1.Anchor the product to a rm structure using a telescopic pole or directly to
a standard anchor point. Use a carabiner to connect the “head” of the Bella to

2. When using a pole – lift the pole up to the anchoring point, while the throw
bag and rope adapter stays on the ground. Make sure the hook which the
head is connected to is rmly attached to a part of the structure. (beam or
rail). When using other methods of anchoring ( for example using a webbing
or sling wrapped around a structural element (beam or rail)) after anchoring
and connecting the head, throw the bag so the tag line will reach the ground.
Lower the rope adapter to the ground.
3. Connect a rope/ladder/rescue kit to be lifted to the anchoring
point using a carabiner to the pin.
4.Pull the tagline until the rope adapter and the rope connected to it will reach
the head. Make sure the rope adapter got its place inside the head and created
an anchor. Always check by pulling the rope or ladder before use.

Limitations On Use:
It is impossible to imagine all the ways this equipment can be
misused. It must be used only for the specic purpose it was
designed for; it must not be used for any other. Only the loading
in the“OK”box is allowed. Each user is responsible for making
a risk assessment prior to using this product.
Lifetime:
Unlimited for metal products, but will often be much less de-
pending on conditions and frequency of use; it could even be a
single use in some cases.
Environmental Factors:
Moisture, ice, salt, sand, snow, chemicals and other factors can
prevent proper operation or can greatly accelerate wear.
Medical:
It is intended for use by medically t, specically trained and
experienced users.
Compatibility:
The product is intended to be used as a personal fall protec-
tion equipment and not as a lifting equipment, when used as
anchor device.
Any equipment used with the BELLA must be certied for
use as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). An incompatible
connection can cause accidental disconnection, breakage, or
aect the safety function of another piece of equipment. You
must verify the suitability of this equipment for use in your
application with regard to applicable governmental regula-
tions and other standards on occupational safety.
Inspection Before & After Each Use:
In addition to the detailed periodic inspection, the BELLA
must be inspected before and after each use. Check all parts
for cracks, deformation, corrosion, wear, etc. that the pins and
springs all move freely and function properly in every respect.
The function of these parts must not be impaired by foreign
matter such as dirt, ice, corrosion, etc.
If any signs of signicant wear appear on the rubber foot pads,
replace it before using the anchor again. A replacement kit is
available from an authorized distributor.
Inspection During Use:
Regularly inspect and monitor your system, conrming the
correct positioning of the BELLA and tension against the sup-
porting anchor.
Prevent any contact between the BELLA anchor and any
other objects that can interfere with the ability to arrest a fall,
or move it from its original placement.
Detailed Inspection:
In addition to inspection before, during and after each use, a
detailed inspection by a competent inspector must be done at
leastevery12monthsormorefrequentlydependingonamount
and type of use, government regulations, and environmental
conditions.
Makea copyofthese instructions anduseone as thepermanent
inspection record and keep the other with the equipment. It is
recommended that a similar record is kept for all components
used in a system.
It is best to issue new gear to each user so they know its entire
history. Periodic detailed inspection shall use the same criteria
as inspection before and after each use. Additionally, perio-
dic inspection will verify legibility of product markings. User
safety depends upon the durability and correct function of the
equipment.
Maintenance & Storage:
Clean if necessary with fresh water, then allow to dry naturally
completelybeforestoring. If thereisstill dirtinthe moving parts
use air pressure to remove it. Light surface corrosion may be
removed with a wire brush (no power tools). Retire if corrosion
is heavy. Store or transport in a dry place away from extremes of
heat and cold and avoid exposure to chemicals.
Repairs or modications to equipment are only allowed by
the manufacturer or those authorized in writing by the ma-
nufacturer.
Retire from service immediately if the BELLA:
1. Arrests a fall or is signicantly loaded.
2.Does notpass inspection orthereisanydoubt aboutitssafety.
3. Is misused, altered, damaged, exposed to harmful chemicals,
etc.
Do not return the BELLA to service unless it is inspected and
authorized by a person competent to do so. Consult the ma-
nufacturer if you have any doubts or concerns.
Anchorage Requirements:
Use and install the device only in the ways explained in this
manual; when using this product, be sure that it’s installed on
suitable structures with a minimum breaking strength of 12
kN: install the product on a unsuitable structure can lead to
injuries or death for the user.
When the product is fully assembled (head, pin and connector
form the fully product), use the connector to anchor directly
to existing circular or tubular structures with a maximum di-
ameter of 20-22 mm.
For the connection with your BELLA anchor device use only
Personal Protection Equipment CE certied (such as harnesses,
energy absorbers, ropes, connectors, etc…). When use your
equipment, be careful to use always combinations of items in
which the safe function of any one item will not aect and will
not interfere with the safe function of another.
When using this product, use always a means of limiting the
maximum dynamic forces exerted during the arrest of a fall to
a maximum of 6 kN (e.g. an energy absorber)
These activities are inherently dangerous and carry a sig-
nicant risk of injury or death that cannot be eliminated.
These instructions DO NOT tell you everything you need to
know.
Do not use unless you can and will understand and assu-
meallrisks and responsibilitiesforalldamage/injury/death
that may result from use of this equipment or the activities
undertaken with it.
Everyone using this equipment must be given and tho-

You must always have a backup-never trust a life to a single
tool.
You must have a rescue plan and the means to implement
it. Inert suspension in a harness can quickly result in death!

When using this product a rescue plan should be in place to
deal with any emergencies that could arise during the work.
Be sure that the work is always performed in the way to reduce
the potential of a fall and the potential fall distance, installing
your product properly. Verify the free space required beneath
the user at the workplace before each use so that in the case of
a fall, there will be no collision with ground or other obstacle
in the fall path. Take into account also the pendulum eect.
During usage, protect the product from sharp edges, oils, fu-
els, volatile substances, corrosion materials, acids, bases, heat
temperatures.
The anchor should normally be above the user’s position and
conform to the applicable standard. The placement should
take into consideration the possibility of falling down and
should minimize the potential fall distance or hitting an obs-
tacle. You are responsible to verify the suitability of this equip-
ment and your anchor and other gear with regard to govern-
ment and all other other applicable standards. The clearance
under the user must be sucient to prevent him from striking
an obstacle in case of a fall (the length of the connector can
inuence the height of a fall).
Re-Sale:
If re-sold outside the original country of destination, CE
guidelines require the re-seller of the BELLA to provide inst-
ructions for use, maintenance, periodic examination and for
repair in the language of the country in which this product is
to be used.
When the BELLA is used in accordance with EN 795 as a per-
sonal fall protection anchor, the BELLA shall not be used for
lifting equipment.
It is recommended that the user marks the device with the
date of the last and next inspection.
Warranty
The product comes with a 1 year warranty for any defect in
materials or manufacturing. The warranty does not cover any
defect resulting of reasonable wear and tear of the product
usage. The warranty also does not cover damage due to acci-
dent and / or neglecting and / or usage for other purposes that
the product was designed for.

Compatibilité:
Le produit est destiné à être utilisé comme équipement de
protection individuelle contre les chutes et non comme un

Inspection avant et après chaque utilisation:
En plus de l’inspection périodique détaillée, le BELLA doit être
inspecté avant et après chaque utilisation. Vériez que toutes

Bella parts –
BELLA is composed by three basic parts: the head (1), the pin (3)
and the connecting carabiner (8)
e Head (1) – connects to the structural anchor by the supplied
connecting carabineer.
e carabiner should be connected only to the hole on the upper
part of the head (2)
e pin (3) – connects the rope or ladder to the anchor, by
connecting into the head.

The rope (or tag line) (4) –used to connect the head and the pin.
The rope should be inserted from the outer
side of the head through the small hole on the head (5),
down trough the head to the hole at the top of the pin (6).
Tie the end so it can not be pulled out.
When installed correctly, pulling the rope should make the pin go up toward
the head and slide into the hole at the bottom of the head
until the two safety pins (7) are in place.
Checking the connection after the installation:
Make sure both pins are locked in place inside the head. (8)
Pull firmly the rope or ladder attached to the pin to make
sure the pin is locked inside the head.
Disassembly of the anchor
1. Make sure that no one is attached to the anchor.
2. Press the two pins (7) simultaneously to release the pin from the head.
3. Hold the rope and let the pin descent slowly to the ground.
4. Release the head from the anchor point.

3. After connectin the head and the pin and after checking that the BELLA is
safe to use, place the cover over the head to protect it and to prevent
unintentional openning.

Maintenance et stockage:
Nettoyez si nécessaire avec de l’eau fraîche, puis laissez sécher
complètement avant de le ranger. S’il reste de la saleté dans
les pièces mobiles, utilisez de l’air comprimé pour l’enlever. La
corrosion légère de surface peut être enlevée avec une brosse
métallique (aucun outil électrique). Se retirer si la corrosion
est forte. Stockez ou transportez dans un endroit sec, à l’abri
des températures extrêmes et évitez l’exposition aux produits
chimiques.
Les réparations ou modications apportées à l’équipement ne
sont autorisées que par le fabricant ou celles autorisées par
écrit par le fabricant.
Se retirer immédiatement du service si le BELLA:
1. Arrête une chute ou est lourdement chargé.
2. Ne passe pas l’inspection ou il n’y a aucun doute sur sa
sécurité.
3. Est mal utilisé, modié, endommagé, exposé à des produits
chimiques nocifs, etc.
Ne remettez pas le BELLA en service à moins d’avoir été ins-
pecté et autorisé par une personne compétente pour le faire.
Consultez le fabricant si vous avez des doutes ou des préoc-
cupations.
Exigences d’ancrage:
Utilisez et installez le périphérique uniquement de la manière
décrite dans ce manuel. Lors de l’utilisation de ce produit, as-
surez-vous qu’il est installé sur des structures appropriées avec
une résistance à la rupture minimale de 12 kN: l’installation du
produit sur une structure inadéquate peut entraîner des bles-
sures, voire la mort de l’utilisateur.
Lorsque le produit est complètement assemblé (la tête, la
broche et le connecteur forment le produit complet), utilisez
le connecteur pour s’ancrer directement aux structures cir-
culaires ou tubulaires existantes d’un diamètre maximal de
20 à 22 mm.

et minimiser la distance de chute potentielle ou le risque
de heurter un obstacle. Vous êtes responsable de vérier
l’adéquation de cet équipement, de votre ancre et de tout
autre équipement par rapport aux lois du gouvernement et

Re-vente:
En cas de revente en dehors du pays de destination d’origine,
les directives CE exigent que le revendeur de BELLA fournisse
des instructions pour l’utilisation, la maintenance, des exa-
mens périodiques et des réparations dans la langue du pays
dans lequel ce produit doit être utilisé.
Lorsque la BELLA est utilisée conformément à la norme EN 795
comme ancre de protection individuelle contre les chutes, la
BELLA ne doit pas être utilisée pour des appareils de levage.
Il est recommandé à l’utilisateur de marquer l’appareil avec la

Kompatibilität:
Das Produkt ist als persönliche Absturzsicherung zur Verwen-
dung und nicht als Hebeeinrichtung bestimmt, wenn es als
Verankerungsvorrichtung verwendet wird. Alle Geräte, die
mit BELLA verwendet werden, müssen für die Verwendung
als persönliche Schutzausrüstung (PSA) zertiziert sein. Ein
inkompatibler Anschluss kann zu einem versehentlichen Lö-
sen, Bruch oder Beeinträchtigen der Sicherheitsfunktion eines
anderen Geräts führen. Sie müssen die Eignung dieses Geräts

Inspektion vor und nach jedem Gebrauch:

gelmäßige Inspektion die Lesbarkeit von Produktkennzeich-
nungen überprüft. Die Sicherheit des Benutzers hängt von der
Haltbarkeit und der korrekten Funktion des Geräts ab.
Wartung & Lagerung:
Bei Bedarf mit frischem Wasser reinigen und vor dem Einlagern
trocknen lassen. Wenn sich noch Schmutz in den beweglichen
Teilen bendet, entfernen Sie ihn mit Luftdruck. Leichte
Oberächenkorrosion kann mit einer Drahtbürste entfernt
werden (keine Elektrowerkzeuge).
Bei starker Korrosion aufhören. Lagern oder transportieren Sie
das Gerät an einen trockenen Ort, wo es keine Hitze und Kälte
gibt, und vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Chemikalien.
Reparaturen oder Modikationen an Geräten sind nur vom
Hersteller oder vom Hersteller schriftlich autorisierten Perso-
nen gestattet.
Sofort außer Dienst stellen wenn die BELLA:
1. Arretierung fällt oder wird erheblich belastet.
2. Besteht die Prüfung nicht oder es bestehen Zweifel an der

Ankerungs-Anforderungen:
Verwenden und installieren Sie das Gerät nur auf die in diesem
Handbuch beschriebene Weise. Wenn Sie dieses Produkt ver-
wenden, stellen Sie sicher, dass es an geeigneten Konstruktio-
nen mit einer Mindestbruchfestigkeit von 12 kN installiert ist.
Wenn Sie das Produkt an einer ungeeigneten Struktur installi-
eren, kann dies zu Verletzungen oder zum Tod des Benutzers
führen. Wenn das Produkt vollständig zusammengebaut ist
(Kopf, Stift und Verbinder bilden das vollständige Produkt),
verwenden Sie den Verbinder, um es direkt an vorhandenen
kreisförmigen oder röhrenförmigen Strukturen mit einem ma-
ximalen Durchmesser von 20-22 mm zu verankern.
Verwenden Sie für den Anschluss Ihres BELLA-Ankers nur
CE-zertizierte persönliche Schutzausrüstung (z. B. Kabelbäu-
me, Energieabsorber, Seile, Verbinder usw.). Achten Sie bei der
Verwendung Ihrer Ausrüstung darauf, immer Kombinationen
von Gegenständen zu verwenden, bei denen die sichere Funk-
tion eines Elements die Sicherheitsfunktion eines anderen
nicht beeinträchtigt und nicht beeinträchtigt. Verwenden Sie
bei Verwendung dieses Produkts immer ein Mittel, um die ma-
ximalen dynamischen Kräfte, die während des Stillstands eines
Absturzes ausgeübt werden, auf maximal 6 kN zu begrenzen

nungsgemäß installieren. Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung
den freien Platz unter dem Benutzer am Arbeitsplatz, damit im
Fall eines Sturzes keine Kollision mit dem Boden oder einem
anderen Hindernis im Fallpfad auftritt. Berücksichtigen Sie
auch den Pendeleekt. Schützen Sie das Produkt während des
Gebrauchs vor scharfen Kanten, Ölen, Kraftstoen, üchtigen
Substanzen, Korrosionsstoen, Säuren, Basen und Hitze.
Der Anker sollte sich normalerweise über der Position des
Benutzers benden und der geltenden Norm entsprechen.
Die Platzierung sollte die Möglichkeit des Herunterfallens be-
rücksichtigen und die mögliche Fallstrecke oder das Auahren
auf ein Hindernis minimieren. Sie sind dafür verantwortlich,
die Eignung dieser Ausrüstung und Ihrer Anker- und sonsti-

gen Ausrüstung in Bezug auf staatliche Vorschriften und alle
anderen anwendbaren Normen zu überprüfen. Der Freiraum
unter dem Benutzer muss ausreichend sein, um zu verhindern,
dass er bei einem Sturz auf ein Hindernis stößt (die Länge des
Steckverbinders kann die Höhe eines Sturzes beeinussen).
Wiederverkauf:
Bei Weiterverkauf außerhalb des ursprünglichen Bestimmung-
slandes verlangen die CE-Richtlinien, dass der Weiterverkäufer
der BELLA Anweisungen zur Verwendung, Wartung, regel-
mäßigen Überprüfung und zur Reparatur in der Sprache des
Landes vorlegt, in dem dieses Produkt verwendet werden soll.
Wenn der BELLA gemäß EN 795 als persönlicher Absturzsicher-
ungsanker verwendet wird, darf der BELLA nicht für Hebezeu-
ge verwendet werden.
Es wird empfohlen, dass der Benutzer das Gerät mit dem Da-
tum der letzten und der nächsten Inspektion markiert
Garantie
Das Produkt hat eine Garantie von 1 Jahr für Material- oder
Herstellungsfehler. Die Garantie deckt keine Mängel ab, die
auf einen angemessenen Verschleiß der Produktnutzung
zurückzuführen sind. Die Garantie deckt auch keine Schäden
ab, die durch Unfälle und / oder Vernachlässigung und / oder
Verwendung für andere Zwecke entstanden sind, für die das
Produkt entwickelt wurde.
Der Hersteller, der Vertreter des Herstellers oder eine Person in
seinem Namen haftet nicht für Verlust oder direkte oder indi-
rekte Schäden, die durch die Verwendung des Produkts verur-
sacht wurden und / oder verursacht werden können.
