Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
The appliance must be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources(for examples: open flames, an operating gas appliance
or an operating electric heater).

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

All the cables shall have got the European authentication certificate. During installation, when the connecting cables break off, it must be
assured that the grouding wire is the last one to be broken off. The explosion-proof breaker of the air conditioner should be all-pole switch.
Distance between it’s two contacts should not be no less than 3mm. Such means for disconnection must be incorporated in the wiring.
Make sure installation is done according to local wiring regulation by professional persons.
Make sure ground connection is correct and reliable. A leakage explosion-proof breaker must be installed.
The installation and service of this product shall be carried out by professional personnel, who have been trainedand certified by national training
organizations that areaccredited to teach the relevant national competency standards that may be set in legislation.
Mechanical connectors used indoors shall comply with ISO 14903. When mechanical connectors are reused indoors, sealing parts shall be
renewed. When flared joints are reused indoors, the flare part shall be re-fabricated.
This appliance is intended to be used by expert or trained users in shops, in light industry and on farms, or for commercial use by lay persons。

units.
The refrigerant suitable for the indoor unit is R410A/R32. The indoor unit shall only be connected to outdoor unit suitable for the same refrigerant.
The unit is a partial unit air conditioner, complying with partial unit requirements of the International Standard, and must only be connected to
other units that have been confirmed as complying to corresponding partial unit requirements of the International Standard.

Cautions
Disposal o the old air conditioner
Be ore disposing an old air conditioner that goes out o use, please make sure it's inoperative and sa e. Unplug the air conditioner
in order to avoid the risk o child entrapment.
It must be noticed that air conditioner system contains re rigerants, which require specialized waste disposal. The valuable
materials contained in a air conditioner can be recycled. Contact your local waste disposal center or proper disposal o an old
air conditioner and contact your local authority or your dealer i you have any question. Please ensure that the pipework o your
air conditioner does not get damaged prior to being picked up by the relevant waste disposal center, and contribute to environmental
awareness by insisting on an appropriate, anti-pollution method o disposal.
Disposal o the packaging o your new air conditioner
All the packaging materials employed in the package o your new air conditioner may be disposed without any danger to the
environment.
The cardboard box may be broken or cut into smaller pieces and given to a waste paper disposal service. The wrapping bag
made o polyethylene and the polyethylene oam pads contain no luorochloric hydrocarbon.
All these valuable materials may be taken to a waste collecting center and used again a ter adequate recycling.
Consult your local authorities or the name and address o the waste materials collecting centers and waste paper disposal
services nearest to your house.
Sa ety Instructions and Warnings
Damaged air conditioners are not to be put into operation. In case o doubt, consult your supplier.
Use o the air conditioner is to be carried out in strict compliance with the relative instructions set orth in the User's Guide.
Installation shall be done by pro essional people, don't install unit by yoursel .
For the purpose o sa ety, the air conditioner must be properly grounded in accordance with speci ications.
Always remember to unplug the air conditioner be ore opening inlet grill. Never unplug your air conditioner by pulling on the
power cord. Always grip plug irmly and pull straight out rom the outlet.
All electrical repairs must be carried out by quali ied electricians. Inadequate repairs may result in a major source o danger or
the user o the air conditoiner.
Do not damage any parts o the air conditioner that carry re rigerant by piercing or per orating the air conditioner's tubes with
sharp or pointed items, crushing or twisting any tubes, or scraping the coatings o the sur aces. I the re rigerant spurts out and
gets into eyes, it may result in serious eye injuries.
Do not obstruct or cover the ventilation grille o the air conditioner. Do not put ingers or any other things into the inlet/outlet and
swing louver.
Do not allow children to play with the air conditioner. In no case should children be allowed to sit on the outdoor unit.

There are three methods to connection wire controller and the indoor units:
A.One wired controller can control max. up to 16 sets of indoor units, and 3 pieces of polar wire must connect the wire
controller and the master unit (the indoor unit connected with wire controller directly), the others connect with the master
unit through 2 pieces of polar wire
B. One wire controller controls one indoor unit, and the indoor unit connects with the wire controller through 3 pieces of
polar wire.
C. Two wired controllers control one indoor unit. The wire controller connected with indoor unit is called master one, the
other is called slave one. Master wire controller and indoor unit; master and slave wire controllers are all connected
through 3 pieces of polar wire.
6. Communication wiring:
The wire controlleris equipped with specialcommunication wiring in the accessories. 3-core terminal(1-white 2-yellow 3-
red)is connected with the terminalA, B, C of wire controller respectively.

"HOT KEEP" unction
Heating Mode

"HOT KEEP" is operated in the ollowing cases.
When heating is started:
In order to prevent blowing out o cool wind, the indoor unit an stopped according to the room temperature which heating
operation is started. Wait or approx. 2 to 3 minute, and the operation will be automatically changed to the ordinary heating
mode.
De rosting operation (in the heating mode):
When it is liable to rost, the heating operation is stopped automatically or 5 to 12 minutes once per approx. one hour,
and de rosting is operated. A ter de rosting is completed, operation mode is automatically changed to ordinary heating
operation.
When the room thermostat is actuated:
When room temperature increases and room temperature controller actuates, the an speed is automatically changed to
stop under low temperature condition o indoor heat exchanger. When room temperature decreases, air conditioner
automatically changes over to ordinary heating operation.
Heat pump type warming
With the heat pump type warming, the mechanism o heat pump that concentrate heat o outdoor air with the help o
re rigerant to warm the indoor space, is utilized.
De rosting operation
When a room is warmed with a heat pump type air conditioner, rost accumulates on the heat exchanger o outdoor unit
along with the drop o indoor temperature. Since the accumulated rost reduces the e ect o warming, it is necessery to
automatically switch the operation to the de rosting mode. During the de rosting operation, heating operation is interrupted.
Atmospheric temperature and warming capacity
Warming capacity o heat pump type air conditioner decreases along with the drop o outdoor temperature.
When the warming capacity is not su icient, it is recommended to use another heating implement.
Period o warm-up
Since the heat pump type air conditioner employs a method to circulate warm winds to warm
the entire space o a room, it takes time be ore the room temperature rises.
It is recommendable to start the operation a little earlier in a very cold morning.

Pre-Season Care
See that there are no obstacles blocking the air inlet and air outlet o both indoor and outdoor units.

Post-Season Care
Operate the unit with FAN mode on a air day or about hal a day to dry the inside o the unit well.
Stop operation and turn o the power supply switch. Electric power is consumed even the air conditioner is in stop.
Clean the air ilter and set it in the place.
Care and Cleaning o the unit
Clean with so t and dry cloth.
I it is very dirty, dissolve neutral detergent in the lukewarm water and make the cloth wet with the water. A ter wiping,
clean o the detergent using clean water.
1.Clean the air ilter by lightly tapping it or with the cleaner. It is more e ective to clean
the air ilter with water.
I the air ilter is very dirty, dissolve neutral detergent in the lukewarm water (approx. 30 C),
rinse the air ilter in the water, and thoroughly wash the air ilter o the detergent
in the plain water.

The ollowings are not mal unction

Shuru
When the air conditioner is started, when the compressor starts or stops
during operation or when the air conditioner is stopped, it sometimes sounds
"shuru shuru" or "gobo gobo". It is the lowing sound o the re rigerant, and it
is not a trouble.
Water lowing sound is heard.
This is caused by heat expansion or contraction o plastics.Cracking sound is heard.
It smells. Air which blows out rom the indoor unit sometimes smells. The smell results
rom residents o tobacco smoke or cosmetics stuck inside o unit.
When the air conditioner is used at restaurant etc. where dense edible oil
ume is always exists, white og sometimes blows out o air outlet during
operation. In this case consult sales dealer or cleaning the heat exchanger.
During operation, white og comes out

Though the precautionary points indicated herein are divided under two headings, and , those
points which are related to the strong possibility o an installation done in error resulting in death or serious injury are
listed in the section. However, there is also a possibility o serious consequences in relationship to the
points listed in the section as well. In either case, important sa ety related in ormation is indicated, so by all
means, properly observe all that is mentioned.
A ter completing the installation, along with con irming that no abnormalities were seen rom the operation tests, please
explain operating methods as well as maintenance methods to the user (customer) o this equipment, based on the owner's
manual. Moreover, ask the customer to keep this sheet together with the owner's manual.
This system should be applied to places as o ice, restaurant, residence and the like. Application to in erior environment
such as engineering shop could cause equipment mal unction.
Please entrust installation to either the company which sold you the equipment or to a pro essional contractor. De ects
rom improper installations can be the cause o water leakage, electric shocks and ires.
Execute the installation accurately, based on ollowing the installation manual. Again, improper installations can result
in water leakage, electric shocks and ires.
When a large air-conditioning system is installed to a small room, it is necessary to have a prior planned countermeasure
or the rare case o a re rigerant leakage, to prevent the exceeding o threshold concentration. In regards to preparing
this countermeasure, consult with the company rom which you perchased the equipment, and make the installation
accordingly. In the rare event that a re rigerant leakage and exceeding o threshold concentration does occur, there is
the danger o a resultant oxygen de iciency accident.
For installation, con irm that the installation site can su iciently support heavy weight. When strength is insu icient,
injury can result rom a alling o the unit.
Execute the prescribed installation construction to prepare or earthquakes and the strong winds o typhoons and
hurricanes, etc. Improper installations can result in accidents due to a violent alling over o the unit.
For electrical work, please see that a licensed electrician executes the work while ollowing the sa ety standards related
to electrical equipment, and local regulations as well as the installation instructions, and that only exclusive use circuits
are used. Insu icient power source circuit capacity and de ective installation execution can be the cause o electric
shocks and ires.
Accurately connect wiring using the proper cable, and insure that the external orce o the cable is not conducted to
the terminal connection part, through properly securing it. Improper connection or securing can result in heat generation
or ire.
Take care that wiring does not rise upward, and accurately install the lid/service panel. Its improper installation can
also result in heat generation or ire.
When setting up or moving the location o the air conditioner, do not mix air etc. or anything other than the designated
re rigerant
such mixing.
Always use accessory parts and authorized parts or installation construction. Using parts not authorized by this company
can result in water leakage, electric shock, ire and re rigerant leakage.

CAUTION
Execute proper grounding. Do not connect the ground wire to a gas pipe, water pipe, lightning rod or a telephone ground
wire. Improper placement o ground wires can result in electric shock.
The installation o an earth leakage breaker is necessary depending on the established location o the unit. Not installing
an earth leakage breaker may result in electric shock.
Do not install the unit where there is a concern about leakage o combustible gas.
The rare event o leaked gas collecting around the unit could result in an outbreak o ire.
For the drain pipe, ollow the installation manual to insure that it allows proper drainage and thermally insulate it to
prevent condensation. Inadequate plumbing can result in water leakage and water damage to interior items.

the work must be conducted in accordance with electric equipment technical standard.
The power source or the unit is to be o exclusive use.
An earth leakage breaker should be installed.(This is necessary to prevent electric shock.)
The unit must be grounded.
Special technology is required or removal or reinstallation o air conditioner, consult the sales dealer. Besides, construction
expense is charged or removal or reinstallation.
The capacity o air conditioner will decrease by contamination o inside o unit when it is used or about three years although
depending upon the circumstances under which it is used, and so in addition to the usual maintenance service, special
inspection/maintenance service is necessary. It is recommended to make a maintenance contract (charged) by consulting
your sales dealer.

2.Installation o indoor unit
Fix the indoor unit to the hanger bolts.
I required, it is possible to suspend the unit to the beam, etc. Directly
by use o the bolts without using the hanger bolts.
When the dimensions o main unit and ceiling holes does not match,
it can be adjusted with the slot holes o hanging bracket.
Note
Adjusting to the levelness
(a) Adjust the out-o levelness using a level or by the ollowing method.
Make adjustment so that the relation between the lower sur ace
o the unit proper and water level in the hose becomes as given
below.
(b) Unless the adjustment to the levelness is made properly,

Drain Pipe
For unit without water pump
When connecting the drain pipe to unit, pay suffcient attention
not to apply excess force to the piping on the unit side. Also, fix
the piping at a point as close as possible to the unit.
For unit without water pump,please refer to the digram and select
drain pipe size according to drain opening inner diameter size.
The drain pipe shall be slant downwards (greater than 1/100).
The horizontal length of the drain pipe shall be less than 20 m
.In case of long pipe, supports shall be provided every 1.5~2m
to prevent wavy form.Central piping shall be laid out-
according to the right figure. Take care not to apply external force
onto the drain pipe connection part.
For unit with water pump drain pipeuse hard PVC general purpose
pipe VP which can be purchased locally. When connecting, insert a
PVC pipe end securely into the drain socket before tightening
-securely using the attached drain hose and clamp. Adhesive
must not be used for connection of the drain socket and
drain hose(accessory).
When constructing drain piping for several units, position the
common pipe about 1 00 mm below the drain outlet of each unit
as shown in the sketch. Use VP-30(11/4") or thicker pipe for this
purpose.
The hard PVC pipe put indoor side should be heat insulated. Do
not ever provide an air vent.
The height of the drain head can be elevated up to a point 700
mm above the ceiling, and when an obstacle exists in the ceiling
space, elevate the piping to avoid the obstacle using an elbow
or corresponding gadget. When doing this, if the stretch for the
needed height is higher than 700 mm, the back-flow quantity of
drain at the event of interruption of the operation gets too much
and it may cause overflow at the drain pan. Therefore, make the
height of the drain pipe within the distance given in the sketch
below.
Avoid positioning the drain piping outlet at a place where generation
of odor may be stimulated. Do not lead the drain piping direct into a
sewer from where sulfur gas may generate.
