Read this user's guide carefully before you start using HALFA Bluetooth Headset.

Features
Turn the Unit ON/OFF
Headset On
1. Pressing down the MFB for 3 seconds. The BTD-6 headset will turn ON. When it is ON, a
low-high tone is heard and the Indicator A(blue LED) will flash 5 times and then go on. After
releasing the MFB, the light will blink that Indicates the unit is waiting for a call(standby
mode).
2. If the Indicator A turns red, it means that the battery on the headset is low. Re-charge the
headset immediately.
Headset Off
Press the MFB for about 3 seconds and it will be turned OFF. A high-low tone will be heard and
the Indicator A will flash red light 5 times and then go out. Turn off the headset is necessary to
conserve battery life if the headset will not be used for a long time.
Pairing to the Phone
Before use, the headset must be paired with the phone. Pairing needs to be done only once.
When the phone and the unit have been paired, connecting to the phone will be used by pressing
the MFB of the headset once every time the phone is turned on for use.
Enter into Pairing Mode
(a)First, this unit must be preset under standby mode – IndicatorA (blue LED) blinks every 3
seconds.
(b)To enter into pairing mode,
(1) First, set this unit under OFF mode.(To enter into OFF mode, please press the MFB for
3 seconds until Indicator A (red LED) flashes 3 times and then goes off. A high-low tone
will sound when the phone is turning off.)
(2)PressMFB for 5 seconds(approx.)until Indicator A(blue LED) blinks 10 times and then
goes into blue and red flash interchanged. Meanwhile, two beeps come and the Headset
will be in “pairing mode”.
(3) Key in the PIN Code “1234”.(This can be customized upon customer’s request.)Press
“ OK’ to complete Pairing.(Pairing procedure might be varied because of different
phones. Therefore, users are recommended to refer to their individual Phone type User’s
Manual.)Meanwhile, this unit is under standby mode-Indicator A (blue LED) blinks
every 3 seconds, or in connection status - Indicator A (blue LED) blinks 3 times in every 3
seconds (Headset in standby mode or in connection status depends on the cellular
phone) on your Bluetooth enabled cellular phone after you have preset to pairing mode
with headset.
Answering/Receiving a call

When phone is receiving a call, the phone ring tone will be heard on the headset, pressing the

MFB on the headset once to answer the call. Press MFB again will hang-up and terminate the
call.
Making a call (voice dialing)
(1) Press the headset MFB to activate the voice dialing.
(2) A beep will be heard then prompt the user to say the name of the person to call.
(3) Say the name after beep.
(4) The phone will place the call automatically. In case the phone does not recognize the name
spoken, the steps above may be repeated.
(5) Press the MFB again to terminate the call
(6) If the desired number to be dialed has no voice tag, normal dialing also can be done by using
the keypad on the Bluetooth enabled phone. When connected, press the MFB again will
hang-up and terminate the call.
Charging
Plug the USB cable into the 8-pin jack on the bottom of the Headset, and plug the other end into
the USB port of Notebook/PC for power. In charging condition, the Indicator B (red LED) of the
Headset will be on. It takes about 2 hours to charge the Headset. The Indicator B (red LED) will
disappear after charging is complete.
Last Call Redial
Press the volume down (-) key on the headset over 2 seconds and release after a ring tone. The
redial will be in process.
Hold Function
Long press (2 sec.) the volume down (-) key to hold the call while on the line.
Mute Function
In call active, press the volume down (-) key and up (+) key coincidentally it will mute the MIC. If
press either the volume down (-) or up (+) again, it will go back to the normal condition.
Transfer Function
In call active, long press the volume up (+) key it will transfer the call to cellule phone. IF long
press the volume up (+) key again the call will go back to the headset.
