4. BOTTLE LENGTH HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
OPERATION
1.
2.
Do not force the lever down or it may be difficult to adjust in the future.
4. If, after adjusting the top clamp, the center guide interferes with the release cable, adjust the center guide
down to the desired height. Once the height has been established, tighten the screws to lock in place.
CAUTION
The installer is liable for SCBA bracket adjustment. If locking nut is not secured onto screw,
the stop could come loose and clamping assembly can slide out of channel.

OPTIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
SHROUD POSITION
back shroud forward or rearward to better accommodate
SCBA cylinder sizes. The shroud for an ABTS (All Belts
To Seat) seat differs from that of a non-ABTS seat.
The shroud is usually assembled in the most compact
(forward) position and may be adjusted rearward for
larger diameter SCBAs. See Figure 12.
1. To adjust, remove the two mounting screws
on either side of the shroud.
2. Reposition shroud as desired.
Replace screws.
SECUREALL®POSITION

5. CABLE ATTACHMENT AND ADJUSTMENT
The release cable is routed up through the opening in the cylinder support and center guide and is
attached to the latch bracket by two nuts tightened around latch bracket. See Figure 7.
1. Screw and nut attaching cable to latch should spin freely, but screw on thread should fully engage nylon
insert in nut. See Figure 7.
2.
2a.
2b. For optimum release handle position, adjust the cable length so the latch releases when the handle
is near the top 80% of range of motion. See Figure 8.
