Thank you for your purchase of our electric fondue
sets. To use this one properly and safely, please read
the following instructions carefully.
CAUTION
To prevent personal injury or property damage, read
and follow all instructions and warnings.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
• Read all instructions, including these important
safeguards and the care and use instructions in this
manual.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Do not leave fondue plugged in when it is not being used
or during cleaning.
• Do not operate if the fondue pot is not working properly
or if it has been damaged in any manner.
• Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself.
• For household use only.
• This appliance may be used by children of at least 8
years of age, as long as they are supervised and have

been given instructions about using the appliance safely
and are fully aware of the dangers involved.
• Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by
children unless they are at least 8 years of age and are
supervised by an adult.
• Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of
children under 8 years of age.
• When using electrical equipment, safety precautions
must always be taken to prevent the risk of fire, electric
shock and/or injury in the event of misuse.
• Make sure that the voltage rating on the typeplate
corresponds to your main voltage of your installation. If
this is not the case, contact the dealer and do not
connect the unit
• Never leave the unit unattended while in operation.
• Please keep this document at hand and give it to the
future owner in case of transfer of your device
• The device must not be used if it has been dropped, it
obvious signs of damage are visible or if it has leaks.
CAUTION
To prevent burns or other personal injuries to children,

• Always supervise children.
• Do not allow children to operate or be near the fondue
pot, as the outside surfaces are hot during use.

• Do not allow cord to hang over any edge where a child
can reach it. Arrange cord to avoid pulling, tripping or
entanglement.
• This device is not intended for use by persons with
reduced capacity on the physical, mental or sensory or
lack of experience and knowledge (including children),
unless they have had instructions to use the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety use of the
appliance and understand the hazards involved.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play
with the device.

ELECTRICITY PRECAUTIONS
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord,
plugs, or other electric parts in water or other liquids.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the Service
Center for examination, repair or adjustment.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• Do not plug cord into wall outlet unless heat control is in
OFF position.
• Always turn heat control to OFF and unplug the
appliance from outlet before cleaning.
• Your fondue has a short cord as a safety precaution to
avoid pulling, tripping or entanglement. Position the cord
so that it does not hang over the edge of the counter,

table or other area or touch hot surfaces.
• While use of an extension cord is not recommended, if
you must use one, make sure the cord has the same or
higher wattage as the fondue (wattage is stamped on the
underside of
the fondue plug). If the appliance is of the grounde type,
the extension cord should be a
grounded-type 3-wire cord. To avoid pulling,
tripping or entanglement, position the extension
cord so that it does not hang over the edge of the
counter, table or other surface area.
• Use an electrical outlet that accommodates the
polarized plug on the fondue. On a polarized plug, one
blade of the plug is wider than the other.
• If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet or extension
cord, reverse the plug. If the plug still does not fit fully,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not alter the plug.
• Do not use an outlet or extension cord if the plug fits
loosely or if the outlet or extension cord feels hot.
• Keep the cord away from hot parts of the appliance and
hot surfaces during operation.
• Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or
plug, if it is not working properly or if it has been
damaged or dropped. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a
hazard.
CAUTION
To prevent personal injuries, read and follow all
instructions and warnings.
• Always attach heat control to fondue pot first, then plug

cord into electrical outlet. After cooking and serving, turn
heat control to “off” and unplug from electrical outlet. Let
fondue pot cool before removing heat control.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use knobs if you lift or carry
the fondue pot or cover when it is hot.
• Moving an appliance containing hot foods, liquids is not
recommended. Extreme caution must be used when
moving a Fondue.
• Do not place on or near a electric burner.
• Allow fondue pot to cool completely after use and before
cleaning or storing.
• When using this BBQ grill for the first time, there may be
a smell of smoke coming from the surface of the heating
element. This is normal because of the oil protective
coating in production.
• When used in food containers should not exceed the
capacity of 80%, in order to avoid boiling liquid overflow.
• The apparatus is mainly processed cheese, chocolate or
other liquid seasoning.
USING YOUR FONDUE POT
Before Using The First Time: With heat control removed, wash the Fondue Pot, forks, fork ring in
hot soapy water. Exercise care when washing forks, as the ends are sharp. Rinse parts and dry.
NOTE: Do not use any abrasive scouring pads or cleansers on these parts.
Condition Non-Stick Interior: The non-stick interior surface of Fondue Pot must be conditioned
to ensure stick-free cooking. Lightly wipe a teaspoon of cooking oil over the entire surface with
paper toweling or a soft cloth. Allow a light film of oil to remain on the surface. Do not use
shortening, butter or margarine to condition non-stick surface. The Fondue Pot is now ready to
use.
1. Place Fondue Pot on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
2. Do not block airflow under Fondue Pot. If Fondue Pot is used on a surface that is not
heat-resistant, such as a varnished, veneer or plastic surface, place the Pot on a heat resistant

tray or board to protect the surface below. Make sure Pot rests level. Be sure hands are dry
when using the Fondue Pot. To ensure proper operation and safety, make sure all feet are
present and fully clean before each use. Do not use if any feet are missing.
3. Heat control to Fondue Pot; making sure it is set at OFF. Plug cord into a 220-240 volt AC
electrical outlet ONLY.
4. To prevent scratching of the non-stick plastic, rubber or wooden tools are recommended for
stirring foods in the preparation of dessert or cheese fondue. Do not use any sharp edged
metal cooking tools on the non-stick surface as scratching can occur. Use smooth edged
metal cooking tools when adding oil to fondue.
5. If fork ring is included, place on top edge of pot, making sure it is secured in place. Use to
hold forks in slots while cooking.
6. Use fondue forks packaged with Fondue Pot to spear foods for dipping .To prevent
scratching of the non-stick surface, use care when placing or swirling forks in pot. The handles
of the forks feature different colored ends to help user identify own fork.
7. After serving, turn heat control to OFF and unplug cord from electrical outlet. Allow Fondue
Pot and heat control to cool before cleaning. If Fondue Pot must be moved before it has
cooled, first remove heat control using caution, as portions of heat control may be hot.
Use hot pads to move pot, as handles may be warm.
CLEANING YOUR FONDUE POT
Clean After Each Use: To keep Fondue Pot looking
attractive and cooking efficiently, clean
it thoroughtly after each use.
Remove Heat Control: With heat control set at
OFF, unplug cord from electrical outlet and allow to cool. If
the heat control must be removed prior to cooling, remove
the heat control using caution, as portions of the heat
control may be hot.
Let Fondue Pot Cool By Itself - After using
Fondue Pot, always allow it to cool completely
by itself. Do not hasten cooling by adding cold

water or immersing in water when hot.
Although made of thick aluminum, a sudden change in temperature may cause the metal to
warp. Always allow hot liquid to cool completely
before removing from Fondue Pot.
ENVIRONMENT
CAUTION:
Do not dispose of this product as it has with other household products. There is a
separation of this waste product into communities, you will need to inform your local
authorities about the places where you can return this product. In fact, electrical and
electronic products contain hazardous substances that have harmful effects on the
environment or human health and should be recycled. The symbol here indicates that electrical
and electronic equipment should be chosen carefully, a wheeled waste container is marked with a
cross.

revendeur et ne branchez pas l’appareil
• Ne jamais laisser l’appareil sans surveillance lorsqu’il est
en fonctionnement.
• Veuillez conserver ce document à disposition et le
remettre au futur propriétaire en cas de cession de votre
appareil
• L’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé s’il a chuté, s’il y a des
signes visibles de dommages ou en cas de fuite.
ATTENTION
Afin de prévenir des brûlures :
• Ne laissez jamais des enfants sans surveillance en
présence de l’appareil enclenché.
• Ne permettez pas à des enfants de manipuler le
caquelon qui devient très chaud.

• Ne laissez jamais pendre par-dessus la table le cordon
électrique à proximité d’un enfant ou près d’un passage.
• Cet appareil n'est pas destiné à être utilisé par des
personnes présentant des capacités réduites sur le plan
physique, mental ou sensoriel ou bien manquant
d'expérience ou de connaissance, (y compris les
enfants), sauf si elles ont eu des instructions concernant
l'utilisation de l'appareil par une personne responsable
de leur sécurité et qu’elle en comprennent les risques.
Les enfants doivent être surveillés pour s'assurer qu'ils
ne jouent pas avec l'appareil.
ATTENTION
Afin de prévenir un choc électrique,
des blessures ou un dommage matériel
:
• Ne plongez jamais la prise, le cordon ou la partie
électrique dans de l’eau ou dans d’autres liquides.
• N’utilisez jamais l’appareil avec un câble ou une prise
abîmés, présentant un disfonctionnement ou un
dommage apparent. Faites réparer l´appareil en faisant
appel au service après-vente mis en place par votre
revendeur.
• L’appareil n’est pas prévu pour une utilisation à l’air libre.
• Branchez le câble à une prise électrique uniquement
quand le dispositif de réglage est en position OFF
(éteint).
• Tournez toujours le bouton de réglage sur OFF et
débranchez la prise avant de nettoyer l’appareil.
• Le câble est très court afin d’éviter des accidents. Veillez
à ce qu’il ne pende pas par-dessus la table, le plan de

travail, etc. et qu’il ne touche aucune surface chaude.
• Il est déconseillé d’utiliser des rallonges. Au besoin,
utilisez-en une avec la même quantité ou plus de Watts
que l’appareil à fondue. (Voir sous la prise de l’appareil).
La rallonge doit être munie d’une mise à terre. En cas de
doute, consultez un électricien. Ne modifiez jamais la
prise. Tenez le câble et la prise loin de surfaces chaudes
et ne les utilisez pas s’ils chauffent ou sont mal serrés.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil si son câble d’alimentation ou sa
prise est endommagée, s’il ne fonctionne pas
correctement, s’il a été abimé ou s’il est tombé. Si le
câble d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être
remplacé par le fabricant ou son agent ou encore par
une personne qualifiée afin d’éviter tout risque.
ATTENTION
Afin de prévenir les blessures :
• Attachez d’abord le dispositif de réglage à l’appareil,
ensuite branchez la prise à
une source électrique. Après utilisation, positionnez le
bouton sur « Off » et ôtez la prise.
• Laissez refroidir l’appareil avant d’enlever le dispositif de
réglage ou de le nettoyer.
• Ne touchez pas les surfaces chaudes. Tenez le caquelon
par la poignée pour le déplacer lorsqu’il est chaud. La
plus grande prudence est de mise lors du déplacement
de liquides ou de nourriture chauds.
• Lors de la première utilisation, le corps de chauffe peut
dégager une odeur de fumée dû à la couche protective
d’huile. Ceci est normal.
• Le caquelon ne doit pas être rempli à plus de 80% de sa

capacité, afin d’éviter tout débordement.
• L’appareil est destiné à contenir du fromage, du bouillon
ou du chocolat.
UTILISATION
La première fois : Lavez le caquelon, l’anneau de support et les fourchettes avec de l’eau
savonneuse. Attention ! Les fourchettes sont très pointues. Rincez et séchez.
Attention : n’utilisez pas de produits ou d’ustensiles abrasifs !
Revêtement antiadhésif à l’intérieur du caquelon : Afin de garantir cette fonction, il faut essuyer
l’intérieur avec du papier ménage ou un chiffon doux imbibé d’huile comestible (mais non du
beurre ou de la margarine) avant la première utilisation. L’appareil est maintenant prêt à être
utilisé.
1. Posez l’appareil sur une surface plate, sèche, résistante à la chaleur ou munie d’un sous-plat
et loin du bord.
2. N’entravez pas la circulation de l’air autour de l’appareil. Vérifiez que l’appareil est bien à plat
et ne l’utilisez pas s’il manque un pied. Manipulez-le uniquement avec les mains sèches.
3. Positionnez le bouton de réglage sur OFF, branchez la fiche uniquement dans une prise à
220-240 volt.
4. Afin de préserver la couche antiadhésive, n’utilisez que des cuillers etc. en plastique, en bois
ou du métal non tranchant pour remuer le contenu. Evitez tout objet tranchant ou pointu dans
le caquelon.
5. Si un anneau de support est fourni, posez-le solidement sur le caquelon. Il sert à tenir les
fourchettes en place pendant la cuisson.
6. Utilisez les fourchettes fournies pour piquer et cuire les aliments. Afin d’éviter de rayer les
parois, remuez avec prudence. Les différentes couleurs des fourchettes permettent d’identifier
leurs propriétaires.
7. A la fin, positionnez le bouton sur OFF et tirez la prise. Laissez l’appareil refroidir avant de le
manipuler ou de le nettoyer. Si vous devez déplacer l’appareil avant le refroidissement, ôtez
d’abord le dispositif de réglage avec prudence et à l’aide de gants isolants.

NETTOYAGE
Nettoyez soigneusement et à fond après chaque
utilisation, afin de préserver l’appareil et garantir une
cuisson efficace.
Otez le dispositif de réglage: Positionnez le bouton
d’abord sur OFF, débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique
et laissez refroidir. Attention, le dispositif de réglage peut
être chaud!
Laissez refroidir l’appareil et le contenu naturellement.
Ne le plongez jamais dans l’eau ou ne rajouter jamais de
l’eau froide pour accélérer le processus.
Il est constitué d’aluminium épais, mais un grand
changement brusque de température pourrait tout de
même le déformer.
ENVIRONNEMENT
ATTENTION :
Vous ne devez pas vous débarrasser de cet appareil avec vos déchets ménagers. Un
système de collecte sélective pour ce type de produit est mis en place par les communes,
vous devez vous renseigner auprès de votre mairie afin d'en connaître les emplacements. En
effet, les produits électriques et électroniques peuvent contenir des substances dangereuses qui
ont des effets néfastes sur l'environnement ou la santé humaine et doivent être recyclés. Le
symbole ci-contre indique que les équipements électriques et électroniques font l'objet d'une
collecte sélective, il représente une poubelle sur roues barrée d'une croix.

Fondue-Sets. Um dies einwandfreie und sicher zu
handhaben, lesen Sie bitte die folgenden Anweisungen
sorgfältig.
CAUTION
Um Verletzungen oder Sachschäden zu vermeiden,
lesen und befolgen Sie alle Anweisungen und
Warnungen.
Beim Gebrauch von elektrischen Geräten sollten immer
grundlegende Sicherheitsvorkehrungen einschließlich der
folgenden befolgt werden:
• Lesen Sie alle Anweisungen, einschließlich dieser
wichtigen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen und die Pflege und
Verwendung in dieser Anleitung.
• Verwenden Sie Gerät nicht für andere Zwecke als den
bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch.

darf es nur vom Hersteller, einer von ihm beauftragen
Werkstatt oder einer ähnlich qualifizierten Person ersetzt
werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
• Dieses Gerät darf von Kindern ab 8 Jahren benutzt
werden, sofern diese beaufsichtigt werden oder eine
Einweisung in den sicheren Gebrauch des Geräts
erhalten haben und die damit verbundenen Gefahren
verstehen.
• Kinder dürfen das Gerät nur reinigen oder pflegen, wenn
sie mindestens 8 Jahre alt sind und von einem
Erwachsenen beaufsichtigt werden.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät und das zugehörige Netzkabel

ist, wenden Sie sich an den Händler und schließen Sie
das Gerät nicht an.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs niemals
unbeaufsichtigt.
• Bitte halten Sie dieses Dokument bereit und geben Sie
es im Falle einer Übertragung Ihres Gerätes an den
zukünftigen Besitzer weiter.
• Das Gerät darf nicht benutzt werden, wenn es fallen

ELEKTRIZITÄTS VORSICHTMAßNAHMEN
• Zum Schutz gegen einen elektrischen Schlag, tauchen
Sie das Kabel, den Stecker oder andere elektrische Teile
nicht in Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten.
• Verwenden Sie kein Gerät mit einem beschädigten Kabel
oder Stecker. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht mit einem
beschädigten Kabel oder bei Störungen. Falls diese
eintrifft, wenden Sie sich ans das Service Center zur
Reparatur oder Überprüfung der Einstellungen.
• Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nicht im Freien.
• Stecken Sie das Kabel nicht in die Steckdose, es sei
denn die Wärmeregelung ist in der OFF-Position.
• Schalten Sie die Wärmekontrolle immer aus und ziehen
Sie das Gerät vor dem Reinigen aus der Steckdose.
• Ihr Fondue hat eine kurze Schnur als
Sicherheitsmaßnahme um ziehen, Stolpern oder
Verstrickung zu vermeiden. Positionieren Sie die Kabel
so, dass es nicht über den Rand des Zählers, Tisch oder
einer anderen Fläche hängt oder heiße Oberflächen
berührt.

• Die Verwendung eines Verlängerungskabels wird nicht
empfohlen, wenn Sie eine solche verwenden müssen,
stellen Sie sicher, dass das Kabel die gleiche oder eine
höhere Leistung als das Fondue hat (Wattleistung an der
Unterseite des Fondue Stecker gestanzt). Wenn das
Gerät des geerdeten Typ ist, sollte das
Verlängerungskabel eine geerdete-Typ 3-Draht-Kabel
sein. Um ein ziehen, Stolpern oder Verstrickung zu
vermeiden positionieren Sie das Verlängerungskabel so,
dass es nicht über den Rand des Zählers, Tisch oder
einer anderen Oberfläche hängt.
• Verwenden Sie eine Steckdose, die den Stecker auf dem
Fondue aufnimmt. Auf einem polarisierten Stecker, ist
eine Klinge des Steckers breiter als der andere. Wenn
der Stecker nicht vollständig in die Steckdose oder ein
Verlängerungskabel passt, drehen Sie den Stecker.
Wenn der Stecker immer noch nicht vollständig passt,
kontaktieren Sie einen qualifizierten Elektriker. Den
Stecker nicht verändern.
• Benutzen Sie keine Steckdose oder ein
Verlängerungskabel, wenn der Stecker locker sitzt oder
wenn sich die Steckdose oder ein Verlängerungskabel
heiß anfühlt.
• Halten Sie das Kabel von heißen Teilen des Gerätes und
heißen Oberflächen während des Betriebs fern.

• Befestigen Sie die Wärmekontrolle zum Fonduetopf
immer zuerst, dann stecken Sie das Kabel in die

Steckdose. Nach dem Kochen und Servieren, schalten
Sie die Wärmesteuerung auf "off" und ziehen den
Stecker aus der Steckdose. Lassen Sie den Fonduetopf
abkühlen, bevor Sie die Wärmesteuerung entfernen.
