1. Funktionsbeschreibung
Die Infrarot-Electronic sendet unsichbares, gepulstes Licht aus. Wird dieses Licht von einem Benutzer
mindestens 10 s (= Mindestverweilzeit) reflektiert und von der Elektronik wieder empfangen, wird das
Magnetventil ca.1 Sekunde nach dem Zurücktreten des Benutzers angesteuert. Das Magnetventil öffnet
und das Urinal-Becken wird gespült.
Die Reichweite ist von den Reflexionseigenschaften des Objektes abhängig.
2. Einstellmodus
Im Einstellmodus kann die Spülmenge verändert (s. Spülmengeneinstellung) und der Erfassungsbereich
der Anlage überprüft werden. Im Einstellmodus entfällt die Mindestverweilzeit von 10 s.
Der Einstellmodus wird folgendermaßen aktiviert:
- Steckverbindung der Spannungsversorgung zum Elektronikmodul trennen
- 5 s warten
- Steckverbindung der Spannungsversorgung zum Elektronikmodul zusammenstecken
Die LED im Infrarot-Fenster leuchtet auf (on), wenn bei Annäherung an die Anlage der Erfassungs-
bereich erreicht wird. Eine Verstellung des Erfassungsbereiches ist über die optionale Fernbedienung
möglich.
3 Minuten nach dem Anlegen der Spannungsversorgung schaltet die Anlage automatisch in den
Betriebsmodus. Die o. g. Funktionen entfallen.
3. Spülmengeneinstellung
Die werkseitige Einstellung der Spülmenge beträgt ca. 3 Liter bei 3 bar Fließdruck. Ist eine Veränderung/
Verstellung der Werkseinstellung erforderlich, kann die Spülmenge verändert werden (Bilder 13 - 21).
Ablauf Spülmengeneinstellung
Bild 13 -15: Steckverbindung zwischen Elektronikmondul und Spannungsversorgung trennen und nach
5 s wieder zusammenstecken.
Bild 16: Hand in einem Abstand von ca. 5 - 10 cm vor das Sensorfenster halten (LED blinkt schnell).
Bild 17: Nach ca. 5 Sekunden geht die Kontrolllampe automatisch aus.
Bild 18: Hand aus dem Erfassungsbereich (min. 60 cm) entfernen.
Bild 19: Hand wieder in einem Abstand von 5 - 10 cm vor das Sensorfenster halten.
LED fängt an zu blinken:
2 x Blinken (ca. 2 Liter)
Pause
3 x Blinken (ca. 3 Liter = Werkseinstellung)
Pause
usw. bis
7 x Blinken (ca. 7 Liter)
Bild 20: Nach einer Blinkfolge (gewünschte Spülmenge) die Hand wegnehmen. Die Anlage spült
anschließend mit der eingestellten Spülmenge. Die ausgewählte Spülmenge wird durch
Blinken angezeigt.

automatisch in den normalen Betriebsmodus)
Wenn nicht: LSpülmenge neu einstellen.

1. Functional characteristics
The infra-red-electronic system emits invisible pulsed light. This light is reflected off a user for a minimum
of 10 s (minimum delay time) and is then received again by the electronic system, the solenoid valve is
actuated approx. 1 second afer the user steps away. The solenoid valve opens and the urinal bowl is
flushed.
The range of sensitivity is dependent on the reflective properties of the objekt.
2. Setting mode
In the setting mode, the flow volume can be changed (see flow volume setting) and the system’s detection
zone can be checked. The 10 s minimum delay time is not available in the setting mode.
The setting mode is activated as follows:
- Disconnect the power supply to the electronic module.
- Wait 5 s
- Reconnect the power supply to the electronic module.
The LED in the infra-red window illuminates (on) when the system’s detection zone is reached as result of the
system being approached. It is possible also to adjust the detection zone via the optional remote control.
The system automatically switches to operating mode 3 minutes after the power supply has been installed.
The functions described above are no longer available.
3. Flow volume setting
The factory set flow volume is approx. 3 litres at 3 bar flow pressure.
The flow volume can be changed if it is necessary to make an adjustment to the factory settings (figs. 13 - 21)
Procedure for flow volume setting
Fig. 13 - 15: Disconnect the power supply to the electronic module and wait 5 s before reconnecting it.
Fig. 16: Hold hand at distance of approx. 5 - 10 cm in front of the sensor window (LED flashes quickly).
Fig. 17: The indicator lamp automatically goes out after approx. 5 s.
Fig. 18: Remove hand from the detection zone (at least 60 cm).
Fig. 19: Hold hand in front of the sensor window again at a distance of 5 - 10 cm.
LED starts to flash:
2 flashes (approx. 2 litres)
Pause
3 flashes (approx. 3litres = factory setting)
Pause
etc. until
7 flashes (approx. 7litres)
Fig. 20: Remove hand after a flashing sequence (desired flow volume). The system then flushes
with the set flow volume afterwards. The selected flow volume is indicated via the number
of LED flashes.
Fig. 21: Check the flow volume. If the flow volume is ok Jwait > 20 s (the system automatically
switches
to normal operating mode).
If not L: Set the flow volume again.
