SAFETY ______________________________
Please note the following instructions
when using the appliance:
7The appliance is designed for
domestic use only.
7Never use the appliance in the
bath, shower or over a wash
basin filled with water; nor should
it be operated with wet hands.
7Do not immerse the appliance in
water or let it come into contact
with water, even during cleaning.
7If the appliance is used in the
bathroom, it is essential that you
unplug it after use, as any water
close to the appliance can still
pose a hazard, even if the appli-
ance is switched off.
7Do not use the appliance near
water in bathtubs, wash basins or
other vessels.
7If not already in use, installing
a residual current-operated
protective device (RCD) is recom-
mended for additional protection
with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30 mA
in the electrical circuit of your
bathroom. Ask your plumber for
advice.
7Never place the appliance on
soft cushions or blankets during
operation.
7Ensure that the air-induction and
output openings are not covered
during operation.
7The appliance is equipped with
an overheating protection system.
7Unplug the appliance after use.
Do not disconnect the plug by
pulling on the cord.
7Never use the appliance if it or
the power cord is visibly dam-
aged.
7If the power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, a service centre or a
similarly qualified person to avoid
any danger of electrical shock.
7Keep the appliance out of the
reach of children.

7This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children
without supervision.
7Never open the appliance under
any circumstance. No warranty
claims are accepted for damage
caused by improper handling.
7Check if the mains voltage on the
type plate (on the handle of the
appliance) corresponds to your
local mains supply. The only way
to disconnect the appliance from
the mains is to unplug it.
7Never wrap the power cord
around the appliance.
7Never use the appliance in or
near to combustible, inflammable
places and materials and furni-
ture. Do not let the appliance
come into contact with or become
covered by inflammable materi-
als e.g. curtains, textiles, walls,
etc. Please make sure that the
appliance is always kept a safe
distance away from flammable
materials and furniture.
7The nozzle becomes very hot in
usage. Do not touch it with your
bare hands. Avoid any contact
of the skin with the hot parts. Do
not allow the nozzle to come into
contact with your face, neck or
head.
7A warm flow of air is required to
achieve a perfect result. Please
note that a metallised brush can
become extremely hot during pro-
longed or intensive use. To avoid
injury, please adjust the usage
time of the appliance to the acces-
sory being used.

OPERATION__________________________
Caution
7 Check that the mains voltage on
the type plate (on the handle of
the appliance) corresponds to
your local mains supply.
7 The nozzle becomes very hot in
during use. Do not touch it with
your bare hands. Avoid any con-
tact between the skin and the hot
parts. Do not allow the nozzle to
come into contact with your face,
neck or head.

to achieve perfect results. Please

injury, please adapt the usage
time of the appliance to the acces-
sory being used.
7 Place the appliance on a solid,
flat, heat resistant surface. Do not
place the appliance on any soft
or uneven surfaces such as car-
pets, rugs or bedding and never
cover.
1Towel dry your hair thoroughly
after washing.
2Attach the concentrator nozzle A
on the hairdryer and align it as
required.
3Plug the power cord Finto the
wall socket.
4Turn on the appliance with the
switch Eand set the blower level.
5Set the temperature level with the
switch D.
6While drying, you can interrupt
the hot air flow, by pressing and
holding down C(Cool Shot
switch).
Note
7 The Cool Shot switch interrupts the
hot air with a flow of cold air. This
allows you to fix your hairstyle
better and more lastingly.
7After use, switch off the appliance
with the button Eand unplug
the power cord Ffrom the wall
socket.
Caution
7 Never wind the power cord
around the appliance, as this
can result in damage. Check the
power cord and the appliance
regularly for visible damage.

Cleaning and care
1Switch off the appliance with the
button Eand unplug power cord
Ffrom the wall socket.
2Clean the appliance only with
a damp, soft cloth. Remember
to clean the air inletgrille Boc-
casionally with a soft brush to
remove hairs and dust. Take off
the air inlet grille and clean the
filter at regular intervals. Pull back
the grille to do this.
Caution
7 Never put the appliance or power
cord in water or any other liquid.
Do not use any cleaning agents.
Note
7 Before using the appliance after
cleaning, dry all parts carefully
using a dry soft towel.
Storage
If you do not plan to use the ap-
pliance for a long period of time,
please store it carefully.
Make sure that it is unplugged, has
completely cooled and is completely
dry.
Do not wrap the power cord around
the appliance.
Keep it in a cool, dry place.
Make sure that the appliance is kept
out of the reach of children.
