Caution! Risk of fire if installation is
not carried out correctly and failure
of the interlocking, since the GENO
®

EWT-L blower air preheater can reach
a housing temperature of max. 90 °C
under extreme circumstances. For
wall mounting on an inflammable
building material, fit a heat-resistant
plastic plate between the GENO
®
-EWT-
L blower air preheater and the wall.
The mains cable must be connected
to a ground fault circuit interrupter
(30 mA) and a slow-blow fuse 10 A.

General
information
Our systems must be installed by an
authorise sanitary/heating and electri-
cal company. Check the components
for transport damage. The GENO®-
EWT-L blower air preheater must be
protected against frost. Do not install
PVC lines in the immediate vicinity of
significant heat sources.
1 | Intendeduse The GENO®-EWT-L blower air pre-
heater is used for electrical heating of
the drawn-in outside air in private or
public swimming pools, Jacuzzis, etc.,
and is only allowed to be operated
when the blower is running.

3 | Installation
requirements
Please observe local installation direc-
tives, general guidelines and technical
specifications. The installation loca-
tion should be easily accessible, must
not be prone to fire or at risk of
flooding. Establish the connection
with exposure to stress.
4 | Scope of
supply
GENO®-EWT-L blower air preheater
made of stainless steel incl. control
thermostat, flexible hose connec-
tions, with PVC nipples, wall fas-
tening materials and operation man-
ual.
5 | Installation
Install flexible hose connections on
the GENO®-EWT-L blower air pre-
heater. Installation is made in the full
flow between the pool and blower.
The installation should be > 0.3 m (A)
above the water surface (B), and is al-
lowed to be horizontal or vertical
(Fig. 2 and Fig.3).

If installed below the water surface
(B), a pipe loop approx. 1 m (A) above
the water surface is required (Fig. 4).

Note: Pay attention to the flow direc-
tion, no shut-off valves should be in-
stalled between the GENO®-EWT-L
blower air preheater, client's blower
and swimming pool.
Caution! Measures must be taken in
the control technology to ensure that
the GENO®-EWT-L blower air pre-
heater will always be switched off
when the blower is at a standstill.
