Turning your LCD TV into a USB video recorder: you can
record films and play them back, all without an external
DVD recorder – this is USB recording. You only need a
Grundig LCD TV with USB recording functions, a suitable
USB stick or an external hard disk. Whether you want one-
touch recording of the TV channel currently on air, a pre-set
recording, or the time-shift function – many Grundig LCD TVs

LED backlight technology is a modern version of illumination in LCD monitors. Grundig uses “Edge LED” technology, with small
LEDs arranged on all four sides of the monitor. They illuminate the entire surface of the panel. The result is a picture display
true to nature, in brilliant colours and with outstanding contrast. Using LEDs in LCD TVs also reduces energy consumption and
allows the housing of these models to be incredibly slim. Another advantage is the long service life of the LEDs used.

DivX Plus HD is the new, state-of-the-art standard for
compressing HD videos. Many video-on-demand platforms

200 Hz technology.
The 200 Hz technology quadruples the number of pictures from
50 to 200 fields per second. Additional intermediate pictures
can be generated between two original pictures. This means
that each field is only shown for around five milliseconds. The
result is outstanding, blur-free pictures with perfectly fluid
motion at all times.
Television stations broadcast 50 fields per second.
The 200 Hz technology generates additional fields and inserts them between
two original pictures. This results in outstanding pictures and completely fluid
motion for sport scenes and ticker text, for example.
