•Before starting any work, the pulley block must be checked whether all components work properly. Check especially the
perfect state of the snap hooks preventing hook self-release from means used for load fastening (ropes, rings, transport
loops, etc.) when lifting the load.
•Loads fastened contrary to regulations that may fall down must not be lifted.
•All lifting actions may only be performed using appropriate fasteners (ropes, rings, transport loops, etc.) and under appropri-
ate provisions and standards applicable in the place of work.
•Putting the pulley block into operation with an inappropriately balanced fall line is not allowed.
•A pulley block with a lifted load must not be left unattended.
•The loading capacity of the carrying elements must be checked before working with the pulley block.
•Please contact your authorised dealer and avoid any optional repairs if the equipment is not working properly.
•To enable timely intervention in case of imminent danger, the operator must operate the pulley block from a position allowing
monitoring of the whole place of work.
•The pulley block must not be modified in any way; lifting devices supplied along with the pulley block to be used only.

abnormal sound when working.
Additional inspection
Not only a visual check is necessary for the braking system. Test the brakes as
follows:
•Hung the load
•Lift the load
•Lift and lower the load to various heights
•Check whether load holding in any position is ensured
Brake adjustment (see picture 1)

Servicing
Perform any servicing work after using and before storing the equipment. Servicing and repairs may only be executed by trained
professional staff.
(a) Clean the chain block thoroughly.
(b) Lubricate the chain block properly at all times. Lubricate the load hook chain and joint with oil.
(c) Protect the chain block against rain and moisture when storing the equipment.
Special attention must be paid to servicing when installing the chain block outdoors.
Chain and hook
The load hook and chain are made out of alloy steel and treated
thermally. Correction welding and thermal treatment on the load hook
and chain is strictly prohibited. This would result in changed material
properties.
(a) The chain life is sufficiently dimensioned. Nevertheless,
the life is shortened due to external influences.
If a length of 21 chain links given in table 1 is exceeded,
the chain must necessarily be replaced.
(b) The load hook gets deformed when handled unprofessionally
or when overloaded. The load hook must immediately be replaced
if the g dimension reaches the limit value specified in table 2.
Safety will not be guaranteed if the above-mentioned provision
is not provided.
