GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Wiring the EGT probe to the meter
(aka: Why is the temperature reading going down?)
EGT probe Yellow wire = ( + ) Positive
EGT probe Red wire = ( - ) Negative
Putting the meter into Peak mode
1. Press SEL key once (the MAX LEDs will turn on)
Resetting the Peak value
1. Press RST key for 3 seconds
Returning the meter to Real-Time mode
1. Press SEL key once (the MAX LEDs will turn off)
Setting the alarm parameter (only if alarm option is installed)
1. Hold SEL key down for 3 seconds until display window flashes “SPt-1”
2. Press RST key once (x1) display window will show the current high alarm setpoint
3. Press SEL key to advance to the next digit
4. Press RST key to increment the digit by one
5. Enter the numerical temperature value that you want the alarm to turn ON at
6. Hold SEL key down for 3 seconds until display window flashes “CodE” and “000”
7. Press SEL key once (x1) to exit

ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
You need to enter security code “099” to access advanced functions
To access Advanced Functions
1. Hold SEL key down for 3 seconds until display window flashes “SPt-1”
2. Press SEL key once (x1) to skip over alarm programming, display window will flash “CodE” and “000”
3. Press RST key once (x1) to enter the programming code
4. Press SEL key to advance to the next digit
4. Press RST key to increment the digit by one
5. Enter the following programming security code: “099”
6. Hold SEL key down for 3 seconds until display window flashes “Pro” and “NO”
……….You are now in Programming Mode……....
Setting display to read in either °F or °C
1. Display window flashes “Pro” and “NO”
2. Press RST key once (x1) display window will show “1-INP”
3. Press SEL key three times (x3) display window will show “SCALE”
4. Press RST key to choose either “°F” or “°C”
5. Press SEL key seven times (x7) to exit
Adjusting the display Brightness
1. Display window flashes “Pro” and “NO”
2. Press RST key three times (x3) display window will show “3-dSP”
3. Press SEL key six times (x6) display window will show “d-LEV”
4. Press RST key to choose level “1”, “2”, “3”, or “5”
5. Press SEL key six times (x3) to exit
Changing the display Color
1. Display window flashes “Pro” and “NO”
2. Press RST key three times (x3) display window will show “3-dSP”
3. Press SEL key five times (x5) display window will show “COLOr”
4. Press RST key to choose color “rEd” or “Grn”
5. Press SEL key four times (x4) to exit
