3. Safety Notes
•The product is intended for private, non-
commercial use only.
•Protect the product from dirt, moisture
and overheating, and only use it in adry
environment.
•Donot use the product in the immediate
vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or
in direct sunlight.
•Donot use the product in areas where
the use of electronic devices is not
permitted.
•Since the battery is integrated and cannot
be removed, you will need to dispose
of the product as awhole. Do this in
compliance with the legal requirements.
•Donot drop the product and do not
expose it to any major shocks.
•Donot attempt to service or repair the
product yourself.Leave any and all service
work to qualied experts.
•Donot open the device or continue to
operate it if it becomes damaged.
•Keep the packaging material out of
the reach of children due to the risk of
suffocation.
•Beconsiderate. Loud volumes can have a
detrimental effect on your surroundings.
•Dispose of packaging material
immediately according to locally

4. Switching on the product
4.1 Switching on the product
•Slide the On/off switch (8) to the ON
position to switch the speaker on.
•The device emits asound to conrm that
it is ready for use; the display lights up.
4.2 Switching off the product
•Slide the On/off switch (8) to the OFF
position to switch the speaker off.
•The display lighting goes out.
Note –Automatic shutdown
•Note that the speaker will
automatically turn off after 10 minutes
without action (no audio playback/no
Bluetooth
®
function).

4.3 Battery charging function
Warning –rechargeable
battery
•Only use suitable charging devices
with USB connections for charging.
•Asarule, do not use charging devices
or USB connections that aredefective
and do not try to repair them yourself.
•Avoid storing, charging or using
batteries in extreme temperatures.
•When stored over along period of
time, batteries should be charged
regularly (at least every three months).
•Connect the included Micro-USB charging
cable to the speaker’s Micro-USB
port (10).
•Connect the unused plug on the Micro-
USB cable to an available USB port on
your computer or another suitable USB
device. Please refer to the operating
instructions for the charger used.
•The battery indicator (15) ashes
during charging. When the battery is fully
charged, the battery indicator (15)
shows full and is constantly lit.
•Please charge the speaker for at least 4
hours beforeusing it for the rst time.
Note –Charging
•Ittakes about 3hours to fully charge
the battery.
•The speaker’sbattery can be charged
whether the speaker is on or off.
•The actual battery life varies depending
on use of the device, the settings and
the ambient conditions (rechargeable
batteries have alimited service life).
4.4 Audio playback via the included
audio cable (3.5 mm jack)
•Ensurethat the speaker is turned off.
•Connect your mobile terminal device
(MP3 player,smartphone, etc.) and the
AUX input (9) of the speaker using the
included 3.5 mm audio cable.
•Set the volume on your terminal device
to alow level.
•Switch on the speaker as described in
4.1
Switching on the product .
•Start and control audio playback on the
connected terminal device accordingly.
•Ifthe device does not automatically start
in AUX mode, press the function
button (3) repeatedly until the device
uses the desired source for playback.

•Press and hold the Track/Volume
button (5) to increase the volume.
•Press and hold the Track/Volume
button (4) to reduce the volume.
•Brieypress the function button (6)
to pause playback.
Note
•The speaker is only suitable for the
playback of MP3 les.

Note
•Check whether your mobile device
(MP3 player,mobile phone, etc.) is
Bluetooth

-capable.
•Ifnot, you can only use the speaker
with the included audio cable.
•Note that the maximum range for
Bluetooth

is 10 metres without
obstacles such as walls, people, etc.
•Make surethat your
Bluetooth
®
-capable terminal device is
on and Bluetooth
®
is activated.
•Make surethat your
Bluetooth
®
-capable terminal device is
visible for other Bluetooth
®
devices.
•Make surethat the speaker is located
within the
Bluetooth
®
range of max.
10 metres.
•Switch on the speaker as described in
4.1
Switching on the product .
•The device emits an acoustic signal;
the Bluetooth

mode indicator
(13) begins to ash. If the device does
not automatically start in Bluetooth
®
mode, press the function button
(3) repeatedly until an acoustic signal
sounds. The device then searches
automatically for aconnection.
•Open the Bluetooth

settings on your
terminal device and wait until ‘Pocket
Clock’ appears in the list of
Bluetooth
®
devices found.
•Select ‘Pocket Clock’ and wait until the
speaker is listed as connected in the
Bluetooth
®
settings on your terminal
device. An acoustic signal conrms that
•connection was successful.
•The Bluetooth
®
mode indicator (13)
stops ashing and is now constantly lit.

4.6 Automatic

have been paired, aconnection

following:
•Check the Bluetooth

settings of your
terminal device to see whether ‘Pocket
Clock’ is connected. If not, repeat the
steps listed under Bluetooth
®
pairing.
•Check whether your terminal device
and the speaker areless than 10
metres apart. If not, move them closer
together.
•Check whether obstacles areimpairing
the range. If so, move the devices
closer together.

4.7 Audio playback (via Bluetooth
®
)
Start and control audio playback on the
connected terminal device accordingly.
Alternatively,audio playback can also be
controlled on the speaker (if the connected
device supports this function).
•Press the function button (6) to start
or pause audio playback.
•Brieypress the Track /Volume
button (5) to play the next track. Briey
press the Track /Volume button (4) to
play the previous track.
•Press and hold the Track/Volume
button (5) to increase the volume.
•Press and hold the Track/Volume
button (4) to reduce the volume.
4.8 Audio playback (via microSD card)
Youcan, alternatively,start audio playback
directly from amicroSD card.
•Todoso, insert amicroSD cardwith your
audio les into the slot for the microSD
cardslot (11).
•Ifthe device does not automatically start
in microSD mode, press the function
button (3) repeatedly until an acoustic
signal sounds.
•Track selection and volume control in
this mode work in the same way as
described in 4.7 Audio playback (via
Bluetooth
®
)
4.9 Audio playback (via USB device)
Youcan, alternatively,start audio playback
directly from aUSB storage device (for
example, USB stick).
To do so, insert aUSB storage device with
your audio les into the USB Type-A(host)
reader (12).
•Ifthe device does not automatically
start in USB mode, press the function
button (3) repeatedly until an acoustic
signal sounds.
Track selection and volume control in this
mode work in the same way as described in
4.7 Audio playback (via Bluetooth
®
) .
4.10 Audio playback (via FM radio)
•Connect the 3.5 mm antenna cable
(supplied) to the AUX input (9) of the
speaker to improve signal reception.
•Switch on the speaker as described in
4.1
Switching on the product .
•Press the function button (3) repeatedly
until FM is shown on the display.
•Start and control audio playback on the
connected terminal device accordingly.
•Press the function button (6) to start
the automatic station search.

•The device now searches for radio
stations in the reception range and
stores them. This process can take afew
minutes. Once the station search has
nished, you can select aradio station.
•Press the function button (6) to start
the station search again if necessary.
•Brieypress the Track /Volume
button (5) to switch to the next radio
station.
•Brieypress the Track /Volume
button (4) to switch to the previous
radio station.
Volume control in this mode works in
the same way as described in 4.7 Audio
playback (via Bluetooth
®
) .
5. Hands-free function
Youcan use the speaker as ahands-free set
for your mobile phone. Forthis function,
the mobile phone must be connected to the
speaker via
Bluetooth
®
.
•Press the function button (2) once to
answer an incoming call.
••Press the function button (2) twice
to reject the incoming call.
••If you would like to end acall, press the
function button (2) once.
Note –Call quality
•Toincrease the call quality,make sure
that you arenear the speaker with
your mobile phone during the call.
6. Manually setting the time/alarm
6.1 Manually setting the time
•Press the function button (1) to
begin setting the time manually.The
hours display begins to ash.
•Set the following information in the
order listed:
•hour,minute
•Toselect the individual values, press
the Track /Volume button (5) or
the Track /Volume button (4) and
conrm each selection by pressing the
function button (6).
•Press the function button (1) to exit
the settings.
•The settings will automatically close if
thereisnoentry for 30 seconds.

6.2 Manually setting the alarm
•Set the current time as described in
6.1
Manually setting the time .
•After setting the time, press the
function button (6). The hours display
begins to ash.
•Press the Track/Volume button (5)
or the Track /Volume button (4) to
select the hour for the alarm time and
conrm your selection by pressing the
function button (6). The minutes
display begins to ash.
•Repeat the process to set the minutes
for the alarm time. Conrm the selected
minutes by pressing the function
button (6).
•Then press the function button (6) to
activate/deactivate the alarm.
•Use the Track /Volume button (5)
or the Track /Volume button (4)
to select ON/OFF and thereby activate/
deactivate the alarm.
•When the alarm is activated, is shown
in the display.
•Press the function button (1) to exit
the settings.
•Press any button to stop the alarm.
Otherwise, it will stop automatically after
4minutes.
7. Factory settings
To reset the speaker to the factory default
settings, proceed as follows:
•Press and hold the function button
(6) for about 6seconds.
•All settings you made aredeleted.
Note
•Resetting to the factory default
settings can solve some problems and
malfunctions.
•However,all settings made previously
(time, alarm times, etc.) are
permanently deleted.
8. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with aslightly damp,
lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive
cleaning agents.

4. Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb
4.1 Einschalten
•Schieben Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter (8)
auf die Position ON,umden Lautsprecher
einzuschalten.
•Eine akustisches Signal bestätigt die
Betriebsbereitschaft, das Display beginnt
zu leuchten.
4.2 Ausschalten
•Schieben Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter
(8) auf die Position OFF,umden
Lautsprecher auszuschalten.
•Die Displaybeleuchtung erlischt.

Hinweis –Automatisches
Ausschalten
•Beachten Sie, dass sich der
Lautsprecher nach 10 Minuten ohne
Aktion (keine Audiowiedergabe/ keine
Bluetooth
®
Funktion) abschaltet.
4.3 Akkulade-Funktion.
Warnung –Akku
•Verwenden Sie nur geeignete
Ladegeräte mit USB Anschlüssen zum
Auaden.
•Verwenden Sie defekte Ladegeräte
oder USB Anschlüsse generell nicht
mehr und versuchen Sie nicht, diese
zu reparieren.
•Vermeiden Sie Lagerung, Laden und
Benutzung bei extremen Temperaturen.
•Laden Sie bei längerer Lagerung
regelmäßig (mind. vierteljährig) nach.
•Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte
Micro-USB-Ladekabel am Micro-USB-
Anschluss (10) des Lautsprechers an.
•Schließen Sie den freien Stecker des
Micro-USB-Kabels an einer freien
USB Buchse Ihres Computers oder
einem anderen geeigneten USB-
Endgerät an. Beachten Sie hierzu die
Bedienungsanleitung des verwendeten
Ladegeräts.
•Die Batterieanzeige (15) blinkt während
des aktiven Ladevorgangs. Ist der Akku
vollständig geladen, leuchtet die volle
Batterieanzeige (15) dauerhaft.
•Bitte laden Sie den Lautsprecher vor
dem ersten Gebrauch mindestens 4
Stunden auf.
Hinweis –Ladevorgang
•Ein kompletter Ladevorgang dauert
ca. 3Stunden.
•Der Akku des Lautsprechers
kann sowohl in ein- als auch
ausgeschaltetem Zustand geladen
werden.
•Die tatsächliche Akkulaufzeit
variiert je nach Nutzung des
Gerätes, den Einstellungen und
Umgebungsbedingungen (Akkus haben
eine begrenzte Lebensdauer).

4.4 Audiowiedergabe über das
beiliegende Audiokabel (3.5mm-
Klinke)
•Stellen Sie sicher,dass der Lautsprecher
ausgeschaltet ist.
•Verbinden Sie Ihr mobiles Endgerät (MP3-
Player,Smartphone, etc.) und den AUX-
Eingang (9) des Lautsprechers mittels des
beiliegenden 3,5mm-Audiokabels.
•Stellen Sie die Lautstärke Ihres Endgerätes
auf ein niedriges Niveau ein.
•Schalten Sie den Lautsprecher -wie in
4.1 Einschalten beschrieben –ein.
•Starten und steuern Sie die
Audiowiedergabe entsprechend auf dem
angeschlossenen Endgerät.
•Falls das Gerät nicht automatisch
im AUX-Modus startet, drücken Sie
wiederholt die Funktionstaste (3),
bis die Wiedergabe von der gewünschten
Quelle erfolgt.
•Halten Sie die Plus-Taste (5) gedrückt,
um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen.
•Halten Sie die Minus-Taste (4)
gedrückt, um die Lautstärke zu
reduzieren.
•Drücken Sie kurz die Funktionstaste
(6), um die Wiedergabe zu pausieren.

Wiedergabe von MP3 Dateien

Nach einer erfolgreichen Erstverbindung
von Lautsprecher und Endgerät erfolgt
die Verbindung automatisch. Sollte
sich die
Bluetooth
®
Verbindung nicht
automatisch wiederherstellen, prüfen Sie
die folgenden Punkte:
•Kontrollieren Sie in den
Bluetooth
®
Einstellungen des Endgerätes, ob
„Pocket Clock“ verbunden ist. Wenn
nicht, wiederholen Sie die unter
Bluetooth
®
Erstverbindung genannten
Schritte.
•Kontrollieren Sie, ob Endgerät und
Lautsprecher weniger als 10 Meter
voneinander entfernt sind. Wenn nicht,
reduzieren Sie den Abstand der Geräte.
•Kontrollieren Sie, ob Hindernisse die
Reichweite beinträchtigen. Wenn ja,
positionieren Sie die Geräte näher
zueinander.
4.7 Audiowiedergabe (via
Bluetooth
®
)
Starten und steuern Sie die Audiowiedergabe
entsprechend auf dem verbundenen
Endgerät. Alternativ lässt sich die
Audiowiedergabe auch vom Lautsprecher
aus steuern (sofern vom verbundenen Gerät
unterstützt).
•Drücken Sie die Funktionstaste (6),
um die Audio-Wiedergabe zu starten oder
anzuhalten.
•Drücken Sie kurz die Plus-Taste (5)
um den nächsten Titel abzuspielen.
Drücken Sie kurz die Minus-Taste (4),
um den vorherigen Titel abzuspielen.
•Halten Sie die Plus-Taste (5) gedrückt,
um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen.
•Halten Sie die Minus-Taste
(4) gedrückt, um die Lautstärke zu
reduzieren.

4.8 Audiowiedergabe (via MicroSD-
Karte)
Sie können die Audiowiedergabe alternativ
auch direkt von einer MicroSD-Karte starten.
•Stecken Sie hierzu eine MicroSD-Karte mit
entsprechenden Audio-Dateien in den
Steckplatz für die MicroSD-Karte (11).
•Falls das Gerät nicht automatisch im
MicroSD-Modus startet, drücken Sie
wiederholt die Funktionstaste (3),
bis ein akustisches Signal ertönt.
Die Steuerung der Titelauswahl und
Lautstärke funktioniert in diesem
Modus genauso wie in Punkt 4.7
Audiowiedergabe (via Bluetooth

)
beschrieben.
4.9 Audiowiedergabe (via USB-Gerät)
Sie können die Audiowiedergabe alternativ
auch direkt von einem USB-Datenträger (z.
B. USB-Stick) starten.
Stecken Sie hierzu einen USB-Datenträger
mit entsprechenden Audio-Dateien in den
Steckplatz für USB-Geräte (12)
•Falls das Gerät nicht automatisch im USB-
Modus startet, drücken Sie wiederholt
die Funktionstaste (3), bis ein
akustisches Signal ertönt.

Lautstärke funktioniert in diesem
Modus genauso wie in Punkt
4.7
Audiowiedergabe (via Bluetooth

beschrieben.
4.10 Audiowiedergabe (via FM-Radio)
•Verbinden Sie das 3,5mm-Antennenkabel
(Lieferumfang) mit dem AUX-Eingang
(9) des Lautsprechers, um den
Signalempfang zu verbessern.
•Schalten Sie den Lautsprecher -wie in
4.1
Ein-/ Ausschalten beschrieben –ein.
•Drücken Sie wiederholt die Funktionstaste
(3), bis FM auf dem Display angezeigt
wird.
•Starten und steuern Sie die
Audiowiedergabe entsprechend auf dem
angeschlossenen Endgerät.
•Drücken Sie die Funktionstaste (6),
um den automatischen Sendersuchlauf
zu starten.
•Das Gerät sucht und speichert nun
Radiosender im Empfangsbereich. Dieser
Vorgang kann einige Minuten dauern.
Sobald der Sendersuchlauf abgeschlossen
ist, können Sie einen Radiosender
wählen.
•Drücken Sie die Funktionstaste (6),
um den Sendersuchlauf bei Bedarf erneut
zu starten.

•Drücken Sie kurz die Plus-Taste
(5), um zum nächsten Radiosender zu
wechseln.
•Drücken Sie kurz die Minus-Taste
(4) um zum vorherigen Radiosender zu
wechseln.

5. Freisprechfunktion
Es besteht die Möglichkeit, den Lautsprecher
wie eine Freisprecheinrichtung für
Ihr Mobiltelefon zu verwenden. Das
Mobiltelefon muss für diese Funktion
über
Bluetooth
®
mit dem Lautsprecher
verbunden sein.
•Drücken Sie einmal die Funktionstaste
(2), um einen eingehenden Anruf
anzunehmen.
•Drücken Sie zweimal die Funktionstaste
(2), um den eingehenden Anruf
abzuweisen.
•Drücken Sie während eines
Telefongespräches einmal die
Funktionstaste (2), um das Telefonat
zu beenden.
Hinweis –Gesprächsqualität
•Achten Sie darauf,dass Sie sich mit
Ihrem Mobiltelefon während eines
Anrufs in der Nähe des Lautsprechers
benden, um die Gesprächsqualität
zu erhöhen.
6. Manuelle Einstellung Uhrzeit/Wecker
6.1 Manuelle Einstellung Uhrzeit
•Drücken Sie die Funktionstaste (1),
um die manuelle Einstellung der Uhrzeit
zu starten. Die Stundenanzeige beginnt
zu blinken.
•Stellen Sie die folgenden Informationen
nacheinander ein:
Stunde, Minute
•Drücken Sie zum Auswählen der
einzelnen Werte die Plus-Taste
(5) oder die Minus-Taste (4) und
bestätigen Sie die jeweilige Auswahl
durch Drücken der Funktionstaste
(6).
•Drücken Sie die Funktionstaste (1),
um die Einstellungen zu verlassen.
•Die Einstellungen werden automatisch
beendet, wenn länger als 30 Sekunden
keine Eingabe erfolgt.
