The manufacturer warrants this fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of
purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product
is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the
manufacture’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alteration,
neglect or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up, or used in any
way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of
an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, or faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship.
This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is consider normal wear
and tear.

cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have
occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the

Installation
1Preparation for mounting 2Preparation for mounting
□Tighten the support screws (B) full turns into the inside
mounting hole of mounting strip (A) (to be fully tightened
later), secure by G5/32” hex nut (F).
NOTE: The support screws (B) should extend
long enough to protrude through the canopy (H)
when it is mounted. (Adjust as needed)
□Fasten the mounting strip (A) onto outlet box using two
outlet box screws (D).
3Connect the wire 4Cover the wire with wire
connector
□Strip 3/4” of insulation from the wire ends. Twist the
stripped ends together with pliers. The black wire from the
xture to black wire from outlet box, white wire from the
xture to white wire from outlet box. The bare copper
grounding wire from the xture must loop one turn under
the head of green ground screw (C) on the mounting strip
(A) before it is connected to the grounding conductor of the
supply circuit.
□Cover the wire with wire connectors (G). Tape the wire
connector (G) and wire together. Carefully position all
wirings inside outlet box.

5Installing the canopy to outlet box 6Installing the threaded pipe
□Place the canopy assembly (H) over the outlet box, let the
heads of support screws (B) come through the holes of the
canopy assembly (H), then tighten the cap nuts (E) to the
protruding support screws (H) on mounting strip (A) until
the ure body is held rmly against the ceiling.
□Thread the threaded pipe (I) into the bushing near the
sockets located on the canopy assembly (H).
7Installing the light bulb 8Installing the glass plate on the
lamp
□Install the light bulbs (not included) into the socket. Use
two 60-watt medium base bulbs or less.
NOTE: You can also use two 13w maximum UL listed
CFL bulbs (sold separately). Do not exceed the
recommended wattage.
□Slide the glass plate (J), plastic washer (K), metal washer
(L) over the threaded pipe (I) and secure by G3/8”hex nut
(M) as show in diagram (Do not tighten excessively). Then
place the cap (N) over the threaded pipe (I) and secure by
the nial (O).

Care and Cleaning
□To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface
of the fixture.
□To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the
fuse box. Next, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
□Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.
Troubleshooting

autobalastrada en lugar de una lámpara incandescente.
Garantía
El fabricante garantiza que esta lámpara no presentará defectos materiales o de fabricación por un período de cinco (5) años a partir de la
fecha de compra. Esta garantía es válida sólo para el comprador original y sólo cubre productos en uso y funciones normales. Si se

PLANIFICAR UNA INSTALACIÓN EXITOSA
Lee todas las instrucciones antes de comenzar la instalación.
Para evitar dañar el producto, colócalo sobre una superficie
suave, no abrasiva, como por ejemplo una alfombra o cartón.
IMPORTANTE: Revisa que el aislamiento de los
cables no haya sufrido ningún corte, abrasión ni tenga
filamentos de cobre expuestos debidos al envío. Si hay
un defecto en el cable suspende el ensamblaje. Por

□Aprieta los tornillos de soporte (B) en el oricio lateral de
montaje del soporte de montaje (A) (para luego apretarlos
completamente), asegura con la tuerca hexagonal G5/32”
(F).
NOTA: Cuando se monten, los tornillos de
soporte (B) deberían extenderse lo suciente
para sobresalir a través de la cubierta (H).
(Ajusta según sea necesario)
□Ajusta el soporte de montaje (A) en la caja eléctrica
usando dos tornillos de la caja eléctrica (D).
3Cómo conectar el cable 4Cubre el cable con los conectores
de cable
□Quita 1,90 cm de aislamiento de los extremos de los
cables. Usando las pinzas, gira y une los extremos pelados.
El cable negro de la lámpara al cable negro de la caja
eléctrica, el cable blanco de la lámpara al cable blanco de
la caja eléctrica. El cable a tierra de cobre pelado de la
lámpara debe dar una vuelta por debajo de la cabeza del
tornillo verde a tierra (C) en el soporte de montaje (A) antes
de ser conectado al conductor a tierra del circuito de
suministro.
□Cubre el cable con los conectores de cable (G). Une con
cinta el cable con el conector de cable (G). Coloca con
cuidado todos los cables dentro de la caja eléctrica.

□Coloca el ensamblaje de la cubierta (H) sobre la caja
eléctrica, deja que las cabezas de los tornillos de soporte
(B) atraviesen los os del ensamblado de la cubierta
(H), después aprieta las tuercas de la cubierta (E) a los
tornillos de soporte que sobresalen (H) en el soporte de
montaje (A) hasta que el cuerpo de la lámpara se mantenga
rme contra el techo.
□Enrosca el tubo roscado (I) en el casquillo cerca de los
portabombillas que se encuentra en ensamblaje de la
cubierta (H).
7Instalar la bombilla 8Instalar la placa de vidrio en la
lámpara
□Instala las bombillas (no incluidas) en el portabombilla. Usa
dos bombillas de 60 vatios, de base media o menos.
NOTA:Puedes usar también dos bombillas CFL
equivalentes de 13 Watts máximo (vendidas por
separado). No excedas el vataje recomendado.
□Desliza la placa de vidrio (J), la arandela plástica (K), la
arandela de metal (L) sobre el tubo roscado (I) y asegura
con la tuerca hexagonal G3/8” (M) como se muestra en el
diagrama (no aprietes demasiado). Después coloca la tapa
(N) sobre el tubo roscado (I) y asegura por el remate (O).

Mantenimiento y Limpieza
□Para limpiar el exterior de la lámpara, usa un paño seco o ligeramente humedecido (usa agua limpia, nunca un solvente) para limpiar
la superficie de la lámpara.
□Para limpiar el interior de la lámpara, primero corta el suministro de electricidad, apagando el cortacircuitos o retirando el fusible
correspondiente en la caja de fusibles. Seguidamente, usa un paño limpio, seco o ligeramente húmedo (usa sólo agua limpia, nunca
un solvente) para limpiar el interior de la lámpara.
□No uses limpiadores con químicos, solventes ni productos abrasivos. Usa sólo un paño suave y seco para desempolvar o limpiar con
cuidado.
Solución de problemas

La electricidad está apagada. □Asegúrate de que el suministro de electricidad esté
encendido.
Interruptor defectuoso. □Prueba o reemplaza el interruptor.
La lámpara no enciende
Conexión defectuosa del cable. □Revisa el cableado.
El fusible se funde o el cortacircuitos
se activa cuando se enciende la luz.
Los cables están cruzados o el cable
de alimentación está haciendo tierra.
□Deja de usar la lámpara.
□Revisa las conexiones de cable.
□Contacta a un electricista calificado o llama al equipo
de Servicio al Cliente al 1-877-527-0313.
