Operation Requirement
Caution
Before filling water,cleaning product or maintenance,
the appliance must be disconnected from the supply
mains or unplug the power supply.
Don’t touch the hole on the bottom of the unit
(otherwise electric shock may be incurred)
Don’t use dryer to dry it.
Don’t dry it by fire otherwise deformation will be
incurred.
Don’t use petrol,volatile oil,lacquer thinner,putty-
powder or kerosene,(Otherwise electric shock,fire
or damage of the parts may be incurred.)
The unit can’t be washed by water.
(Otherwise,electric shock,fir or malfunction may be
incurred.)
Please wear rubber gloves when wiping and cleaning.
Do not break the tungsten filament during disassembly

Preparation before Operation
● Although the product is placed according to above
requirement, the wall will be also dirty.
The product should be placed far away from the
wall as soon as possible.
● If the product is operated at the same place for a
long time, the around floor and wall may be dirty.
You are suggested to clean them periodically.
● The fan may blow out from the right side, which
is the normal phenomenon.
■ Where the fan will blow at wall, furniture or curtains directly.
(They may be dirty or deformed)
■ With direct sunlight
(Color may be changed)
■ Near the window or outlet of air conditioner is pointing at the
product directly
(Room humidity can’t be displayed normally or the product may be
deformed)
■ Hospital, factory, laboratory and other similar places.
■ Near induction cooker, loudspeaker and other magnetic
places.
(The product can’t be operated normally)
● Please put the product at the place where the
fan can be reached to every corner.
● Put the product at the stable place. Otherwise,
it may increase the vibration of main unit.
● Put the product at 2m away from the TV and
other appliances to prevent interfering them.

3.Installation for Filter of Dust
Collector subassembly
1.Press clasps with hands and remove front
panel.
1).Take out the strainer sub-assy from carbon
box, tear up the sealing tape and write down
the initial operation date on the label.
2).When the blue filter sponge on the strainer
sub-assy is dirty, take a new blue filter sponge
from white box to replace it.
3).Assemble filter into dust collector subassembly.

4).Remove filtering sponge from package and
assemble it in the dust collector.
1).Take out the filter sponge and the install it into
the dust collector..
4.After assembling dust collector, assemble
front panel. Please note that hangers on
the unit shall be assembled firstly and the
position is shown in the below picture.
2.Draw handles of dust collector subassembly
outwards to remove dust collector.
3.Each model has slightly different filter and
filtering sponge. Please refer to the below
for installation.
1).Take out the strainer sub-assy from carbon
box, tear up the sealing tape and write down
the initial operation date on the label.
2).When the blue filter sponge on the strainer
sub-assy is dirty, take a new blue filter sponge
from white box to replace it.

The air cleaning function is available even
without water in the tank.
1.Take out water tank and remove the cap.
2.Fill water into water tank and screw cap up.
●Water exceeding 40℃or with aromatic solvent oil,
chemicals, aromatics or abluent (which may cause
deformation or malfunction);
●Water from water clarifier, basic ion water with
basic ion, water with mineral substance or water
from well (which may multiply mildew or bacteria);
●Fill water in a proper place;
●Fill a little of water into tank firstly and then shake
it for cleaning. After that, fill clean water to tank.

Make sure that cap of water tank has been
screwed up otherwise water will leak.
●Please hold the handle of water tank tightly when
moving the water tank which has been filled with
water.
●Don’t touch the valve in the middle of cap
otherwise water will leak.
3.Install water tank
●Hold the handle and insert water tray into water
tank. Then install water tank in the unit.
If hearing “click” sound, it
means water tray has been
inserted correctly.

● When changing water, pour out water
remaining in water tray, otherwise, fouling or
odor will be produced.
Notice:
● Sensitivity of odor sensor is determined within
2 minutes after plugging in. Therefore, insert
attaching plug when there is no odor.

receiver window in operation.
●The remote control should be used in the effective
range.
●Make sure there is no obstruction between the
remote control and air cleaner, otherwise it will
affect the signal transduction.

Display Function Introduction
Display of Nixie Tube
(1) Ambient humidity is displayed during normal
operation.
(2)Time is displayed when setting timer.
(3) Set humidity is displayed when setting humidity.
(4) Sensitivity degree d1, d2 or d3 of dust is displayed
when setting sensitivity of dust.
(5) Sensitivity degree o1, o2 or o3 of odor is
displayed when setting sensitivity of odor.
Example:

It displays current fan speed. One column
means silence; Three columns mean low
fan speed; Five columns mean medium fan
speed; Seven columns mean high speed.

LED Lamp for Water Shortage
When LED lamp for water shortage blinks,
there is water shortage for water tank. It
reminds user of filling water.
Both conditions below must be met when LED
lamp blinks:
(1) Humidifying mode has been set;
(2) Set humidity is higher than ambient humidity.
LED Lamp for Child Lock
When child lock function is turned on, other
buttons in the unit and remote control will be
locked to prevent child wrongly operating the
unit.
(1) After pressing child lock button in remote
control for 2 seconds, the LED lamp of
child lock will be on and child lock function
is activated. If any other button is pressed,
LED lamp of child lock will blinks and
buzzer will sound.
(2) Press button of child lock for 2 seconds to
release child lock.
Cleaning and Replacement
When LED lamp for cleaning or replacement
is on, it reminds user of cleaning or replacing
filter of the unit.
(1) Cleaning When LED lamp for cleaning
is on, it means unit has operated for
continuous 480 hours. It reminds user of
cleaning cleanable parts of the unit,
such as filter. In standby mode ,When
pressing buttons Sleep+Timer, LED
lamp for cleaning will be off and timing
counter will recount time;
(2) Replacement When LED lamp for
replacement is on, it means the unit has
operated for continuous 2000 hours. It
reminds user of replacing filter so as to
keep good performances on dust
removal; In standby mode,When pressing
buttons Sleep+ Timer, LED lamp for
replacement is off and timing counter will
recount time.

The sensor built-in can sense quality of air and change of odor. Through qty of LED lamps, air
quality and odor content can be known.
<LED lamp for Dust Sensor >
■ In below conditions, the LED lamps will be
on for the first second which are irrelevant to
air quality.
① Operation after installing front panel

■ When dust sensor lags in response, please
revise setting of sensitivity degree of sensor.
<LED lamp for Odor Sensor >
■In below conditions, the LED lamps will be
on for the first second which are irrelevant
to air quality.
① Operation after installing front panel
② Operation after plugging attaching plug.
■In first 2 minutes after turning on the unit,
the odor sensor is pre-heating. In that
case, odor sensor may not respond.
■Except alkaline air, the sensor may not
respond to some odor, like odor of pet or
garlic.
■Because people have different feelings
about odor, someone may still feel there
is odor when Green LED lamp is on. In
that case, please manually switch fan
speed to high speed.
※Setting for Sensitivity Degree of Dust Sensor
①In standby mode;
②Press SLEEP+ AUTO buttons simultaneously for over 1 seconds and then release them;
③The unit enters adjustment mode for sensitivity degree of dust sensor. In that case, d1, d2
or d3 will be displayed. In initial setting, d1 will be displayed. Number 1, 2,3 means sensitivity
degree. Number 1 means lowest sensitivity degree, number 2 means medium sensitivity
degree and number 3 means highest sensitivity degree.
④Press +/- button to adjust sensitivity degree.
⑤Quit: if there is no operation for 3 seconds, the system will keep the current setting of
sensitivity degree and quit the setting mode.
※ Setting for Sensitivity Degree of Odor Sensor
①In standby mode;
②Press FAN + HUMIDIFY buttons simultaneously for over 1 seconds and then
release them;
③The unit enters adjustment mode for sensitivity degree of odor sensor. In that case, o1, o2
or o3 will be displayed. In initial setting, o1 will be displayed. Number 1, 2,3 means sensitivity
degree. Number 1 means lowest sensitivity degree, number 2 means medium sensitivity
degree and number 3 means highest sensitivity degree.
④Press +/- button to adjust sensitivity degree.
⑤Quit: if there is no operation for 3 seconds, the system will keep the current setting of
sensitivity degree and quit the setting mode.

For turning on or turning off the unit. Press
this button once to turn on the unit and
press it again to turn off the unit.

Adjust fan speed of the unit and the
sequence of fan speed is:

Press this button to turn on humidify mode.
LED lamp for humidify mode will be on.
Press this button again to cancel humidify
function and LED lamp for humidify will be
off; In humidify mode, press button "+ "or "–
to adjust set humidity.
Press auto button to enter auto mode.
LED lamp for auto mode will be on and
other functions will quit. Based on air
quality sensed by sensor, the unit will
automatically adjust function and fan
speed of the unit. Press this button again
to cancel auto mode and LED lamp will be
off.
Press this button to enter sleep mode.
LED lamp for sleep will be on and other
functions will quit. Based on air quality
sensed by sensor, the unit will be
automatically adjusted. Press this button
again to cancel sleep mode and LED lamp
for sleep mode will be off.
When the unit is turned on, press timer
button to activate timer off and the LED
lamp for timer will be on. Press button + or
– to set time for turning off the unit. When
pressing timer button again, LED lamp for
timer will be off and timer will be canceled.
In standby status, press timer button to
activate timer on and LED lamp for timer
will be on. Press button + or – to set time
for turning on the unit. When pressing timer
button again, LED lamp for timer will be off
and timer will be canceled.
Press button of electrostatic dust removal to
activate dust removal function and LED lamp
for dust removal will be on. (This button is
not available for model SP--220A).

off, press sleep and timer buttons simultaneously
to clear time of timing counter.
1. When accumulated time for cleaning and
replacing lter doesn’t reach, they will be cleared
after resetting time.
2. when one kind of accumulated time reaches,
it will be cleared by resetting time. And the other
one will keep accumulating time.
3. When both of them are reached, they will be
cleared after resetting time. After clearing, LED
lamps on front panel will be on for 2 seconds.

When the unit is operating and this button
is pressed, the unit will automatically adjust
negative ion, electrostatic dust removal
device, switch of humidifying function and fan
speed according to sensed air quality and
ambient relative humidity.
Fan speed button will be invalid in this mode.
During operation, press this button and fan
speed will switch according to the sequence
below. LED lamp for fan speed will change
accordingly.
Silence →Low →Med. →High
When the unit operates at humidifying
mode, press button "+" or" –" to adjust set
humidity. When the unit is operating, in timer
setting mode, press button "+ "or "–" to
adjust time for turning off the unit. When the
unit is standby, in timer setting mode, press
button"+" or "–"to adjust time for turning on
the unit.
When the unit is operating and this button is
pressed, the unit will enter this mode. Press
this button again to cancel this mode.
When the unit is energized, press this
button to enter timer setting. Press + or – to
adjust time of timer and set range is 0~24
hours. Press this button again to cancel the
setting.
When the unit is operating, timer is set for
turning off the unit. If the unit is turned off,
timer is set for turning on the unit.
When the unit is operating and this button
is pressed, the unit will automatically adjust
negative ion, electrostatic dust removal
device and humidifying function based on
sensed air quality and ambient relative
humidity. Fan speed will switch between
silence and low speed.
Fan speed button will be invalid in this
mode.
When lock is off, press this button for over
2 seconds and relevant LED lamp will be
on. The controller will be locked. When lock
is on, press this button for over 2 seconds
again to cancel lock.Lock is off as default
once the unit is energized after power failure
occurs.
When the unit is operating, press this button
to turn on electrostatic mode. Press this
button again to quit this mode. (This button
is not available for model SP-220A.)
Press this button in standby status and then
the unit will start operation. Press this button
again and the unit will stop operation.

Maintenance for Water Tray and
Filter Sub-assy
1.Remove of water tray and filter sub-assy
(1) Remove water tray (See P9).
(2) Pull out the water tray and remove the filter
sub-assy.
●Hold the bottom concave of water tray and pull out.
●Slowly pull out the water tray as there’s water in the
tray.
●Hold up the bottom of water tray when moving it.

② Press it until a
“crack” is heard.
Assemble the water tray and filter as the picture
shows direction.
●Assemble the water tray and filter sub-assy
as original sample.
Incorrect assembly might cause operation
failure.

●Wipe the scale with soft cloth or brush dipping
with water or Citric acid warm water, then wash
with water.
Requirement
● Do not remove the floater and degerming agent
box.
●The unit cannot operate normally without the
floater and the water will be with odour soon
without the degerming agent box.
● For different water quality and environment, the
water in water tray will be color changed
because of the scale. Maintain the water tray as
above stated.

The water tray and filter will get dirt and peculiar odor, do maintain periodically.

● Wash the filter with moderate force to avoid
deforming of the filter.
● Wipe with soft sponge.
● Never forcedly scrub with brush.
● Wash with clean water thoroughly to avoid
accident or color changed.
● The water tray could be used in wet after
maintenance.
● Dry out the water tray and assemble it when the
unit will not be used for a long time.
When there’s peculiar smell or dirt
Press to wash with clean water or neutral abluent of
40℃for 30~60mins.
●The abluent volume used should be as the
specified.
●The color changed caused by abluent does not
affect the unit operation.
●Wash the filter thoroughly after press.
Press to wash it with warm water mixed with
Citric acid (around 40℃) or clear water for 2h.
Using volume: 20g Citric acid mixed with 3L
water.
Please extend the press time when there’s scale.
● Wash the filter thoroughly after press.
● Citric acid could be bought at drug store.
Requirement
Slide along the frame (upper) arrow direction, mark
with “ △”, remove the frame (upper) and the filter
screen.
(Press to wash the frame with clear/warm water if the frame
cannot be disassembled.)
● Match the bulge of lower frame and filter screen hole.
(Incorrect assembly might cause water leakage)
2. Assemble the new filter screen onto the
frame (lower)
● Both sides of the filter screen are the same.
3.Upper frame and shaft should be
assembled as original sample.
① Match the" △"at upper frame (till a “click” is
heard)
② Insert the shaft and rotate right.
● For different environment, the dirt might be
different.
It is advised to maintain when there’s peculiar
smell or the humidifying volume decreased.
