Do not use the air purifier in wet or damp locations
Do not use outdoors
Do not use at ambient temperature of above 95°F/35°C
Do not use fabrics or other material to cover the inlet and outlet of the unit
Do not allow children to operate or play with the unit
For safety reasons and to prevent electric shock, unplug the power cord from the
electric outlet socket under the following conditions:
When not in use for a long period of time
When cleaning, servicing the machine or during replacement of filters
When moving the air purifier
To prevent electric shock, do not dismantle, repair or modify this product.
Maintenance and cleaning instructions should be followed exactly as directed in
this manual. In case of malfunction, please contact an authorized distributor or
Healthy Air Inc. for service instructions.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, the equipment has a grounding type plug that
has a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding type power
outlet. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, contact qualified personnel to install
the proper outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way.

V. Assembly Instructions
5.1 Install Caster Wheels
The following procedure is for Standard Application of the unit, whereby purified
air is vented through the Base Plate and recirculated within the facility.
For Outside Vent Applications, in which filtered air is vented out of the facility,
skip Section 5.1 and refer to the wheel installation instructions in Section 5.4.
5.1.1 Place the unit on its side on a flat surface, as shown in Fig. 1.
5.1.2 Locate the four (4) Caster Wheels and the Screwdriver that are provided
in Carton 1.
5.1.3 Unscrew and remove the screws that are pre-mounted onto the Base
Plate, on the bottom of the unit. There are four (4) screws per wheel, for a
total of sixteen (16) screws.
5.1.4 Align the holes of the Caster Wheel Mount with the holes on the Base
Plate, and use four (4) screws to securely mount each Caster Wheel to
the Base Plate one by one.

5.3 Install Extraction Hose
The Extraction Hose is constructed of interlocking bands that enable its length
and shape to be adjusted. Note that, the Extraction Hose will unravel if it is
lengthened or bent past its tolerance point. The diameter of the Extraction Hose
can be also adjusted by 10% by rotating sections of the hose counterclockwise.
5.3.1 Install the Extraction Hose on the unit by sliding the end of the
Extraction Hose over the Inlet Port, as shown in Fig. 3.
If the diameter of the Extraction Hose needs to be increased, rotate the
end of the hose counterclockwise.
5.3.2 Hold the end of the Extraction Hose and rotate it clockwise, to reduce
its diameter, to fit it to the diameter of the Inlet Port.
5.3.3 Position the Hose Clamp at the base of the Extraction Hose and screw
the hex nut to tighten the Hose Clamp and secure the Extraction Hose
on the Inlet Port. Ensure that the connection is tight to optimize
performance.

V. Assembly Instructions
5.4 Install Pop-Up Source Capture Vent (Optional)
Visit www.HealthyAir.com to download the manual with complete installation
instructions for the HealthyAir® Source Capture®“Pop-Up” Vent.
The HealthyAir®Source Capture® “Pop-Up” Vent provides an alternative to the
use of extraction arms for source capture at the point of chemical application.
The Single-Inlet provides source capture for a single station, and the Dual Inlet
Pop-Up Vent serves two stations that are adjacent to one another.
The Pop-Up unit is designed to be installed in a table or work surface and
integrated with the HealthyAir®Source Capture Fan-Filter Exhauster System,
as shown in Fig. 4.
The innovative design of this patented product enables the 8"x6" inlet vent to
"Pop-up" when the system is in use. When inactive, the vent may be
"Pushed-down" to hide it from view. The result is a system that offers
increased collection efficiency, optimized airflow, aesthetically appealing
design and simplicity of use.
Note that, the HealthyAir®Source Capture Fan-Filter Exhauster System can
either be set to exhaust in the room, as a Recirculating Ventilation system, or
exhaust to outside, as an Outside Ventilation system, and unit can either be
located near the table or positioned in a remote location.
5.4.1 Install the Source Capture®Vent in the table or work surface in
accordance with the complete instructions provided in the HealthyAir®
Source Capture®“Pop-Up” Vent (download from
www.HealthyAir.com)
5.4.2 Duct the outlet of the Source Capture®Vent to the inlet of the
HealthyAir®Source Capture Fan-Filter Exhauster. Refer to Fig. 4 for
an example of the setup for Recirculating Ventilation and Refer to Fig.
5 for an example of the setup for Outside Ventilation.

5.5 Install Outside Vent Adapter Kit (Optional)
Note that, the Outside Vent Adapter Kit is an optional feature that enables a
Recirculating Ventilation unit to be converted to an Outside Ventilation unit,
which is capable of exhausting filtered air out of the facility with connection to
exhaust ducting.
To add this feature, visit www.HealthyAir.com and select Outside Vent Adapters
from the Accessories tab in the Products dropdown menu.
The Outside Vent Adapter kit comes with one (1) Outlet Flange and one (1)
Base Blank-Off Plate, as shown in Fig. 6.

5.5.1 If the Caster Wheels were initially installed on the unit for Recirculating
Ventilation (as described in Section 6.1), remove each Caster Wheel
from the Base Plate, and set aside the wheels and the mounting
screws.
5.5.2 Turn the unit upside down and position the Base Blank-Off Plate over
the Base Plate.
5.5.3 Position the Base Blank-Off Plate such that the bolt pattern for the
Caster Wheels on the Base Blank-Off Plate aligns with the bolt pattern
on the Base Plate.
