OPERATION________________________________
Prior to maintenance, disconnect the appliance
or turn the main switch off or remove the fuse
that supplies the hood to turn it off.
7 Clean your hood, which is made of stainless
steel, with cleaning agents designed specially
for this material.
7 Do not use metal rubbing materials (wire
wool) and abrasive materials (brushes, hard
side of the scouring pad etc.).
7 Dry off your hood with a lint-free cloth.
7 When sterilizers, products made with carbon
steel and other materials containing chloride
contact with stainless steel this may cause
black shadows, corrosion and permanent
stains.

7 The filters must be cleaned every 2 months of
operation, or more frequently for particularly
heavy usage, and can be washed in a dish-
washer.
7 Remove the filters one at a time holding them
up with one hand and pulling the handle
downwards with the other hand at the same
time.
7 Wash the filters, taking care not to bend them.
Allow them to dry before refitting.
7 When refitting the filters, make sure that the
handle is visible on the outside.

Replacing The Activated
Charcoal Filter
7 The filter is not washable and cannot be
regenerated, and must be replaced approxi-
mately every 4 months of operation, or more
frequently for particularly heavy usage.
7 Remove the metal grease filters.
7 Remove the saturated activated carbon filter
by releasing the fixing hooks.
7 Fit the new filter by hooking it into its seating.
7 Refit the metal grease filters.

Do not look directly at the light through optical
devices (binoculars, magnifying glasses…).
