Einleitung
Damit Sie an Ihrem neuen Automatik Kopfschweissschild
möglichst lange Freude haben, bitten wir Sie, die
Betriebsanweisung und die beiliegenden
Sicherheitshinweise vor Ingebrauchnahme sorgfältig
durchzulesen. Ferner wird empfohlen, die
Gebrauchsanweisung für den Fall aufzubewahren, dass
Sie sich die Funktionen des Artikels später nochmals ins
Gedächtnis rufen möchten.
Im Rahmen ständiger Produktweiterentwicklung
behalten wir uns vor zur Verbesserung technische
Änderungen umzusetzen.
Bei diesem Dokument handelt es sich um die
Originalbetriebsanweisung.

Nehmen Sie das Automatik Kopfschweissschild 4/9-13 aus
der Transportverpackung und prüfen Sie die
Vollständigkeit und das Vorhandensein folgender Teile:

Sollten Teile des Lieferumfangs fehlen oder beschädigt
sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler.
Gerätebeschreibung
Extrem leichter Helm - trotzdem extrem stabil und
langlebig. Der Kunststoff hält hohen thermischen sowie
mechanischen Beanspruchungen stand.
Ausstattung:
Einstellbare stufenlose Abdunkelung von DIN 9 bis 13.
Geeignet für alle Schweißverfahren mit unterschiedlicher
Helligkeit. Großer Auto-Abdunklungsfilter (Größe
90x45mm). Die Stromversorgung des Schweißhelmes ist
durch handelsübliche Batterien gewährleistet. Stufenlos
einstellbares Kopfband mit gepolstertem Stirnband.
Manuelles Einschalten mit Auto-Off Funktion. Einstellbare
Empfindlichkeit des Filters.

Dieses Gerät entspricht den einschlägigen
Sicherheitsbestimmungen. Reparaturen dürfen nur durch
eine Fachkraft ausgeführt werden, indem
Originalersatzteile verwendet werden, andernfalls können
Unfälle für den Benutzer entstehen.

Gerätespezifische Sicherheitshinweise
Benutzen Sie das Gerät erst nachdem Sie die
Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam gelesen haben.
1. Das Automatik Kopfschweissschild bietet
keinen Schutz gegen starke Einwirkungen,
wie beispielsweise von Sprengstoffen,
Bruchstücken von scheuernden Scheiben
oder Schleifrädern.
2. Das Automatik Kopfschweissschild bietet
keinen Schutz gegen Spritzer von
gefährlichen oder korrosiven Flüssigkeiten.
3. Das Automatik Kopfschweissschild eignet
sich nicht für autogenes Schweißen,
Laserschweißen, oder Schweißarbeiten mit
einer sehr niedrigen Amperezahl.
4. Niemals mit dem Automatik
Kopfschweissschild schweißen, ohne zuvor
eine entsprechende Schulung durch
qualifiziertes Personal erhalten zu haben.
5. Die elektronische Kassette des Automatik
Kopfschweissschild niemals öffnen oder
manipulieren, für daraus resultierende
Schäden oder Verletzungen haftet der
Hersteller nicht.
6. Den Arbeitsplatz niemals mit
eingeschaltetem Automatik
Kopfschweissschild verlassen, es könnte
unerwartet verdunkeln und Unfälle
verursachen.
7. Das Automatik Kopfschweissschild niemals
Hitze aussetzen.
8. Arbeitstemperatur: -5°C - +55°C
9. Lagertemperatur: -20°C - +70°C
10. Tragen Sie beim Schweißen unbedingt die
geeignete Sicherheitskleidung:
Sicherheitsschuhe, Arbeitshandschuhe,
Augenschutz, und eng anliegende Kleidung.
11. Prüfen Sie die Funktion des Automatik
Kopfschweissschildes vor jeder
Inbetriebnahme. Insbesondere die korrekte
Verdunklung während des Schweißens muss
gewährleistet sein.
12. Sollte das Automatik Kopfschweissschild
oder die elektronische Kassette beschädigt
sein, darf mit dem Automatik
Kopfschweissschild nicht mehr gearbeitet
werden. Verletzungsgefahr! Zerkratze oder
beschädigte Sichtscheiben müssen
unverzüglich ausgetauscht werden.
13. Mit Mineralfiltern verstärkte Sichtscheiben
dürfen nur zusammen mit der geeigneten
Hinterlegscheibe eingesetzt werden.
14. Arbeiten nur bei ausreichenden
Lichtverhältnissen bzw. ausreichender
Beleuchtung.
15. Beachten Sie alle in der Anleitung
aufgeführten Sicherheitshinweise.
16. Teile des Automatik Kopfschweissschildes,
die in Kontakt mit der Haut des Trägers
kommen können, können bei empfindlichen
Personen allergische Reaktionen
hervorrufen.

Training
Lesen Sie die Betriebs- und Wartungsanleitung sorgfältig
durch. Machen Sie sich gründlich mit den
Steuerungseinrichtungen und dem ordnungsgemäßen
Gebrauch des Gerätes vertraut. Sie müssen wissen, wie
das Gerät arbeitet, und wie die Steuerungseinrichtungen
schnell ausgeschaltet werden können. Lassen Sie niemals
Kinder mit dem Gerät arbeiten. Lassen Sie niemals
Erwachsene ohne ordnungsgemäße Einweisung mit dem
Gerät arbeiten. Halten Sie den Arbeitsbereich frei von
sämtlichen Personen, insbesondere kleinen Kindern, und
Haustieren. Seien Sie vorsichtig, um zu vermeiden, dass
Sie ausrutschen oder hinfallen.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das von Ihnen erworbene Automatik Kopfschweissschild
4/9-13 ist ausschließlich für den folgenden Gebrauch
zugelassen:
Schutz von Kopf und Augen bei Schweißarbeiten mit
folgenden Verfahren:

xMIG-Schweißen Fe
xMIG-Schweißen Al
xWIG-Schweißen
xCO2 MAG-Schweißen

xPlasma-Schweißen
Das Automatik Kopfschweissschild eignet sich nicht für
autogenes Schweißen, Laserschweißen, oder
Schweißarbeiten mit einer sehr niedrigen Amperezahl.
Es dürfen mit diesem Produkt keine anderen Arbeiten
verrichtet werden, als die Arbeiten, für die die Maschine
gebaut ist und die in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben
werden.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden
oder Verletzungen haftet der Hersteller nicht. Bitte
beachten Sie das unsere Geräte bestimmungsgemäß
nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz konstruiert sind.
Vor der Anwendung
Bevor Sie die Ausstattung verwenden, kontrollieren Sie
bitte, ob alle Komponenten des Automatik
Kopfschweissschild korrekt befestigt sind.
Stellen Sie das Automatik Kopfschweissschild im Hinblick
auf eine komfortable und perfekte Nutzung auf die
erforderlichen Abmessungen ein. Stellen Sie hierfür die
Bänder des Automatikschutzschildes über die Schraube
auf der Rückseite und die jeweiligen Löcher des
Kopfbandes ein. Der vordere Teil mit dem Schweißband
muss auf der Stirn zentriert bleiben.
Legen Sie die mitgelieferten Batterien ein, Achten Sie auf
Pluspol/Minuspol.
Entfernen Sie vor der Erstbenutzung unbedingt die
Schutzfolien des Automatik Kopfschweissschildes,
andernfalls kann die automatische Verdunkelung nicht
korrekt funktionieren.
Setzen Sie das Automatik Kopfschweissschild keinen
Stößen aus, lassen Sie es niemals auf den Boden fallen
und setzen Sie es niemals Hitze aus.
Wahl der Schutzstufe
Es gibt 5 Schutzstufen (9 bis 13), die während des
Schweißprozesses mittels des äußeren Potentiometers,
das sich an der Seite des Helmes befindet, eingestellt
werden. Wenn der Schweißprozess gestartet wird, wird
der Helm automatisch verdunkelt. Sollte dies nicht der Fall
sein, kontrollieren Sie bitte ob die Filterkassette korrekt
eingeschaltet ist. Bitte beachten Sie den
Abdunklungsleitfaden (Abb. 3)
Wahl der Empfindlichkeit
Mit Hilfe des Drehknopfes, der sich im oberen Teil der
Filterkassette befindet, kann die Empfindlichkeit eingestellt
werden. Dadurch wird vermieden, dass der
Schweißprozess durch Veränderung der Helligkeit in der
Umgebung negativ beeinflusst wird.
LOW
Empfohlen für Schweißarbeiten mit einer hohen
Amperezahl und für Prozesse in Umgebungen mit sehr
viel Licht.
HIGH
Empfohlen für Schweißarbeiten mit einer niedrigen
Amperezahl und für Prozesse in Umgebungen mit wenig
Licht. Auch für permanente Lötarbeiten, wie z.B. TIG-
Löten empfohlen.
Gewährleistung
Die Gewährleistung erstreckt sich ausschließlich auf
Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehler
zurückzuführen sind. Bei Geltendmachung eines Mangels
im Sinne der Gewährleistung ist der original Kaufbeleg mit
Verkaufdatum beizufügen. Von der Gewährleistung
ausgeschlossen sind unsachgemäße Anwendungen, wie
z. B. Überlastung des Gerätes, Gewaltanwendung,
Beschädigungen durch Fremdeinwirkung oder durch
Fremdkörper. Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchs- und
Aufbauanleitung und normaler Verschleiß sind ebenfalls
von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.

Für einen eventuell eintretenden Unfall sollte immer
ein Verbandskasten nach DIN 13164 am Arbeitsplatz
griffbereit vorhanden sein. Dem Verbandskasten
entnommenes Material ist sofort wieder aufzufüllen.

Entsorgung
Die Entsorgungshinweise ergeben sich aus den
Piktogrammen die auf dem Gerät bzw. der Verpackung
aufgebracht sind. Eine Beschreibung der einzelnen
Bedeutungen finden Sie im Kapitel „Kennzeichnung“.
Entsorgung der Transportverpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden.
Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind in der Regel nach
umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen
Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recycelbar.
Das Rückführen der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf
spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen.
Verpackungsteile (z.B. Folien, Styropor®) können für
Kinder gefährlich sein. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
Bewahren Sie Verpackungsteile außerhalb der Reichweite
von Kindern auf und entsorgen Sie sie so schnell wie
möglich.
Anforderungen an den Bediener
Der Bediener muss vor Gebrauch des Gerätes
aufmerksam die Bedienungsanleitung gelesen haben.
Qualifikation
Außer einer ausführlichen Einweisung durch eine
sachkundige Person ist keine spezielle Qualifikation für
den Gebrauch des Gerätes notwendig.
Mindestalter
Die Ausstattung darf nur von Personen betrieben werden,
die das 18. Lebensjahr vollendet haben. Eine Ausnahme
stellt die Benutzung als Jugendlicher dar, wenn die
Benutzung im Zuge einer Berufsausbildung zur Erreichung
der Fertigkeit unter Aufsicht eines Ausbilders erfolgt.
Schulung
Die Benutzung des Gerätes bedarf lediglich einer
entsprechenden Unterweisung. Eine spezielle Schulung ist
nicht notwendig.

Transport und Lagerung
Schützen Sie das Automatikschutzschild beim Transport
vor Feuchtigkeit und Staub.
Wartung und Reinigung
Schützen Sie das Automatik Kopfschweissschildes,
besonders die elektronische Kassette, vor Flüssigkeiten,
insbesondere korrosive Flüssigkeiten sowie vor Schmutz.
Reinigen Sie das Automatik Kopfschweissschildes und die
elektronische Kassette regelmäßig. Verwenden Sie
keinesfalls aggressive Lösungsmittel oder Alkohol.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Sensoren und die Solarzellen
stets sauber sind. Reinigen Sie diese mit einem weichen
sauberen Tuch (niemals in Flüssigkeiten eintauchen).
Austausch der elektronischen Kassette und der
Filterabdeckung
Tauschen Sie die Filterabdeckungen regelmäßig aus.
Lösen Sie hierfür die Befestigungsschrauben der
Filterkassette und nehmen Sie diese heraus. Nun lassen
sich die Filterabdeckungen herausnehmen und ersetzen.

Haltbarkeit
Die Haltbarkeit dieser Ausstattung hängt vor allem von der
Sorgfalt sowie den Nutzungsbedingungen ab mit der die
Ausstattung behandelt wird. Die Ausstattung hat kein
besonderes Verfalldatum, wir empfehlen jedoch das
Automatik Kopfschweissschild 4/9-13 nach 3 Jahren
auszutauschen.
Fehlersuche
Die Tabelle zeigt mögliche Fehler, deren mögliche
Ursache und Möglichkeiten zur Abhilfe. Sollten Sie das
Problem trotzdem nicht beseitigen können, ziehen Sie eine
Fachkraft zu Rate.

appliance into operation. We also recommend keeping the
Operating Instructions for future reference.

durable. Plastic material resistant to high thermal and
mechanical load.

all welding processes with various lightness. Big auto
darkening filter (90x45mm). Welding helmet is supplied by

Training
Please read carefully the Operating Instructions and the
servicing instructions. Familiarise thoroughly with the
controls and proper using of the appliance. You must know
how the appliance works and how controls can quickly be
switched off. Never let children work with the appliance.
Never let an adult person work with the appliance without
proper training. Do not let any persons, especially small
children and pets, to the place of your work. Be careful to
prevent slipping or falling.
Use as designated
The Automatik 4/9-13 welding helmet has been approved
to be solely used for the following:

The Automatik welding helmet is not suitable for oxy-
acetylene welding, laser welding or welding works with a
too low number of amperes.
The appliance cannot be used for other works than those
for which it has been designed and which are specified in
these Operating Instructions.
Any other use will be considered a use in conflict with the
designation. The manufacturer will not be liable for any
consequential damage and injuries. Please be sure to
know that the appliance has not been designed for
industrial purposes.
Before using the appliance
Before using the fittings, please check whether all
components of the Automatik welding helmet have been
fitted properly.
Adjust the Automatik welding helmet considering the
comfortable and perfect use and the required dimensions.
Adjust the Automatik welding helmet bands using the bolt
on the back side and appropriate holes on the band
around head. The front part with the welding band must
remain centred on the forehead.
Insert the batteries included in the supply. Respect the
positive/negative pole.
Protective foils of the Automatik welding helmet must
necessarily be removed before using the appliance for the
first time; otherwise, auto darkening will not work properly.
The Automatik welding helmet must not be exposed to
impacts, must not fall on the floor and never be exposed to
excess temperatures.
Protection level selection
There are 5 protection levels (9 to 13) that can be adjusted
during the welding process using the external
potentiometer on the side of the helmet. After the welding
process is initiated, the helmet gets automatically dark.
Otherwise, please check whether the filter cassette has
been switched on properly. Please follow the darkening
instructions (pic. 3)
Sensitivity selection
Use the turning knob in the upper part of the filter cassette
to adjust the sensitivity. This will prevent the welding
process from being negatively affected by the change in
the lightness in the environment.
LOW
Recommended for welding works with a high number of
amperes and processes in an environment with intensive
light.
HIGH
Recommended for welding works with a low number of
amperes and processes in an environment with lack of
light. Also recommended for permanent soldering works,
e.g. TIG soldering.
Warranty
The warranty exclusively applies to material or
manufacturing defects. Original purchase voucher with the
purchase date must be provided for lodging a claim in the
warranty period. The warranty does not cover any
unauthorised use such as appliance overload, violent use,
damage by a foreign person or an undesirable item.
Failure to follow the Operating Instructions or assembly
instructions and ordinary wear and tear are also excluded
from the warranty.

Transport package disposal
The package protects the appliance against damage
during transport. Packing materials are usually chosen
depending on their environmental friendliness and disposal
method and can therefore be recycled.
Returning the package to material circulation saves raw
materials and reduces waste disposal costs.
Parts of packages (e.g. foils, styropor) can be dangerous
to children. Risk of suffocation!
Keep parts of packages away from children and dispose
them as soon as possible.

Instructions before using the appliance.
Qualification
No special qualification is necessary for using the
appliance apart from detailed instruction by an expert.

The appliance can only be operated by persons over 18
years of age. An exception includes youngsters operating
the appliance within their professional education to
achieve necessary skills under trainer's supervision.
Training
Using the appliance only requires appropriate instructions
by a professional or reading the Operating Instructions. No

Transport and storage
Protect the Automatik shield against moisture and dust
when being transported.
Servicing and cleaning
Protect the Automatik welding helmet, especially the
electronic cassette, against liquids, in particular, corrosive
liquids and dirt.
Clean the Automatik welding helmet and electronic
cassette at regular intervals. In any case, do not use
aggressive solvents or alcohol.
Make sure the sensors and solar cells are always clean.
Clean them with a soft clean cloth (never plunge it in
liquids).
Electronic cassette and filter cover change
Change the filter covers at regular intervals. Loosen the
fastening screws of the filter cassette and remove the
cassette. Filter covers can now be removed and changed.
Service life
The service life of these fittings especially depends on the
maintenance and how the fittings are used. The fittings
have no special applicability term; however, we
recommend changing the Automatik welding helmet after 3
years.

soudage autogène, au soudage au laser ou aux travaux
de soudage avec une faible valeur d’ampères.
Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé pour d’autres travaux
que ceux pour lesquels il a été conçu et qui sont décrits
dans le mode d’emploi.
Toute autre utilisation est contraire à la destination. Le
fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour des dommages
et accidents consécutifs à une telle utilisation. Notez que
l’appareil n’a pas été conçu pour une utilisation
industrielle.
Avant l‘utilisation
Avant d’utiliser l’équipement, veuillez contrôler si tous les
composants du masque de soudage Automatik sont
correctement fixés.
Réglez le masque de soudage Automatik de façon à
rendre son utilisation confortable et parfaite. Réglez les
bandeaux du masque de soudage Automatik à l’aide du
boulon à l’arrière et des ouvertures correspondantes sur le
serre-tête. La partie avant avec bandeau de soudage doit
être centrée sur le front.
Insérez les piles jointes dans le compartiment. Respectez
le pôle positif/négatif.
Avant la première utilisation, retirez les films de protection
du masque de soudage Automatik, faute de quoi
l’obscurcissement automatique ne fonctionnera pas
correctement.
N’exposez pas le masque de soudage Automatik aux
chocs et ne le laissez jamais tomber par terre, ne
l’exposez jamais aux températures excessives.
Choix du niveau de protection
Il y a 5 niveaux de protection (9 à 13), réglables pendant le
procédé de soudage à l’aide du potentiomètre externe
situé sur le côté du masque. Le masque s’obscurcit
automatiquement après le lancement du procédé de
soudage. Sinon, veuillez contrôler si le boîtier du filtre est
bien fixé. Veuillez respecter le mode d’obscurcissement
(fig. 3)
Choix de sensibilité
La sensibilité peut être réglée à l’aide du bouton étoilé
situé dans la partie supérieure du boîtier du filtre. Ceci
permet d’éviter que le procédé de soudage soit influencé
négativement par le changement de luminosité dans
l’environnement.
LOW
Recommandé pour des travaux de soudage avec valeur
d’ampères élevée et pour les procédés dans
l’environnement avec beaucoup de luminosité.
HIGH
Recommandé pour des travaux de soudage avec faible
valeur d’ampères et pour les procédés dans
l’environnement avec peu de luminosité. Recommandé
également pour des travaux de brasage permanent, tels
que brasage TIG.
Garantie
La garantie s’applique exclusivement sur les défauts de
matériel ou des défauts de fabrication. En cas de
réclamation pendant la durée de la garantie, veuillez
joindre l’original du justificatif d’achat comportant la date
d’achat. La garantie ne couvre pas une utilisation
incompétente, telle que surcharge de l’appareil, utilisation
de force, endommagement par une personne étrangère ou
un objet étranger. Le non respect du mode d’emploi et du
mode de montage ainsi que l’usure normale de l’appareil
sont également exclus de la garantie.

Liquidation de l’emballage de transport

Pásky sváĜeþské kukly Automatik nastavte pomocí šroubu
na zadní stranČa pĜíslušných otvorĤna pásce kolem
hlavy. PĜední þást se sváĜecím pásem musí zĤstat
vycentrována na þele.
Baterie, které jsou souþástí dodávky, vložte dovnitĜ. Dbejte
na kladný/záporný pól.
PĜed prvním použitím odstraĖte bezpodmíneþnČochranné
fólie sváĜeþské kukly Automatik, v opaþném pĜípadČ
nebude automatické stmívání správnČfungovat.
SváĜeþskou kuklu Automatik nevystavujte nárazĤm, nikdy
ji nenechejte spadnout na zem a nevystavujte ji nikdy
nadmČrným teplotám.
Volba úrovnČochrany
Existuje 5 úrovní ochrany (9 až 13), které se bČhem
svaĜovacího procesu nastaví pomocí externího
potenciometru, který se nachází na stranČhelmy. Po
spuštČní sváĜecího procesu se helma automaticky
zatmaví. V opaþném pĜípadČzkontrolujte, prosím, zda je
kazeta filtru správnČzapnuta. Dodržujte prosím návod ke
stmívání (obr. 3)
Volba citlivosti
Otoþným knoflíkem, který se nachází v horní þásti kazety
filtru, lze nastavit citlivost. Tak se zabrání tomu, aby byl
sváĜecí proces negativnČovlivnČn zmČnou svČtlosti v
prostĜedí.
LOW
Doporuþuje se pro sváĜecí práce s vysokým poþtem
ampérĤa pro procesy v prostĜedí, kde je hodnČsvČtla.
HIGH
Doporuþuje se pro sváĜecí práce s nízkým poþtem ampérĤ
a pro procesy v prostĜedí, kde je málo svČtla. Doporuþuje
se i pro permanentní pájecí práce, jako napĜ. pájení TIG.
Záruka
Záruka se vztahuje výluþnČna vady materiálu nebo
výrobní vady. PĜi uplatĖování reklamace v záruþní dobČ
pĜiložte originální doklad o koupi s datem koupČ. Ze záruky
je vylouþeno neodborné použití jako napĜ. pĜetížení
