Safety Instrucon
Laws and Regulaons
Use of the product must be in strict compliance with the local laws and regulaons. Please shut
down the device in prohibited area.
Power Supply
• Use of the product must be in strict compliance with the local electrical safety regulaons.
• Use the power adapter provided by qualied manufacturer. Refer to the product specicaon for
detailed power requirements.
• It is recommended to provide independent power adapter for each device as adapter overload
may cause over-heang or a re hazard.
• Make sure that the power has been disconnected before you wire, install, or disassemble the
device.
• DO NOT directly touch exposed contacts and components once the device is powered up to
avoid electric shock.
• DO NOT use damaged power supply devices (e.g., cable, power adapter, etc.) to avoid electric
shock, re hazard, and explosion.
• DO NOT directly cut the power supply to shut down the device. Please shut down the device
normally and then unplug the power cord to avoid data loss.
• DO NOT block the power supply equipment to plug and unplug conveniently.
• Make sure the power supply has been disconnected if the power adapter is idle.
• Make sure the device is connected to the ground rmly.
Transportaon, Use, and Storage
• To avoid heat accumulaon, good venlaon is required for a proper operang environment.
• Store the device in dry, well-venlated, corrosive-gas-free, no direct sunlight, and no heang
source environment.
• Avoid re, water, and explosive environment when using the device.
• Avoid lightning strike for device installaon. Install a lightning arrester if necessary.
• Keep the device away from magnec interference.
• Avoid device installaon on vibratory surface or places, and avoid equipment installaon on
vibratory surface or places subject to shock (ignorance may cause device damage).
• DO NOT touch the heat dissipaon component to avoid burns.
• DO NOT expose the device to extremely hot, cold, or humidity environments. For temperature
and humidity requirements, see device specicaon.
• The device can only be safely used in the region below 2000 meters above the sea level.

Maintenance
• If smoke, odor, or noise arises from the device, immediately turn o the power, unplug the
power cable, and contact the service center.
• If the device is abnormal, contact the store you purchased it or the nearest service center. DO
NOT disassemble or modify the device in any way (For the problems caused by unauthorized
modicaon or maintenance, the company shall not take any responsibility).
• Keep all wrappers aer unpacking them for future use. In case of any failure occurred, you need
to return the device to the factory with the original wrapper. Transportaon without the original
wrapper may result in damage to the device and the company shall not take any responsibility.
Network
• Please enforce the protecon for the personal informaon and the data security as the device
may be confronted with the network security problems when it is connected to the Internet.
Please contact us when the device might exist network security risks.
• Please understand that you have the responsibility to congure all the passwords and other
security sengs about the device, and keep your user name and password.
Lens
• DO NOT touch the lens with ngers directly in case the acidic sweat of the ngers erodes the
surface coang of the lens.
• DO NOT aim the lens at the strong light such as sun or incandescent lamp. The strong light can
cause fatal damage to the device.
Screen
Clean the screen with so and dry cloth or other substutes to wipe the interior and exterior
surface. DO NOT use alkaline detergents. Protect the screen from scratches.
Baery
• DO NOT charge the baery connuously more than one week. Overcharging may shorten the
baery life.
•Baery will discharge gradually if it is not used for a long me. It must be recharged before
using.
• If the device contains dismountable baery, store the device and baery separately if it is not
used.
• The baery must be charged and discharged every three months if it is not used, and recharged
to 60% to 70% power percentage to store.
• The scrapped baery should be discarded in compliance with the local laws and regulaons. If
there are no corresponding laws or regulaons, throw it in a hazardous trash can.
• DO NOT pierce the baery or shorten the electrodes, or it may cause explosion or re hazard.
• DO NOT throw the baery in re or water, or it may cause explosion.
• Please use the specic baery supported by the device, or it may cause explosion. If the baery
is damaged and needs to be changed, contact the device manufacturer or local distributor.

• If the device contains buon baery, keep it far away from children.

Chapter 1 Product Introducon
1.1 Introducon
Body camera (hereinaer referred to as device) highly integrates with record, taping, capture,
posioning, etc. It is embedded with posioning module with high sensivity to locate the
occurring posion of events accurately. It can record the process and condion of events
completely via record, taping, and capture. You can also tag the important data for future search.
It is small and light, convenient to carry, and can be worn on the shoulder, sasfying the
requirement of mobile duty and evidence record for single person. It is widely applicable to public
security protecon, city management, industry and commerce, etc.
1.2 Key Feature
• H.264/H.265 encoding technology.
• Built-in 4G and Wi-Fi modules to transmit video and audio in mobile environment stably.
• Built-in posioning module with high sensivity to locate the occurring posion of events
accurately.
• Supports record, taping, capture, etc. Capture is available during recording.

Chapter 2 Startup and Main Menu
2.1 Start up
When the device is shut down, hold On/O buon on the device side to start it up.
2.2 Main Menu
Aer the device starts up, it will enter Camera page automacally. Tap to enter the main
menu. The descripon of the icons on the main menu is shown as the table below.

Icon Descripon
Tap it to enter Camera page. You can capture or record.
Tap it to enter Recorder page. Press Taping buon on the device
side to start taping.
Tap it to enter File MGT page. You can view the video, audio,
and picture saved in the device.
Tap it to enter Sengs page. You can set Network, Media,
System, and Device.
Note
You need to enter the device password when you enter File MGT page and other sengs page.
Enter the password according to the page prompt. Hereinaer the operaon of entering password
will not be illustrated any more.
2.3 Zoom
When the current live view image is too small or too large, you can zoom in or out to adjust the
best live view eect.
On Camera page, tap . With the mulple increases, the lens zooms in and the object becomes
larger. With the mulple decreases, the lens zooms out and the object becomes smaller.

Chapter 3 Storage, Playback, and Backup
3.1 Storage
The recorded video, taped audio, and captured picture will be stored in the device.
3.1.1 Format Storage Media
If the storage media is full, format it to clear the data via Body Camera Assistant. Refer to "Format
Storage Media" in "Operaon via Body Camera Assistant" for details.
3.1.2 Record
You can record video via the device.
Steps
1. Press (recording buon).
appears on the status bar, indicang the device is recording.
2. Press the recording buon again and the icon disappears, indicang the recording stopped.
3. Oponal: Tap File MGT on the main menu to view the recorded video.
Note
• If you want to record a period of me before recording starts, tap Sengs → System → Pre-
record to set pre-record.
• If you want to record a period of me aer recording ends, tap Sengs → System → Post-
record to set post-record.
3.1.3 Start Recording Once Powered up
If you want the device to start recording once it is powered up, you can enable the funcon.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → System → Record once Powered up 。
2. Tap Enable.
3.1.4 Tape
You can tape audio via the device.

Steps
1. Press (taping buon).
appears on the status bar, indicang the device is taping.
2. Press the taping buon again to stop taping.
3. Oponal: Tap File MGT on the main menu to view the taped audio.
3.1.5 Capture
You can capture picture via the device.
Steps
1. Press (capture buon).
The device captures a picture.
2. Oponal: Tap File MGT on the main menu to view the captured pictures.
3.2 Playback
You can play back video, audio, and picture via the device.
Steps
1. Tap File MGT.
2. Tap Video, Audio, or Picture.
3. Select the le to play or view from the le list.
3.3 Backup
You can back up the les stored in the device.
3.3.1 Back up via USB Mode
You can switch the device as a USB ash disk and export les to your computer.
Before You Start
• Connect the device to the computer via data cable.
• Disable read-only mode of the device. Refer to "Set USB Read-Only Mode" for details.
Steps
1. Switch the device to USB mode. Refer to "Switch USB Mode" for details.
2. Copy the data of the device to the computer.

3.3.2 Play Backup File
You can only play the backed up video or audio les via Hikvision player or other players with
Hikvision play plugin.
• Hikvision Player: If you select Hikvision player to play the les, visit Hikvision ocial website to
download VSPlayer and install it.
• Hikvision Play Plugin: If you select other players to play the les, visit Hikvision ocial website to
download MFPlugins and install it.
3.4 Set Tag
3.4.1 Set Tag During Recording or Taping
During recording or taping, hold taping buon for three seconds or above to set tag. Hold it again
to cancel the tag.
Note
The tag is only available to the current video or audio. Aer the video or audio ends, tag also ends.
3.4.2 Set Tag Aer Recording or Taping
Aer recording or taping, you can set tag for the important video or audio for convenient search.
Steps
1. Tap File MGT.
2. Select the video or audio le to set tag.
3. Open the le, and tap to set the tag.
Result
The tagged video or audio les will be marked with in the le list.

Chapter 4 Network Sengs
Dialing, Wi-Fi connecon, and plaorm connecon are introduced in this secon.
4.1 Dial (Normal Network)
You can connect to Internet via 3G/4G SIM card dialing.
Before You Start
Install 3G/4G SIM card.
Steps
1. Swipe the screen down to open the nocaon center.
2. Tap to enable dialing.
4.2 Dial (Private Network)
You can connect to the private network via 3G/4G SIM card dialing.
Before You Start
Install 3G/4G SIM card.
Steps
1. Swipe the screen down to open the nocaon center.
2. Tap to enable dialing.
3. Tap Sengs → Network → Network and Internet → Mobile Network .
4. Select the dialing card, and tap Advanced.
5. Tap Access Point Names.
6. Contact the service supplier to get the VPN.
-Select APN from the list.
-Tap → New APN to set corresponding parameters. Tap → Save .
4.3 Connect to Wi-Fi
You can access Internet by connecng to a Wi-Fi.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → Network → WLAN .
2. Tap to enable Wi-Fi.
3. Select the Wi-Fi to connect, enter the password, and tap CONNECT.

Result
If connecng succeeded, will appear on the status bar. Aer the rst-me successful
connecon, you can tap to disable Wi-Fi, or tap to enable Wi-Fi.
4.4 Connect to EHome Plaorm
EHome is the plaorm access protocol. You can log in to the device via plaorm to realize live view,
data management, and so on.
Before You Start
• Set the connected plaorm. Refer to the plaorm user manual for details. Ensure the device can
communicate with the plaorm normally.
• Select Video Plaorm Type as EHome or ISUP5. Refer to "Select Video Plaorm" for details.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → Network → Plaorm .
2. Tap Registraon to enable the plaorm connecon.
3. Enter Plaorm IP Address, Plaorm Port, Device ID, and Key.
Note
• The device ID should be consistent with that reserved when adding device via the plaorm.
•Aer the device is connected to the plaorm, pictures can be uploaded manually or
automacally.
4. Oponal: Tap Sengs → System → Force Sub-Stream , and tap Enable to let the EHome
plaorm to transmit via sub-stream forcedly.
Result
appears on the status bar, indicang the device has been connected to the plaorm.
4.5 Set Tethering
You can set the device as a hotspot to share network to other terminals.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → Network → Network and Internet → Hotspot and Tethering .
2. Select the tethering mode.
-If you want to share network via Wi-Fi hotspot, tap Wi-Fi hotspot to enable the funcon and
set hotspot parameters.
-If you want to share network via USB data cable, tap to enable USB tethering.
-If you want to share network via bluetooth, tap to enable Bluetooth tethering.

4.6 Select Video Plaorm
You can select the video plaorm to connect to the device.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → Network → Video Plaorm Management .
2. Select Video Plaorm Type.
What to do next
Reboot the device to take the sengs into eect.
4.7 Set Network SDK
If you want to log in to the device via client, set network SDK.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → Network → Network SDK .
2. Tap Registraon to enable the funcon.
3. Set Communicaon Port.
What to do next
Reboot the device to take the sengs into eect.
4.8 Set Ping Test
You can check the plaorm network is normal or not via ping test.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → Network → Ping Test .
2. Enter target host address (IP address or domain name).
3. Tap START.
4. Check Enable Info. Auto Scrolling. The informaon will scroll to display automacally.

Chapter 5 System Sengs
5.1 Set Posioning
You can set posioning to locate the posion of the device.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → Network → Posioning Service .
2. Enable Posioning Service.
3. Select Mode.
Note
If you switch the posioning mode, it will take eect aer reboong posioning service.
4. Oponal: Tap Sengs → System → GPS Overlay to enable GPS overlay.
Result
The posioning informaon will be overlaid on the live view image.
5.2 Enable Indicator
Enable indicator to indicate the device status.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → System → Indicator .
2. Select Enable.
Note
Refer to "Quick Start Guide" for the indicator status and colors.
5.3 Enable IR Light
You can enable IR light to supplement light for record at night or in dim environment.
Steps
1. Tap Sengs → System → IR Switch .
2. Select Disable, Enable, or Auto according to the actual needs.
