Safety and accident prevention regulations
2.1 General safety instructions
Read the entire user manual carefully and follow all safety instructions
before operating the automatic compressed air hose reel. Failure to follow
the warnings and instructions may result in serious injury.
Keep all warning notices and instructions for future reference.
Please keep these operating instructions. Please pass these operating instructions on to the
next person who uses this product.
Do not allow the hose (5) to be retracted in an uncontrolled manner. This may damage the
hose reel (3) and the hose fitting (6). Always guide the hose (5) back into the hose reel (3)
at a steady pace.
Do not open the hose reel (3) housing. The internal spring mechanism is kept under tension
and may be dangerous if it comes loose. If leaks or problems occur when retracting the
hose, please contact our customer services team who will be happy to help and advise you.
Do not leave the air supply switched on if the hose is pressurised when not in use.
Do not exert any force on the hose reel (3) housing. This may damage the housing (3) or
the wall mount (1).
Children should not be allowed to play with or operate the retractable air hose.
Ensure that children do not stand near the hose (5) or the hose reel (3) housing when
unwinding and retracting the hose.

4
Inspect the wall mount (1) regularly for signs of wear.
Always shut off the air supply at the compressor source when the retractable air hose is not
in use, and when unrolling or rolling up the hose (5).
After use, shut off the air source and depressurise the hose (5) before retracting it back into
the drum.
Do not expose the hose (5) to very high or very low temperatures for long periods. High
temperatures can cause the hose to rupture and low temperatures can cause the hose to
lose its flexibility and become difficult to roll up.
Do not immerse the hose reel (3) housing in water to clean it. Keep the hose reel (3)
housing and the hose (5) clean by wiping with a damp cloth when fully extended.
If you don't plan to use the hose reel for a long period of time, it should be stored in a
garage or shed.
When the hose (5) is pulled out to the point where the warning notice can be seen (approx.
1 metre from the end of the hose), do not pull on the hose (5) with excessive force as this
may damage the internal connection to the drum.
Do not try to force the hose (5) to retract in a particular direction. Instead, allow the self-
retracting mechanism to slowly and automatically pull the hose (5) onto the drum.
If the hose (5) is accidentally dropped and rolls itself up, it is strongly recommended that
you pull out the hose (5) to its fullest extent and then gently retract it back into the hose
reel (3) housing. This allows the self-retracting mechanism to correctly roll the hose onto
the drum. Carry the hose reel housing using the integrated carry handle (2).

3.1 Installation
Choose a suitable position on your wall. Mark 2 holes that correspond to the positions of the
holes in the wall mount.
1. Drill 2 holes measuring 8 mm x 45 mm at the marked locations. Ensure that the holes
are the right size for the expansion screw supplied.
2. Insert the expansion screw into the wall. Use a wrench with a diameter of 10 mm to
secure the bracket to the wall with the bolts provided.

Notes on assembly and installation
This drum is equipped with a track lock and a detent. The hose is very easy to pull out and
retract. When you pull out the hose, you can lock it into place at any length. If you want to
retract the hose, pull it out around 3-5 cm further and it will be retracted automatically.
Hold onto the hose while retracting and observe the retraction process until it is complete. If
the hose becomes twisted, you must pull it out to its fullest extent and then retract it to
straighten it.
Please hold onto the hose and observe the retraction process until it is
complete. There is a risk of injuring bystanders if you allow the hose to
retract into the housing on its own.
The weight of the hose reel and the pulling force exerted during use mean
that the wall mount (1) must be attached to a stable surface.

Operating the compressed air hose reel
After use, shut off the air supply at the air source and depressurise the hose
before retracting it.
1. This drum is equipped with a click-clock mechanism. Pull the
hose (5) out to the desired length. When you stop pulling, the hose (5) will stop
automatically.
When the hose is pulled out to the point where the warning notice can be
seen (approx. 1 metre from the end of the hose), do not pull on the hose
with excessive force as this may damage the internal connection to the
drum.
2. To start, turn on the air supply at the air source.
3. After use, shut off the air supply at the air source and depressurise the hose (5) before
retracting it.
4. Pull the hose (5) briefly but firmly to activate the automatic hose retraction. You will feel
the hose (5) begin to retract automatically. You can interrupt this process by pulling the hose
(5) again.
To safely roll up the hose (5), hold the end of the hose (5) and walk towards
the hose reel (3) housing. Do not let go of the hose (5). Letting go of the
hose (5) may cause injury.
Do not try to force the hose (5) to roll up in a particular direction. Instead,
allow the self-retracting mechanism to slowly retract the hose (5) into the
hose reel (3) housing.
If the hose (5) is accidentally dropped and rolls itself up, it is strongly
recommended that you pull out the hose (5) to its fullest extent and then
gently retract it back into the hose reel (3) housing. This allows the self-
retracting mechanism to correctly roll the hose (5) into the drum.
Do not open the hose reel (3) housing at random. This is extremely
dangerous and may cause injury. See image below.

5.2 Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
The hose (5)
cannot be fully
retracted.
1. Shut off the air supply and pull the hose (5) out completely.
2. Release the excess pressure.
3. Slowly retract the hose (5) back into the drum.
4. Check for physical damage (e.g. rattling drum, visible
cracks in the side cover, damaged hose reel box, etc.)
The hose (5) is
stuck and cannot
be pulled out or
retracted.
1. Pull the hose (5) until it is fully extended. This may
require a substantial amount of force.
2. Check whether the hose (5) has come out of the drum. If
yes, please contact our customer services team.
The hose (5) is
difficult to pull out.
Is the hose reel mounted at a sufficient height? The hose reel
should be mounted at a height parallel to the user. If the hose
reel is mounted too low, the hose (5) may rub against the
opening, making it harder to pull out.
The wall mount (1)
keeps detaching
from the wall.
1. Check whether the wall mount (1) has been fitted in the
correct position.
2. Check whether both screws are fixed to the wall.
3. Email a photo to our customer services team.
The hose (5) keeps
becoming kinked.
1. Ensure that the hose reel is mounted at a sufficient height.
If it hangs too low, the hose (5) may rub against the opening
and cause kinks.
2. Always pull out the hose (5) as required. Do not stand by
the hose reel and pull out the hose (5) so that it rests against
your feet, as a kink may occur when the hose is pulled out.
3. Ensure that the hose reel is mounted on the wall so that it
can rotate freely by 180°.
