To protect data, the development of Hikvision devices incorporates privacy by design principles. For example, for device with facial recognion features, biometrics data is stored in your device with encrypon method; for fingerprint device, only fingerprint template will be saved, which is impossible to reconstruct a fingerprint image.As data controller, you are advised to collect, store, process and transfer data in accordance with the applicable data protecon laws and regulaons, including without limitaon, conducng security controls to safeguard personal data, such as, implemenng reasonable administrave and physical security controls, conduct periodic reviews and assessments of the effecveness of your security controls.Scan the QR code to get the user manual for detailed informaon.UD27101B2 Wiring (Normal) When connecng door contact and exit buon, the device and the RS-485 card reader should use the same common ground connecon.The Wiegand terminal here is a Wiegand input terminal. You should set the device’s Wiegand direcon to “input”. If you should connect to an access controller, you should set the Wiegand direcon to “Output”. If installing the device outdoors, you should apply Silicone sealant among the cable wiring area to keep the raindrop from entering.Before you start:According to the baseline on the mounng template, sck the mounng template on the wall or other surface, 1.4 meters higher than the ground.Make sure the output of external power supply fulfils LPS.Steps:Drill holes on the wall or other surface according to the mounng template and install the gang box.Use two supplied screws(4_KA4x22-SUS) to secure the mounng plate on the gang box.Use another four supplied screws to secure the mounng plate on the wall.Route the cables through the cable hole of the mounng plate, and connect to the corresponding external device’s cables.Apply Silicone sealant among the cable wiring area to keep the raindrop from entering.35Insert the fingerprint module to the holes at the boom of the main part.Align the device with the mounng plate and hang the terminal on the mounng plate.Make sure the two sheets on each side of the mount plate have been in the holes at the back of the device.Use two supplied screws (SC-M4x12TP10-SUS) to secure the device and the mounng plate.Aer installaon, for the proper use of the device (outdoor use), sck the protecon film (parts of modelssupplied) on the screen.The installaon height here is the recommended height. You can change it according to your actual needs.You can also install the device on the wall or other places without the gang box. In case of any failure occurred, you need to return the device to the factory with the original wrapper. Dispose of used baeries according to the instrucons provided by the baery manufacturer.Biometric recognion products are not 100% applicable to an-spoofing environments. If you require a higher security level, use mulple authencaon modes.Please make sure that the biometric recognion accuracy will be affected by the collected pictures' quality and the light in the environment, which cannot be 100% correct.Power on and wire the network cable aer installaon. You should acvate the device before the first login.If the device is not acvated yet, it will enter the Acvate Device page aer powering on.Step:1. Create a password and confirm the password.2. Tap Acvate to acvate the device.STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED-We highly recommend you create a strong password of your own choosing(using a minimum of 8 characters, including upper case leers, lower case leers, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, reseng the password monthly or weekly can beer protect your product.3 Quick Operation2.2 Device Wiring (With Secure Door Control Unit The secure door control unit should connect to an external power supply separately. The suggested external power supply is 12 V, 0.5 A.For scenarios with high safety requirement, use the secure door control unit wiring first.
