before starting installation. Make sure the motorcycle and exhaust system are
completely cool before starting the installation. Also, make sure the bike is secure
on a centerstand or ideally a service lift during installation. Be sure to save all stock
components for possible use later.

theinstallation.Makesurethebikeissecureona
rearstandorideallyaservicelift.
2. Removesidecoversandseat.
3. Removerearpassengerseat.
4. RemoveOEMrearfender.Youwillreusethefender
bolts.
5. Removerearexhaustcover.
6. Removeexhaustvalvecablesfromservounder
seat.Useawrenchtoholdserverwheelinplaceor
internalgearsmaybreak.
*Keepservoplugged
intoharnessbutcables
willnotbeused.
7. RemoveOEMmuferassembly.LeaveOEMgasketin
headeroutletforusewithTBRsliptube.
8. Removesoundbox.
9. A t tachTBRmuf ertos lip -ontubeusings upp li edsprings .
Applyathincoatofassemblylubebetweenmufer
andtube.
10. Removebothrearsetmountingboltsandreplacewith
supplied8x40mmsocketheadcapscrew.
11. Attachthesuppliedmountingbrackettotheinsideof
frameandsecureinplacewiththesupplied8mmange
nuts.Bracketshouldbeinstalledasshowninpicture.

12. Installrubberlinedmuferclampovercanister.
13. InstalltheTBRmuferassemblyandattachusing
theangebolt,spacer,andnuttosecurethemufer
inplace.
14. TightenOEMjointclamp.
15. InstallTBRfendereliminatorkitusingtheoriginal
boltsandsuppliednuts,thenutswillbeinsidethe
bikeunderseat.
16. Attachturnsignalsandpla telightb oltsusingthewire
spliceconnectorssuppliedtothecorrectwiresinthe
harnessasshownintheWiringDiagram.
17. Re-installseatsandcovers.
18. RemoveOEMsleevesfromOEMmountandOEM
mid-pipemount.

dirt,asanyoilyresiduewilletchthemetalandbecome
somewhatpermanentwhenthesystemgetshot.Also,
removeanyplasticlmfromthenamebadge(s)andor
canisterclamp(s).Runthebikeandenjoy.Itisnormalfor
somewhitesmoketoappearthersttimeyoustartthe
bike.Thisispacking/manufacturingoilfrominsidethe
pipeburningoff.Checkforgapsorleaks.Ifyounda
leak,alittlehightemp eraturesiliconsealantshouldxit.
