Installation positions for accessories 安装方式介绍
When you use slide rails and chassis rails to install a switch in a 19-inch rack, first
determine the installation positions for the mounting bracket, slide rails, and ground cable
on the switch.利用滑道、滑道导轨配合挂耳将交换机安装到19英寸机柜时，可以根据实际
需求调整附件在交换机上的安装位置。
Position a or b near the network ports
靠近端口侧，可以安装在a处或b处
Primary grounding point

The switch comes with the mounting bracket and cable management bracket attached
together. You can de-attach them as required. 交换机发货时挂耳和走线架是安装在一起
的，用户可根据实际需求进行拆卸。

The distance between the front and rear rack posts depends on the switch mounting
methods. For other installation methods, you need to adjust the distance as required.
安装方法不同，对机柜前后方孔条的间距要求也有所差异，下面以使用滑道为例，对
交换机的安装进行介绍。使用其他安装方法时，请用户根据实际情况调整机柜方孔条
之间的距离。
When you use guide rails and chassis rails to install a switch in a cabinet, make sure：
采用滑道、导轨和挂耳安装时，对机柜要求：

The distance between the front post and front door is greater than100 mm (3.94 in).

Airflow direction of the switch交换机的风道设计
The switch can provide airflow from the port side to power module side or from the
power module side to port side depending on the fan tray type. 交换机采用前后风道设
计，通过配置不同的风扇模块，可提供“电源侧到端口侧”和“端口侧到电源侧”两种
气流方向，满足不同环境下的散热要求。

Remove the filler panel before you install a field replaceable unit (FRU) and keep the
removed filler panel for future use.安装模块前，请先取下假面板，并妥善保存拆卸下
来的假面板。
After removing an FRU, install a filler panel to the empty slot to prevent dust from
entering the switch.若模块拆卸完成后无须安装新的模块，请及时安装假面板，以防止
灰尘进入。
Before installing a fan tray, make sure the airflow direction marked on the fan tray
meets the ventilation requirement of the installation site. 在安装风扇模块前，请根据
风扇模块的风向标识，确认气流方向和安装环境的通风要求一致。

The installing and removing procedures for the LSVM1S9800FAN and
LSVM2S9800FAN are similar. LSVM1S9800FAN风扇模块和LSVM2S9800FAN风扇
模块的安装和更换方法相同，安装和更换时按如下步骤进行。
Disconnect the power cord before you remove a power module.
拆卸电源模块前，请先拔掉电源线。

You must install two fan trays of the same model on a switch.为保证交换机正常运行，
请用户务必安装两块同型号的风扇模块。

Removing an interface card 拆卸业务板
If both fan trays on a switch fail, finish replacing the fan trays within 3 minutes. If one
fan tray fails, finish replacing the fan tray within 5 minutes.当交换机的两个风扇模块同
时发生故障时，为保证交换机正常运行，请在三分钟内完成更换。当交换机的一个风
扇模块发生故障时，为保证交换机正常运行，请在五分钟内完成更换。
Before connecting the power cord, connect the grounding cable and make sure the
switch is correctly grounded. 连接电源线前，需先连接保护地线，保证交换机正确接地。
Connect the power cord to the switch first and then to the power source to avoid
bodily injury.连接电源线时，请先完成电源线与交换机侧的连接，再进行电源线与
供电系统的连接，以免造成人身伤害。
