NationalStandardofCanada,CAN/CSA-B339,Cylinders,
Spheres and Tubes forTransportation ofDangerous
Goods;andCommission,as applicable.
The LPGastankmusthave ashutoffvalve,terminating
inanLPGassupplytankvalveoutlet,thatiscompatible
withaType 1tankconnectiondevice.TheLPGastank
mustalsohave asafetyreliefdevicethathasadirect
connectionwiththe vaporspace ofthetank.
The tanksupplysystemmustbe arranged forvapor
withdrawal.
The LPGastankmusthave acollartoprotectthe tank
valve. !
DonotstoreaspareLP-Gastank underornear
thisappliance.
Neverfillthetankbeyond80percentfull; and
