Introduction to installation accessories 安装附件介绍
Before installation, wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap, and make sure the wrist strap makes good
skin contact and is correctly grounded.
在以下安装交换机的过程中，操作者需佩戴防静电腕带，确保防静电腕带与皮肤良好接触，并确认防
静电腕带已经良好接地。
The installation tools are not provided with the router. Prepare them yourself.
交换机不随机提供安装工具，请用户根据实际安装需求自己准备安装工具。

When you use mounting brackets, chassis rails, and slide rails to install the switch, determine the
installation positions for the accessories before installation.
利用滑道、滑道导轨配合挂耳将交换机安装到19英寸机柜时，可以根据需要调整附件在交换机上的安装
位置。

The switch provides a grounding sign at the primary grounding point but not at the auxiliary grounding
point.
S6520-EI系列交换机主接地点标有接地标识，备用接地点上无接地标识。
The two grounding screws at the primary grounding point are also applicable to the auxiliary
grounding point.
S6520-EI系列交换机主接地点上的两个接地螺钉同样适用于备用接地点。
The switch provides three holes for installing mounting brackets near the network ports.
端口侧的挂耳安装孔只有三个。

installation positions for the accessories based on the installation requirement.

Installing and removing the FRUs 模块的安装与拆卸
Before installing the fan tray, make sure the airflow direction marked on the fan tray meets the
ventilation requirement of the installation site.
安装风扇模块前，请根据风扇 模块的风向指示，确认气流方向和安装环境的通风要求一致。
The switch comes with the two fan tray slots empty. You must install two fan trays of the same
model on the switch. Do not power on the switch when no or only one fan tray is installed.
交换机出厂时两个风扇插槽均为空，为保证设备的正常散热，用户必须安装两个相同型号的风扇模
块，否则禁止交换机上电运行。
If both fan trays fail when the switch is operating, finish replacing the fan trays within 2 minutes.
交换机运行过程中，如果两个风扇模块均出现故障，则必须在2分钟内完成故障风扇模块的更换。
Connect the other end of the grounding cable to the grounding point on the rack.
接地线另一端连接到机柜接地点。
The switch provides front-to-back (port side to power module side) or back-to-front (power module
side to port side) airflow depending on the fan trays.
通过配置不同的风扇模块，可提供“端口侧到电源侧”和“电源侧到端口侧”两种通风走向，满足不
同环境下的散热要求。
Install the grounding cable before installing the switch to the rack.
为了防止机箱安装到机柜后无法安装接地线，因此请先将接地线安装到交换机的侧面接地点上。
Before installing cage nuts, mark their installation positions on the rack posts.
安装浮动螺母前，建议用户先使用记号笔在机柜立柱上标注浮动螺母安装位置。

If one fan tray fails when the switch is operating, replace the fan tray within 24 hours when the
ambient temperature is below 27°C (80.6°F). Do not remove the failed fan tray before replacement.
Replace the failed fan tray immediately when the ambient temperature is above 27°C (80.6°F).
交换机运行过程中，如果一个风扇模块出现故障，则当环境温度不高于27°C时，必须在24小时内完成
故障风扇模块的更换，且更换前必须保持故障风扇模块在位；当环境温度高于27°C时， 请立即进行更
换。

Install a filler panel to the empty power module slot to prevent dust from entering the chassis and
ensure good ventilation.
若电源模块插槽没有安装电源模块，请及时安装假面板，防止灰尘进入交换机，同时又保证设备的良
好通风散热。
Connect the DC power cord

Use a cable tie to secure the power cord to the handle of the power module 使用可拆
卸式扎带固定电源线，以防止电源线脱落

Before connecting the power cord, connect the grounding cable and make sure the switch is correctly
grounded.
在连接电源线前，需先连接保护地线，保证交换机正确接地。
Connect the power cord to the switch first and then to the power source to avoid bodily injury.
连接电源线时，请先完成电源线与交换机侧的连接，再进行电源线与供电系统的连接，以免造成人身伤
害。
