The following safety precautions must be observed.
This safety precautions should keep in hand for reference.
When transfer the air conditioner to a new user, this manual should also be given
to the new user together with the unit.Warning
Commissioned installation
The installation work should be done
by the after-sales service worker.
Selfinstallation may cause water
leakage, electric shock and fire accident
because of improper installation.
Ask after-sales service worker to take
measure to prevent refrigerant from
leaking.
If the leaked
refrigerant exceeds
a certain density, it will cause lack of
oxygen. If the room installed with air
conditioner is too small, do take enough
measure in order to avoid lack of
oxygen even if refrigerant leaks.
If abnormal conditions (sear smell)
occur, please stop the unit, turning
off the electric power and contact the
after-sales service center for solution.
When the air conditioner must be
dismantled and reinstalled, please ask
the after-sales service center to do
this work.
Improper installation
may cause water leakage, electric
shock and fire.
Warning: Improper use may cause death or serious injury.
Notice: Improper use may cause body hurt or unit damage; in some
circumstance, it may cause serious results.
Safety Precautions
Equip the grounding wire
The grounding wire cannot be
connected to gas pipe, city water pipe,
lightning rod or telephone line.
Improper grounding may
cause electric shock.
During the unit operation, do not insert
fingers or other articles alike into
the air inlet, outlet and louver.
Because the high-speed
fanis very dangerous, it
may cause hurt.
If still using the unit under this
circumstance, the air conditioner may
be damaged and may also cause
electric shock or fire accidents.
It is strictly prohibited to rebuild the
air conditioner by yourself.
Improper rebuilding may
cause fire, electric shock
and water leakage.
When needing repair, please ask the
after-sales service work for help.

Safety Precautions
Notice
Do not install the air conditioner in a
place where the inflammable gas
maybe exists.
The inflammable gas around the air
conditioner may cause fire accident.
Confirm the fixing method.
If the air conditioner is not fixed
firmly and reliably, because of the
overturn of the unit may cause
accident.
The creepage breaker should be
equipped.
If not equipped with creepage
breaker, it may cause creepage.
After a long-time using of the air
conditioner, please check if the
foundation of the unit is damaged.
If the foundation is damaged without
repair, the unit may fall down leading
to body hurt.
Only after stopping the unit and
cutting off power can clean the air
conditioner to avoid electric shock
or injury.
If the power cable is damaged, in
order to avoid danger, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its
repair service center of the similar
qualified worker.
Only use the proper specified fuse:
T3.15A 1250VAC
Do not use cable or other materials
to replace the fuse, otherwise it may
cause fire and other trouble.
Do not put or use any spray near
the air conditioner, otherwise it
may cause fire.

Installation Instruction
Notice
Do not install the air conditioner in a place where the inflammable gas maybe
exists. The inflammable gas around the air conditioner may cause fire accident.
Make sure if the outdoor unit is firmly fixed on the foundation. Improper
installation may cause fall over leading to accident.
Avoid the place where high frequency electromagnetic waves are generated.
Avoid the place with to much oil, vapor and salinity, such as, seashore and hotspring
area and the area with sulfurated gas, etc. corrosive gas. If install in these places,
trouble easily occurs and the air conditioner needs special maintenance.
The space around the air inlet and outlet of the outdoor unit is open not influe
ncing ventilation.
Avoid the place where the strong wind directly blows to the air inlet and outlet
of outdoor unit.
When using the air conditioner in the area with heavy snowfall, the outdoor unit
must be equipped with snow-protective frame and snow-protective cover. For
details, please contact the after-sales service worker.
Installation place
Requirements:
Install in the place with intensity as high as possible to prevent the noise and
vibration from spreading to other places.
If there is obstacle around the air outlet of the outdoor unit, the operation noise
may become higher.
Place where the operation noise, cold air and hot air will not disturb the neighbors.
Operation noise:
Electric wiring: Warning
The power cable must equip with grounding wire to guarantee the air conditioner
is effectively grounded through the power cable. Not grounded or improper
grounding may cause electric shock. Do not connect the grounding wire to the
gas pipe, city water pipe, lightning rod or telephone line.
Notice
No matter in any installation place, a creepage breaker must be installed. If do
not install creepage breaker, it may cause electric shock, etc. accidents. After
finishing wiring, power on the unit to perform the electricity leakage detection.
The breaker of the air conditioner should be all-pole switch,and the distance
between its two contacts should be on less 3mm.Such means for disconnection
must be incorporation in the fixed wiring.
Only use the proper specified fuse. Do not use cable or other materials to replace
the fuse, otherwise it may cause fire and other trouble.
The power supply should be complied with the specified rated voltage and use
the special circuit for air conditioner only.

Operation and performance
3 minutes delay function
If start the unit immediately after its stop, the compressor will operate after 3
minutes have elapsed to protect the unit.
The characteristic
During operation, if the outdoor temperature is too high, the fan motor of outdoor
unit will automatically change to low fan speed.
About Defrosting operation in
During HEATING operation, when the outdoor unit frosts, in order to enhance
the heating effect, the unit will automatically start DEFROSTING operation
(about 2~10 minutes), at this time, the condensate water will be drained out from
outdoor unit.
During DEFROSTING operation, the fan motor of indoor unit will be in low fan
speed or stop, the fan motor of outdoor unit will stop.
The working condition of the air conditioner
In order to use the air conditioner correctly, please operate it in the following
condition.

device will act and at the same time the outdoor unit will give alarm.

Operation and performance
About the power failure
When power failure occurs during operation, all the operation will stop.
When operating the unit again, press ìON/OFFî button.
Protection device (High voltage switch, low voltage switch)
High voltage switch or low voltage switch is the device when the air conditioner
abnormally operates, it automatically makes the air conditioner stop operation.
When the protection device acts, HEATING or COOLING operation stops, but
the operation indicator light of the wire controller still lights up. The relative trouble
code is displayed.
When the following circumstances occur, the protection device acts.
In COOLING operation:
When the air inlet and air outlet of the outdoor unit is blocked.
When the strong wind directly blow the air outlet of the outdoor unit.
In HEATING operation:
When the air filter of the indoor unit is covered with dust.
When the air outlet of indoor unit is blocked.
When protection device acts, cut off the power switch first, after finding
the cause, then operate the air conditioner again.
When wrong action occurs during operation
During operation, because of the influence of thunder, automobile and wireless
disturbance,
the unit has wrong action, cut off the power switch, after powering on again, press
ìON/OFFî
button, the unit can be turned on or off.
HEATING operation adopts the heat pump type of absorbing the outdoor heat
to release to indoor side, so if the outdoor temperature drops, the HEATING
capacity may be lowered.
When the outdoor temperature is low, the air conditioner can be used together
with other heating devices.

Troubleshooting
Blow out mist or
water overflow
Giving out noise
The fan motor of outdoor unit automatically stop to perform
defrosting.
Circumstances needing to further confirmation
Symptom
Before contact the repair center, please check the following circumstances

During operation, in operation and shortly after unit stop, there
is a sound of water flow; within 2~3 minutes after operation start,
sometimes the sound becomes larger, this is the sound of refrigerant
flowing and drainage of condensate water.
During operation, the air conditioner gives out the sound of ìPu
Chiî, it is because of the temperature change, the sound of heat
exchangerís hot expansion and cold shrink.
Not get the needed

If there is too much dust on the indoor air filter. (please cut off
power to clean the air filter)
If the position of the air outlet louver of the indoor unit is suitable.
(adjust the position of the louver)
If exceeding the operation range of the air conditioner.
When the following circumstances occur, please stop the unit and cut off power,
then contact the after-sales service center.
Bad action of button.
When fuse and breaker often blown out.
Alien articles and water enter into electric box.
Exclude the cause of protection device, the unit still cannot operate.
Other abnormal circumstances.

Installation instruction
Before installing, do read this ìSafety precautionsî carefully to guarantee the proper installation.
The below attentive matters are divided into ì Warningî and ì Noteî two parts. When the wrong
installation occur, it is very possible death and severe injury and other serious accidents will
happen. For those items are listed in ì Warningî part. But even the items listed in ì Noteî part
can also cause serious accidents. Above all, both the two parts are very important contents related
to safety, so they must be obeyed.

unit damage or risk to usersí safety.
After finishing the installation work, do test run to verify everything is normal. After that please
explain the using and maintenance methods to the user. Additionally, give this installation manual
and operation manual to the user and ask them to keep it properly.
The commissioned repair center shall do the installation work. If you do the installation work by
yourself, the improper installation will cause water leakage, electric shock fire and other accidents.
The installation work shall be in line with what the installation manual specified. If installation is
not proper, water leakage, electric shock, fire and other accidents will occur.
Ask after-sales service worker to take measure to prevent refrigerant from leaking. If the leaked
refrigerant exceeds a certain density, it will cause lack of oxygen. If the room installed with air
conditioner is too small, do take enough measure in order to avoid lack of oxygen even if refrigerant
leaks.
Install the air conditioner to a place where can definitely stand its weight. The air conditioner can
not be installed on a nonmetal bracket (such as theft guard net). Places not firm enough will cause
drop down of unit resulting in body hurt.
The installation work shall be preventive to typhoon and earthquake. If the installation work does
not meet with the requirements, overturn of the unit will occur resulting in accidents.During
installation, if refrigerant leakage occurs, do the ventilation work immediately. As soon as the
refrigerant gas meets fire, poisonous gas will be produce.
After installation, confirm there is no leakage of refrigerant. If the refrigerant gas enters into room
and meet the air blowing heater, heater or stove etc. fire source, the poisonous gas may be produced.
The electric wiring should be commissioned to the qualified electrician to perform according to
the what the installation manual specified and a special circuit must be used. If the capacity of the
power cable is not insufficient or the work is improper, it may cause electric shock and fire.
When wiring, do use the specified cable and reliably connect and fix them.
Do not let the external force exerted on the cable to transfer to the terminal block. Improper connection
and fixation may cause heat and fire, etc. accidents.
Do not install the unit in a place where the combustible gas may be leaked. In any case the combustible
gas leaks and accumulated around the unit, fire accident will occur.
A creepage breaker must be equipped. If not, electric shock may occur.
Do not connect the grounding wire to gas pipe, city water pipe, lightning rode and telephone lin.

Before installation, please ask the user if the installation place meets the following conditions.
(1)Place can perform level installation.
(2)Place can ensure the space for successful maintenance and repair.
(3)Place the drainage of the condensate water is not influence.
Avoid the following installation place:
(1)Area with too much salinity (e.g. seashore), sulfuration gas (e.g. near the hotspring). If using
in this area, special maintenance is needed.
(2)Place with oil, vapor and soot, etc. corrosive gas.
(3)Place with organic solvent.
(4)Place near the high frequency electromagnetic waves.
(5)Place where the discharged air from the outdoor unit will influence the neighors.
(6)Place that enlarging the operation noise of the outdoor unit.
(7)Place with bad ventilation.

Please install at the place that can sufficiently bear the weight of the unit. The air
conditioner cannot be installed on a nonmetal frame (e.g. theft guard), place with
insufficient intensity will cause the unit fall down leading to body hurt accident.
The installation work shall be preventive to typhoon and earthquake. If the
installation work does not meet with the requirements, overturn of the unit will
occur resulting in accidents.
Choose of installation place
Installation space
(1)When installing, connect the outdoor unit and
put the working surface in order (as right Figure
shown). The distribution device of the power
is installed on the side of the outdoor unit,and
installed according to the installation manual
of the distribution device.
(2)In order to guarantee the performance of
the unit and the need of working and
maintenance, the needed space should
beleft around the unit (referring to the right
Figure).
Note: When there is obstacle over the unit, the obstacle should keep at least
2000mm from the outdoor unit. The height of the obstacles around the
outdoor unit should be over 400mm lower than the top of the unit.
1.Carrying of outdoor unit
After the wood packing of the outdoor unit
is opened, when loading and unloading,
please pay attention to the following points.
(1)When use forklift to carry the unit, insert
the lift fork of the forklift into the special
holes of the base for loading and unloading.
(2)When lifting installation, use 4 pieces of
wire ropes with diameter over 6mm.
(3)The contact part between the wire ropes and
the unit body should be covered by protection
cushion to prevent the unit from deforming
and damaging the unit surface.

During installation, if refrigerant leakage occurs, do the ventilation work immediately.
As soon as the refrigerant gas meets fire, poisonous gas will be produce.
After installation, confirm there is no leakage of refrigerant. If the refrigerant gas enters
into room and meet the air blowing heater, heater or stove etc. fire source, the poisonous
gas may be produced.
The interval among foot screws is as below Figure shown.
Connection of refrigerant pipe
(1)The joint of the refrigerant pipe is in the outdoor unit, remove the front checking and
repair panel.
(2)The refrigerant pipe can be connected out from the front and lower part of the outdoor
unit.
(3) Connect the connection pipe of outdoor unit
According to the connection method to connect the connection pipe and in/out liquid
pipe and gas pipe.
If do not fit the center and screw the nut hard, the
screw thread may be damaged, which will cause
refrigerant leakage.
In order to guarantee the efficiency, the refrigerant pipe
should be as short as possible.
Daub the refrigerant oil on the joint and the flare.
When bending the pipes, give the roundness as large as
possible, to avoid crashing and flat the pipes.
To connect the pipe, fit the center and use hand to screw the
nut, as shown in figure.
Pay attention not to let alien matters, such as sand, water get
into the pipe.
3.Connection of refrigerant pipe
(2)When connecting the refrigerant pipe out of the
unit box, the box bottom should use aerial type.
The height of the aerial part should be over 500
mm, as the below Figure shown.
(3)When installing in the area with too much snowfall,
the outdoor unit should take the snow protection
measure as the below Figure shown. (If the snow
protection measure is not sufficient, it may cause
trouble. In order not to be influenced by the acc-
umulated snow, the outdoor unit should be lifted
highly and install snow protection cover at the air
inlet and outlet of the outdoor unit.)
(4)When installing outdoors, install the anti-vibration
cushion between the unit and the installation bracket.

Use vacuum pump to discharge the water and air out.
(1)Remove the valve caps of 2-way valve and 3-way
valve of outdoor unit.
(2)Open the charging valve cap of the 3-way valve,
then connect the pipe according to the right Figure
shown.
(3)Close the ìHiî switch tight, open ìLoî switch, and
operate the vacuum pump. The operation time
depends on the performance of the pump and the
length of the pipe. The required vacuum degree
is below 200Pa.
(4)After reaching the vacuumizing operation time,
turn off the ìLoî switch of the compound pressure
meter, then turn off the vacuum pump.
(5)Open the valve core of the 2-way valve and 3-way
valve, that is turn the valve core anti-clockwise
till the end, thus the refrigerant in indoor unit and
outdoor unit is joined together.
(6)Then fasten the valve caps and the air charging
valve cap.
Leakage detection
Before performing total wrapping and arrangement, please perform leakage
detection first.
Can use Halogen leakage detector to check.
Can also use soap water to perform detection: daub soap water on every
joint, if there is leakage, air bubble will appear.
Note: When using soap water, it must use 30kg/cm Nitrogen tank to pass
through the pipe for checking. After checking, then perform vacuumizing.
Refrigerant charging amount
When the connection pipe (L) is less than or equal to 5m, it is not necessary
to charge additional refrigerant. If the connection pipe (L) exceeds 5m, it needs
to be added with 60g refrigerant every meter.
That is: refrigerant charging amount = (L-5)x60(g)
Only in COOLING operation mode can charge the additional refrigerant.
When charging, the refrigerant should be charged through the charging
nozzle of the low pressure valve.
When charging the refrigerant, please be careful not to let air mix into
the system.

Installation of outdoor unit
Wiring method
1.The wiring method of orbicular terminal
For the connection wire which end is orbicular
terminal, its wiring method is as the right figure
shown. Dismantle the screw and put it through the
ring at the end of the connection wire, then connect
it to the terminal block and tighten the screw.
2.The wiring method of straight terminal
For those connection wires whose end are
not orbicular terminals, their wiring method
is:
Loosen the connecting screw, insert the end
of the wire directly into the terminal block, and
then tighten screw. Pull the wire outwards slightly
to confirm it is held tightly.
3.Pressing method of connection wire:
After wiring, the connection wire must be pressed
with wire holding clamp. The wire holding clamp
should press on the out cover of the connection
wire. As the right figure shown:
Connect wire between indoor & outdoor unit
As the Figure shown, arrange the connection
wire properly (note: the two ends of the
connection wire are different, do not connect them reversedly).
Open the repair panel of the outdoor unit,loosen the wire holding clamp
(outdoor unit).
According to the wiring method and the wiring diagram to connect the
connection wire properly.
According to the pressing method of connection wire, press the connection
wire properly. (outdoor unit)
Reinstall the wiring cover.
Note: The marks on the terminals of the end of the connection wire should be corresponding
one by one.
Note:
When connecting the indoor & outdoor wire, check the number of the indoor &
outdoor terminals, the terminals with the same number connected together with
one wire.
Incorrect wiring will damage the controller of the air conditioner or make the unit
work abnormally.
The connection type of power cord is Y connection. If the soft power cord is dama-
ged,to avoid risk, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or their specific repair
department or similar professional worker.

Note: All the wire must be copper- core wire.

The wiring work should commissioned to a qualified worker according to the
installation manual to perform. The air conditioner must use special power
circuit. Insufficient power capacity or improper
work may cause electric shock and fire.
When wiring, the power cable must use the specified cable to firmly connect
and fix. Do not let the external force of the cable transfer to the terminal block.
Improper connection or fixation may
cause heat and fire, etc. accident.
Must connect with grounding wire.
Connect with grounding wire as specified. Unreliable grounding may lead to
electric shock. Do not connect the grounding
wire on the gas pipe, city water pipe,
lightning rod or telephone line.
The breaker of the air conditioner should be all-pole
swith,and the distance between its two contacts should
be no less 3mm.
The Creepage breaker must be installed.
If not installing Creepage breaker may easily cause
electric shock. After wiring, please power on the unit to detect electricity leakage.
If the power cable is damaged, in order to avoid danger, it must be changed by
the manufacturer or its repair center or the similar professional personnel. For
the power cable of indoor unit, please mate it according to the manual of indoor
unit.
Avoid the electric wire touching the high temperature part of the connection pipe,
in order not to the insulation part of the cable be melted causing accidents.
After connecting to the terminal block, the connection wire should be bent to a
U-shaped bend and use wire presser to fix.
The control connection wire and the refrigerant pipe can be arranged and fixed
together.
Before performing vacuumizing the refrigerant pipe system, do not power on
the outdoor unit,
The power cable of indoor unit and the connection wire of indoor and outdoor
unit should be complied with what the operation manual of indoor unit specified.
The connection of power cable should be complied with the local wiring regulations.

1.Power supply
The air conditioner must use a special power circuit and grounding wire.
The wiring should be done by a qualified electrician according to the wiring
rules specified by national standard
An creepage breaker should be installed.
The grounding wire and null wire of receptacle should be strictly separated.
It is incorrect to connect the null wire with grounding wire.
The connection method of power cord is H07RN-F connection. If the power
cable is damaged, in order to avoid danger, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its specified repair center of the same qualified worker.
Electric wiring
(1)Open the stop valve of gas pipe.
(2)Open the stop valve of liquid pipe.
(3)Use wire controller to set to COOLING operation, press ON/OFF button to
start operation.
(4)Confirm the function of the unit according this manual.
2. Cut and flaring method
Use pipe cutter to cut the pipe, the burrs must be removed.
After inserting the flarer, perform flared nut.

Test run
The following items must be noticed carefully during installation. After
