before using this Breadmaker.
•Before plugging your Breadmaker into the mains, visually check
that the steamer is intact and has not suffered any transit

with that of the local network before connecting the appliance
to the mains power supply.
•Close supervision is required when using this appliance near
children.
•Never leave this appliance within reach of children.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental
capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use if the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

•Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children

•It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the appliance
has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst being repaired.
•If the power cable is damaged, it should only be replaced by

risk.

•DO NOT push objects into any openings as damage to the
appliance and/or electric shock may occur.

Whilst the Breadmaker is running through the selected program it will run
through the following processes:
Time Delay –Preheat –Knead –Rest –Knead –Ferment –Bake –Keep Warm - End
Loaf: Press the Loaf button, the beeper will beep with each press,
select from the following loaf size options:
500g (1.0LB), 750g (1.5LB) or 1000g (2LB)
Loaf size can only be adjusted for options 1-9 from the above
Menu.
Colour: Press the Colour button, the beeper will beep with each
press, select from the following colour options:
Light/Medium/Dark
Start/Stop/Pause: Press the start/stop/pause button to start, stop
or pause the machine.
+: Press the + button to add 10 minutes to the cooking time, the beeper will
beep once for each button press. If the + button is pressed and then held the
time will rapidly increase in 10 minute increments.
-: Press the - button to reduce 10 minutes to the cooking time, the beeper
will beep once for each button press. If the - button is pressed and then held
the time will rapidly decrease in 10 minute increments.

Menu: Press the Menu button, a beep will be heard with each press,
select from the following menu options:

Time Delay: The Breadmaker has a time delay function, e.g. you placed all
the ingredients into the Breadmaker as per chosen recipe at 8:30pm and you
wanted to have fresh ready-made bread in the morning around 7:00am. The
time delay for this would be 10 hours and 30 minutes from 8:30pm to 7:00
am the following day, to set the time delay use the “+” and “–“ to set, after
setting the time press the Start/Stop/Pause button.
The time displayed on the screen is set to 10 hours and 30 minutes, this
includes cooking time.
This function is not suitable for recipes which call for the use of eggs.
For recipes using yeast, it is recommended to cover yeast under flour to
maintain the activity of the yeast.
Automatic Dispenser: The Breadmaker has an automatic dispersal tray for
Fruit, Seeds and or Nuts. To use this accessory where the recipe may call for
these ingredients, please follow these instruction:
1. Open the Lid (2) of the Breadmaker, hold the Automatic Dispenser (4)
and press the clip used to secure in place and carefully remove from the
lid housing (see fig. 1).
2. Open the cover of the Automatic Dispenser (4) (see fig. 2)
3. Add the desired ingredients e.g. Fruit, Nuts or Seeds and then close the
cover (see fig.3)
4. Replace the Automatic Dispenser (4) into the lid housing (see fig. 4)

Before the First Use of Your Breadmaker
1.Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
2.Ensure all parts are present (if applicable) see Description of Parts above.
3.Wash the Lid (2), the Bread Basket (7) in warm soapy water. Rinse and allow to
dry before use.

Setting up Your Breadmaker
1.Do not yet insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
2.Place the bread maker on a solid, level heat resistant
surface at a comfortable height for the user.
3.Ensure that the Bread Basket (7) is firmly in place,
twist clockwise to lock into place. The Paddle (c) should
sit firmly on the spindle in the centre of the Bread
Basket (7).
4.Start adding the ingredients for your chosen bread
recipe to the Bread Basket (7) in the following sequence:
water, flour, eggs and others according to the recipe
(below) Add the yeast to the centre of the mixture if
using a program with the delay function otherwise if no
delay function is selected then place the yeast on the top
of the mixture in order not to mix the yeast with water,
salt and sugar, it is important that the yeast does not
come into contact with the wet ingredients; otherwise
the dough will not rise well enough.
When plugged into the mains, the Display (5) will display the default menu:
1.5LB/Medium Colour/Soft Bread
5.Close the Lid (2) of the bread maker.
6.Insert the mains plug (with dry hands) into the mains
socket, the unit will then beep to confirm the unit has
powered up. The LCD display will show 1.5LB/Medium
Colour/Soft Bread.
7.Select the Menu option (1-19) on the Control Panel (6),
select your Bread Colour and Loaf using the arrows on the
Display (5).
8.If desired at this point a time delay can be set, please refer
to above information regarding this function. If you are going straight to the cooking
process please skip this current step by pressing the Start/Stop button.

9.Press the Start/Stop button on the Control Panel (6) and the bread maker will begin
to go through the process of kneading the dough.
10.Once the baking is complete, the bread maker will beep and
the Display (5) will show 0:00 and the unit will then go into keep
warm mode for a period of 1 hour. The symbol “:” will continue to
flash. After 1 hour the keep warm mode will beep and will then
return to its standby state. To cancel the keep warm mode at any
point, simply press and hold the On/Off button until a beep sound
is given and the unit will go into standby mode.
11.After the program has finished, unplug from the mains socket before taking out
the bread. Use an oven glove or similar, twist the Bread Basket (7) anti-clockwise and
lift from the machine.
12.Shake the Bread Basket (7) lightly and remove the bread, check that the Paddle (c)
has not come out with the bread.
If the Paddle (c) is stuck in the bread, it can be difficult to remove. You can use the
Paddle Hook (d) accessory to dislodge the Paddle (c) with ease,
A.Insert the Paddle Hook (d) into the centre hole of the
Paddle (c).
B.Gently pull the Paddle Hook (d) to dislodge the Paddle (c)
from the bread.

This function is used to proof doughs only.
Tbsp denotes Tablespoon, Tsp denotes Teaspoon
WARNING! Take care when removing the bread basket as it will get hot
during use. Use heat resistant oven gloves to prevent injury.
WARNING! Voltage is still present even when the unit is in standby mode (off),
to completely turn off the bread maker remove the mains plug from mains power
supply.
Care and Maintenance
•Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance, ensure that the Breadmaker is
unplugged from the mains power supply and has fully cooled.
•Do not clean any part of your Breadmaker in a dishwasher.
•Do not submerge any part of the main body or mains cable in water or any other
liquids.
•Wipe clean the outside of the main body and lid with a soft damp cloth.
•Remove the bread basket from the bread maker by twisting and pulling upwards
from the handle. Wash the bread basket in warm soapy water and dry
thoroughly afterwards.
•Never clean any part of the Breadmaker with harsh or abrasive chemicals.

Non-Wireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-wireable plug fitted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming
to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who
will be pleased to do this for you. If you need to remove the plug –DISCONNECT
FROM THE MAINS –and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose
of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as
there is a danger of electric shock.
