The full-featured, rack-mountable Switches from Hawking
are the ideal Switch solution for the Workgroup and
Enterprise user who needs high performance and
migration between 10Base-T and 100Base-TX speeds.
The PN1616ES, which provides 16 auto-sensing RJ-45
10Base-T/100Base-TX ports, allows for easy migration
from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps. The PN1616ES has many
advanced features that differentiate itself from other
Switches. For one, it supports port-based VLAN which will
give network administrators a powerful and easy-to use
tool to reduce unnecessary broadcast traffic, flexibly
segment the network and enhance network security.
The PN1616ES rack-mountable Switch will increase the
performance of your network by bringing full Ethernet
bandwidth to individual workgroups or straight to your
desktop, which will eliminate the need to share the
bandwidth of a single network. It is also capable of
connecting 10M, 100Mbps, half and full duplex
simultaneously. This Switch provides a full wire-rate
10/100Mbps Switch port for greater network performance.
In addition, an "Uplink" port is provided for easy
connection to other Switches or Hubs for network
expansion. Furthermore, the PN1616ES’s performance
and hardware is guaranteed to be compatible with other
Switches, Hubs and Adapters.
