Wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap, and make sure the wrist strap makes good
skin contact and is well grounded.操作者需佩戴防静电腕带，确保防静电腕带与

Attachtherubberpadstothefourroundholesin the
chassis bottom.Placethefirewall withupsideupon
theworkbench.粘贴胶垫到防火墙底部，将带胶垫贴
的防火墙平放到工作台上。
Mounting the Firewall to a Workbench 安装防火墙到工作台
Make sure the workbench is sturdy and well grounded. Avoid placing heavy objects
on the firewall.保证工作台的平稳与良好接地，并且不要在防火墙上放置重物。

Airflow of the Firewall 防火墙的风道设计
Make sure the air inlet and outlet vents are not blocked and the installation site
has a good ventilation system.请确保防火墙的进、出风孔不被遮挡，并将防火墙
安装在具有良好通风散热系统的环境中。
Thefirewall adoptsleft-to-rightair aisles.
防火墙采用左进右出的风道设计。
The F50X0 series includes the F5010, F5020, and F5040.The installation
procedures for these firewalls are similar.This guide uses the F5020 as an
example. F50X0系列包含F5010/F5020/F5040款型，各款型安装方式类似，本手
册仅以安装F5020方式举例说明。
Attachthemountingbracketstothefirewall.
安装防火墙的挂耳。
Mounting the Firewall to a Rack 安装防火墙到机柜 To avoid bodily injury and firewall damage, use at least two people to mount the
firewall to the rack because the firewall is heavy.由于防火墙较重，安装到机柜时
至少需两人配合完成，以免造成防火墙及人身伤害。
Placethefirewall in therackandsecurethefirewall totherackpostswithM6screws.
将防火墙安装进机柜中，用M6螺钉将防火墙固定在机柜上。

Markthepositionsofthecagenuts
ontherackpostbyusinga
mountingbracket.用挂耳比对出机
柜立柱方孔条上浮动螺母的位置，
并用记号笔标出。
Install thecagenutstothemarked
positionsontherackpost.
安装浮动螺母。
Acagenutis installedto therack
post.浮动螺母安装完毕。

The firewall does not support hot-swapping of the interface cards. Power off the
firewall before you install or remove an interface card.
设备不支持接口板的热插拔，安装/拆卸时请先关闭电源。

Connecting the Grounding Cable 连接保护地线
Correctly connecting the firewall grounding cable is crucial to lightning protection
and EMI protection. To guarantee the grounding effect, use the grounding cable
provided with the firewall. 防火墙保护地线的正确连接是防雷、防干扰的重要保障，
请使用防火墙随机提供的保护地线正确接地。
Installing an interface card 安装接口板
Installing a Power Module 安装电源模块
Whenyoumountthefirewall toaworkbench,youcanconnectthegroundingcable toa
groundingstrip.如果设备安装在工作台,可以将保护地线连接到接地排.
Whenyoumountthefirewall toarack,youcan
connectthegroundingcable to thegrounding
terminal oftherack.如果防火墙安装在机柜，
可以将保护地线连接到机柜接地端子。
2.UsethePhillipsscrewdrivertotightenthecaptivescrews.
用十字螺丝刀拧紧松不脱螺丝。
1. Remove the filler panel from the power module.拆卸电源槽位假面板。
2. Insert the AC or DC power module.插入AC/DC电源模块。
3. Tighten the captive screws.旋紧固定螺钉。
The AC and DC power modules cannot work together on the firewall.
防火墙不支持直流和交流电源模块混插。
Connecting the Power Cable 连接电源线
Connect the AC power cable.
连接交流电源线。 Connect the DC power cable.
连接直流电源线。
Before connecting the power cable, make sure the firewall is properly grounded.
To avoid bodily injury, make sure the firewall is powered off.连接电源线前，需保
证设备已良好接地。严禁带电连接电源线，以免造成人身伤害。

1.Removethefillerpanel fromtheinterfacecardslot.Rotatethetwoejectorleversof
theinterface cardoutwardandinsertthecardalongtheguiderails intotheslot.
拆卸接口板槽位假面板，并将接口扳两端扳手向外扳，然后将接口板沿着插槽导轨水平
缓慢的推进插槽。
Install a DC power module.
安装直流电源模块。
Install an AC power module.
安装交流电源模块。
