SAFETY GUIDE
The Greenmade® HEAT MACHINE™ provides direct warmth that is adjustable to your
desired comfort level. The parabolic design efficiently focuses heat without having to
heat the entire room. Lightweight and equipped with Safety Features including Automatic
Safety Switch, Alarm Light, Warning Alarm, and Automatic Reset Button.
Efficient and portable • Adjustable heat settings
Heats to full power in under five seconds • Easy carry handle
How your HEAT MACHINE™ works
• The Greenmade®HEAT MACHINE™is designed to focus
heat directly to you, not to the entire room, keeping room
temperature consistent while reaching a level of personal
comfort.
• The HEAT MACHINE™uses a ceramic heating element
and features a 16” all aluminum parabolic radiant
reflector, potentially reaching up to 95% of the heat
radiating area. The HEAT MACHINE™also features a 57
line high grade steel grill (Fig C), and a heavy duty
electrical cord (Fig D).
• Use the POWER KNOB to turn power ON or OFF. (Fig A)
• To control the heat output to your preference, adjust the
POWER KNOB from MIN to MAX.
The HEAT MACHINE™ is equipped with the following
SAFETY FEATURES:
1. The AUTOMATIC SAFETY SWITCH (Fig B) offers tip-over
protection. In case the heater is tipped over, the
AUTOMATIC SAFETY SWITCH will turn the heater OFF.
2. The WARNING ALARM is designed to sound a warning
sound when the heater has tipped over, is not on a level
surface, or is moved while the power is ON.
3.
The ALARM LIGHT will blink if the heater is tipped over, is
not on a level surface, or is moved while the power is ON.
4. The AUTOMATIC RESET THERMOSTAT, located in the
top part of the reflector, provides some protection from
overheating. If the heater overheats, the AUTOMATIC
RESET THERMOSTAT will turn the heater OFF. After the
heater cools down, it will turn the heater ON automatically.
5. The THERMAL FUSE, located behind the top part of
reflector, offers some additional overheating protection.
If the heater overheats due to an external factor or the
AUTOMATIC RESET THERMOSTAT fails, the THERMAL
FUSE will cut off power to the heater.
How to position your HEAT MACHINE™
• Place your HEAT MACHINE™with the front facing where
heat is desired.
• Place your HEAT MACHINE™at least three feet away from
all persons. Increasing distance reduces effectiveness.
Adjust distance to your personal preference, up to ten feet.
• Ensure that there aren’t any objects between you and the
HEAT MACHINE™. Blockages may absorb heat, inhibiting
direct heat to you. Blockages may also create hazards.
• Your HEAT MACHINE™is a personal heater, not a space
heater. It is not designed to heat a large, open room.
Cleaning and storing your
HEAT MACHINE™
• Clean occasionally and make sure dust does not
accumulate on the heater.
• Only clean while the heater is OFF and unplugged
and cold.
• To clean, use a soft, slightly moistened/damp cloth to
wipe down exterior surfaces only.
• You may use a mild detergent. Do not use a harsh or
abrasive cleaner.
• Do not use liquid sprays, including water and other
cleaners, on any part of the heater.
• Do not submerge or pour liquid on the heater.
• Store in a dry location, wrapping the cord around the
base (Fig D).
