Congratulations on your purchase of the SaltAir UV- Home Salt Therapy ultrasonic air salinizer!
SaltAir UV is an ultrasonic particles dispenser using ultrasonic frequency vibration theory to transform the saline
solution into 1-5 microns salt particles. These particles are able to penetrate deep into the lungs, to alveoli, and help
to clear secretions, fight bacteria, viruses and fungus, reduce inflammation, improve bloodstream oxygenation and
humidify the entire respiratory tract.
Salt therapy has been successfully used in the treatment of chronic or acute respiratory diseases, as well in
prevention. It helps to reduce inflammation, unclog blockages, clean the respiratory system and improve breathing. It
also prevents the development of respiratory diseases, and protects against cold and flu viruses by maintaining a
good hygiene throughout the entire respiratory system.
Salt therapy is safe for all people and ages, including infants and pregnant women. It does not interact with any salt
free diet, medication or medical condition including high blood pressure. The tiny particles of salt deposit on the
respiratory mucosa and come off with mucus. Salt therapy can also be used for respiratory problems in pets.
SaltAir UV air salinizer comes with an electric adaptor, instruction manual, measuring cup and free three month
supply of natural rock salt for the saline solution. This device is easy to use. Just plug-in and use it over night. Place
the device close to your bed, same level with your body, on a night table and enjoy the wonderful effect of natural salt
therapy. The SaltAir UV device is very quiet and will not disturb your sleep. For best results, we recommend continuous
use
Place the device on a level, stable and dry surface where it will be used (nightstand)
and remove the upper cover and the inside water cover. (Fig 1). Connect the AC
adapter to the base. (Fig 2)
In order to fill the water tank, use the measuring cup provided and fill the water tank
up to 300ml with water. (Fig 3)
Use one measuring cup of water to dissolve ½ teaspoon rock salt and pour the saline
solution into the water tank, over the existing water, not exceeding the Max level. It is
normal to have deposited impurities in the cup after dissolving the rock salt that is
natural and unprocessed – please discard those. NEVER exceed the Max level!
NEVER fill in water during operation! If the tap water is hard or contains chlorine it is
better to use bottled water. (Fig 4)
Start as recommended with ½ teaspoon of rock salt and increase the amount if
needed, at the next refill. Do not exceed 1 teaspoon of rock salt for the whole water
tank capacity but rather maximize your exposure to salt therapy.
Wipe dry the water tank using a paper towel. Place the water cover (doughnut shape)
over the surface of the water and close the unit with the upper cover. (Fig 5)
Plug in the electric adaptor. (Fig 6)
Push the ON/OFF button. The power LED turns ‘On’ and the device will start working.
The microscopic salt particles come out of the device through the top opening. Mist
is not very visible and this is normal! Only a light air stream will be felt coming out
of the device. (Fig 7)
TIMER – you can set the unit to work for 3h, 6h, 9h, ON, OFF when consecutively
pressing the button. (Fig 8)
LIGHT – offers two UV light intensity for water treatment against bacteria or mold; you
can use it at night during functioning or during the day when the unit is OFF. (Fig 9)

The device stops automatically when there is no more saline solution in the tank. Expect the water tank to empty
in about 5-9 nights of use. To continue to use, refill the tank with saline solution.
Do not tilt or move the unit or remove the top covering after is filled or in use.
If there is no water in the water tank, pressing the ON/OFF will cause the unit to “beep” to remind you to add water.
The unit will not work without water.

Maintenance, Cleaning and Storage
Unplug the device and remove the cover.
Pour out any remaining water on the DRAIN SIDE of the tank, assuring that no water gets into the AIR OUTLET. Do
not immerse the unit under water! Clean the water tank at each refill using a soft cloth and clean water. Do not use
petroleum, paint thinner or other chemicals for cleaning.
Gently clean the ultrasonic cell (the penny size white round piece on the bottom of the base), using a soft cloth or
cotton bud and clean water. If there are calcareous deposits you can use 1 tablespoon of citric acid or 50 ml white
cleaning vinegar in 200 ml water to clean the water tank and the ultrasonic cell. You can do this only every 2-3
months or when there are visible deposits.
Cover has an inner cover that can also be removed for cleaning. Find the grip and pull the inner cover out; after
cleaning, insert first the air outlet opening and then press at the grip side until you hear the ‘click’.

For storage, clean the device carefully as instructed. After it is dry, put the device in its original packaging and keep
it in a cool, dry place.

VERY IMPORTANT: Use only a soft cloth to clean the ultrasonic cell. Never touch it with sharp or hard
objects. NEVER immerse the base into water and assure no water gets inside through the AIR OUTLET or
other openings. DO NOT move the device from one place to another once it is filled. Always take the cover
off and empty before moving it to another location.

Safety Cautions
TROUBLESHOOTING
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not immerse this device in water; for assistance refer to qualified
personnel only; never attempt to repair the device yourself.
Adapter is part of the equipment. Put the device near the socket. If an extension cord is used it must be suitable to
the power consumption of the device, otherwise overheating will occur.
The adapter insulate the device from the mains supply. Do not use in a place where it is difficult to disconnect from
the mains supply.
Do not place this device close to other electric devices which may be damaged or cause electric hazard in case of
an accidental saline solution spill.
Do not fill the water tank with water over 40℃to avoid discoloration or deformation.
When the ambient temperature is below 0℃pour out the water from the device.
Use only the measuring cup provided to add water to the tank, never fill directly from the tap.
Keep the device away from direct sunlight and heat sources, air conditioners or fans.
The device must be placed on a hard surface to assure proper air flow underneath.
Do not unplug with wet hand.
If there is an accidental spill, unplug the device first.
Do not touch the ultrasonic cell while the device is working.
Do not touch adapter output when the device is working.
Do not tilt or move the device after is filled or in use - it may cause water to get over electric parts and cause malfunc-
tion.
Do not use for more than 10 hours at a time. Wait 60 minutes before restart to avoid damaging the ultrasonic cell.
This device is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device by
a person responsible for their safety.
Never allow it to be used by handicapped children or disabled individuals.
Push the power button 'OFF' and unplug the adapter from the mains supply to safely terminate the operation.
Accidental leakage / unit tipped over: turn OFF the power and remove cover; pour out any remaining water, tap
dry the unit and let it dry for 24 hours before use.

SaltAir UV comes with one year manufacturer warranty. Halosense Inc. repairs or replaces equipment that proves to
be defective during the warranty period. Warranty includes parts and labor.
Manufacturer will provide circuit diagrams, component part lists, descriptions, calibration instructions to assist
service in parts repair.
The warranty provided herein does not cover equipment subjected to abuse, misuse, accident, alteration, neglect,
or unauthorized repair or installation. Halosense Inc determines if the cause of defect is due to a manufacturing
malfunction or customer misuse. Note: The device has to be used only with our provided rock salt for the warranty to
be in effect. Using a different kind of salt will void the warranty, as it can affect negatively the lifetime of the device and
the health results!

AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR

The ULTRASONIC AIR SALINIZER is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF
disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of the ULTRASONIC AIR SALINIZER can help prevent
electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communica-
tions equipment (transmitters) and the ULTRASONIC AIR SALINIZER as recommended below, according to the
maximum output power of the communications equipment.

SaltAir UV est un distributeur de particules ultrasonore utilisant la théorie de la vibration ultrasonore de fréquence pour
transformer la solution saline en particules de sel de 1-5 microns. Ces particules sont capables de pénétrer profondé-

toire et à améliorer la respiration. Il empêche également le développement de maladies respiratoires et protège

La thérapie au sel est sans danger pour toutes les personnes et tous les âges, y compris les nourrissons et les
femmes enceintes. Il n'interagit pas avec les régimes, les médicaments ni les problèmes de santé, y compris
l'hypertension artérielle, sans sel. Les minuscules particules de sel se déposent sur la muqueuse respiratoire et se
détachent avec le mucus. La thérapie au sel peut également être utilisée pour des problèmes respiratoires chez les

SaltAir UV le salinisateur d’air est fourni avec un adaptateur électrique, un manuel d'utilisation, une tasse à mesurer
et un approvisionnement gratuit de trois mois de sel gemme naturel pour la solution saline.
Cet appareil est facile à utiliser. Il suffit de brancher et de l'utiliser toute la nuit. Placez l'appareil près de votre lit, au
même niveau que votre corps, sur une table de nuit et profitez du merveilleux effet de la thérapie au sel naturel. Le
dispositif SaltAir UV est très silencieux et ne perturbe pas votre sommeil. Pour de meilleurs résultats, nous recomman-
dons une utilisation continue.
Placez l'appareil sur une surface plane, stable et sèche sur laquelle il sera utilisé
(table de nuit) et retirez le couvercle supérieur et le couvercle d'eau intérieur. (Fig. 1).
Connectez l’adaptateur secteur à la base. (Fig 2)
Afin de remplir le réservoir d'eau, utilisez la tasse à mesurer fournie et remplissez le
réservoir d'eau jusqu'à 300 ml avec de l'eau. (Fig 3)
Utilisez une tasse à mesurer d’eau pour dissoudre ½ cuillère à thé de sel gemme et
versez la solution saline dans le réservoir d’eau, sur l’eau existante, sans dépasser le
niveau maximal. Il est normal d’avoir déposé des impuretés dans la tasse après avoir
dissous le sel gemme, naturel et non traité - veuillez les jeter. NE JAMAIS dépasser
le niveau maximum! NE JAMAIS remplir d'eau pendant le fonctionnement! Si l'eau du
robinet est dure ou contient du chlore, il est préférable d'utiliser de l'eau en bouteille.

Commencez comme recommandé avec ½ cuillerée à thé de sel et augmentez-la au
besoin, lors de la prochaine recharge. Ne dépassez pas 1 cuillère à thé de sel gemme
pour toute la capacité du réservoir d'eau, mais optimisez votre exposition au
traitement par le sel.
Essuyez le réservoir d'eau avec une serviette en papier. Placez le couvercle de l'eau
(forme de beignet) sur la surface de l'eau et fermez l'appareil avec le couvercle
supérieur. (Fig 5)
Branchez l'adaptateur électrique. (Fig 6)
Appuyez sur le bouton ON / OFF. Le voyant d’alimentation s’allume et le périphérique
commencera à fonctionner. Les particules de sel microscopiques sortent de l'appareil
par l'ouverture supérieure. La brume n'est pas très visible et c'est normal! Seul un
léger courant d'air sera ressenti à la sortie de l'appareil. (Fig 7)

L'appareil s'arrête automatiquement lorsqu'il n'y a plus de solution saline dans le réservoir. Attendez-vous à ce que
le réservoir d'eau se vide dans environ 5 à 9 nuits d'utilisation. Pour continuer à utiliser, remplissez le réservoir
avec une solution saline.
N'inclinez pas, ne déplacez pas l'appareil et ne retirez pas le revêtement supérieur après le remplissage ou l'utilisa-
tion. S'il n'y a pas d'eau dans le réservoir d'eau, appuyer sur ON / OFF fera clignoter l'appareil pour vous rappeler
d'ajouter de l'eau. L'unité ne fonctionnera pas sans eau.

Maintenance, Nettoyage et Stockage
Débranchez l'appareil et retirez le cache.
Versez toute l'eau restante sur DRAIN SIDE du réservoir, en veillant à ce que de l'eau ne pénètre pas dans la sortie
d'air (AIR OUTLET). Ne pas plonger l'appareil sous l'eau! Nettoyez le réservoir d’eau à chaque remplissage avec un
chiffon doux et de l’eau propre. N'utilisez pas de pétrole, de diluant à peinture ou d'autres produits chimiques pour
le nettoyage.
Nettoyez délicatement la cellule à ultrasons (pièce ronde blanche de la taille d'un penny au bas de la base) à l'aide
d'un chiffon doux ou d'un coton-tige et d'eau claire. S'il y a des dépôts calcaires, vous pouvez utiliser 1 cuillère à
soupe d'acide citrique ou 50 ml de vinaigre blanc dans 200 ml d'eau pour nettoyer le réservoir d'eau et la cellule à
ultrasons. Vous pouvez le faire uniquement tous les 2-3 mois ou lorsqu'il y a des dépôts visibles.
La couverture a une couverture intérieure qui peut également être enlevée pour le nettoyage. Trouvez la poignée et
retirez le couvercle intérieur. Après le nettoyage, insérez d’abord l’ouverture de sortie d’air, puis appuyez du côté de
la poignée jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un déclic.

Pour le stockage, nettoyez soigneusement l’appareil conformément aux instructions. Une fois sec, placez l’appareil
dans son emballage d’origine et conservez-le dans un endroit frais et sec.

TRÈS IMPORTANT: Utilisez uniquement un chiffon doux pour nettoyer la cellule à ultrasons. Ne le touchez
jamais avec des objets pointus ou durs. N'immergez JAMAIS la base dans l'eau et assurez-vous qu'aucune
eau ne pénètre à l'intérieur par la sortie d'air ou d'autres ouvertures. NE déplacez PAS l'appareil d'un
endroit à un autre une fois rempli. Enlevez toujours le couvercle et videz-le avant de le déplacer ailleurs.

DÉPANNAGE
Pour réduire les risques d’incendie ou de choc électrique, ne plongez pas cet appareil dans l’eau; pour assistance,
s'adresser à un personnel qualifié uniquement; n'essayez jamais de réparer vous-même l'appareil.
L'adaptateur fait partie de l'équipement. Placez l'appareil près de la prise. Si une rallonge est utilisée, elle doit être
adaptée à la consommation électrique de l'appareil, sinon une surchauffe risque de se produire.
L'adaptateur isole l'appareil de l'alimentation secteur. Ne pas utiliser dans un endroit où il est difficile de débrancher
du secteur.
Ne placez pas cet appareil à proximité d'autres appareils électriques qui pourraient être endommagés ou présenter
un risque électrique en cas de déversement accidentel de solution saline.
Ne remplissez pas le réservoir avec de l'eau à plus de 40 ° C pour éviter toute décoloration ou déformation.
Lorsque la température ambiante est inférieure à 0 ℃, videz l'eau de l'appareil.
Utilisez uniquement le gobelet gradué fourni pour ajouter de l’eau dans le réservoir.
Ne remplissez jamais directement du robinet.
Gardez l'appareil à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil et des sources de chaleur, climatiseurs ou ventilateurs.
L'appareil doit être placé sur une surface dure pour assurer une circulation d'air adéquate en dessous.

Ne pas utiliser plus de 10 heures à la fois. Attendez 60 minutes avant de redémarrer pour éviter d'endommager la
cellule à ultrasons.
Cet appareil n'est pas destiné à être utilisé par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou
mentales réduites, ou manquant d'expérience et de connaissances, à moins qu'elles n'aient reçu une supervision ou

Appuyez sur le bouton d'alimentation 'OFF' et débranchez l'adaptateur du secteur pour mettre fin à l'opération en
toute sécurité.
Fuite accidentelle / renversement de l'appareil: mettez l'appareil hors tension et retirez le couvercle; vider toute
l'eau restante, sécher l'appareil et le laisser sécher pendant 24 heures avant de l'utiliser.
