Connecting Your Equipment
There are several ways of connecting the STB to your TV, VCR and/or Hi-Fi SYSTEM. Consult your local
supplier for assistance in setting-up your system that is best suited to your requirements.
How to connect your STB to various systems
1. Connect STB to a TV set - S-Video, A/V
Connect your STB to a TV set with RCA, if your TV set is
equipped for it.
Alternatively you can use A/V, S-Video jacks.
Note! 1 : The design of the Rear Panel may be changed without any notice in advance.
Note! 2 : Connect the cable with input jack on STB properly shown in the picture.
2. Connect STB to a TV set - Component
Component video separates the video into Y (Yellow),
P
b(Blue), and Pr(Red) for enhanced video quality.
Be sure to match the component video and audio
connections.
Each external input source device has a different back panel
configuration.
When connecting an external device, match the color of the
connection terminal to the cable.
3. Connect STB to a TV set - HDMI, DVI
HDMI, or high-definition multimedia interface, is a
next-generation interface that enables the transmission of
digital audio and video signals using a single cable without
compression.
“Multimedia interface” is a more accurate name for it
especially because it allows multiple channels of digital audio
(5.1 channels). When connecting via HDMI, you do not need
to connect Audio Cables. You only need to connect Audio
cables when connecting via HDMI/DVI.
