Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the product
for the first time. The instructions herein must be followed each time the
product is used.
Please note especially the maintenance instructions regarding the prod-
uct’s wooden details and how to operate the stove.
Hikki will not be liable for any product or personal damages arising
from the buyer’s or any other person’s use of the product for other pur-
poses than the expected or failure to follow the instructions relating to
the product’s use.
The product must not be left unattended when used. Make sure that any
fire used with the product is put out properly before the product is left
unattended after use.
Children must not be left unattended in or near the product during use.
Remember that the product is a potential drowning hazard when filled
with water. Hence all water should be emptied from the product before
it is left unattended after use.

Place the hot tub on flat, solid ground. Bohemen will become quite
heavy when it is filled with water and those bathing. The ground
must not collapse under the hot tub’s feet.

Make sure that the water flows towards the drain. It might help to
use a spirit level.

3. The stove fits easily into the tub. When you need to empty the stove
of ashes, lift it out of the hot tub first.
Kaminen är lätt att placera i karet. När du ska tömma kaminen på

Gently push the stove’s feet into the rails at the bottom of the tub.

5. Tie the stove into place with the string. This is especially important
when children will be using the hot tub.

Slide the burn plate down into the stove. It helps to bring air to the
base of the stove.

7. Place the lid in this position to give the stove maximum air flow,
when you want to light the fire or increase the size of the fire. Note:
Do not light a fire in the stove until the tub is filled with water

Place the lid in this position to close the air supply and choke the
fire. Remember, do not light a fire in the stove until the tub is filled
with water.

9. Place the first backrest against Bohemen’s slanted front end.
Placera första ryggstödet mot karets sluttande front.

Fit the backrest under the fitting.
Passa in ryggstödet under beslaget.
11. Slide the floor boards into place under the backrest.
Skjut in bottentrallen under ryggstödet.

The protruding joists of the duckboard fit between the bolt brackets
at the bottom of the tub.
De utstickande reglarna passar mellan bultfästena i karets botten.
13. Mount the second backrest against the stove.

Use stainless steel bolts or aluminum carabiners to fasten the back-
rest to the bolt brackets.

15. The support rod is the heart of the Bohemen hot tub. Slide it in
through the rope loops.
Stödpinnen är Bohemens hjärta. Skjut in den genom repöglorna.

Make sure the support rod reaches all the way through to the op-
posite side and rests in a secure position.

17. Mount the shortest piece of the chimney pipe on the stove spigot
with the flange upward.

Slip the touch guard over the pipe.

19. Fit the chimney cap into the top of the longest pipe.

Place the long pipe on top of the short pipe.

21. Secure the touch guard at an appropriate level, so that nobody
can accidentally touch the hot chimney.

Before you make a fire in the stove, you must ensure that the water
reaches at least 2 inches (5 cm) above the stove’s circulation pipes.
The stove is made of aluminum, and may be damaged if not cooled
by the water.
Innan du eldar i kaminen måste du se till att vattnet når minst 5 cm
ovanför kaminens cirkulationsrör. Kaminen är av aluminium och kan

23. Set fire to a piece of birch bark or a firestarter. Note: Do not use lighter
fluid. Place the birch bark or firestarter in the stove, as close to the
cirkulation pipes as possible. When the flame is drawn into the flue,
you can start building the fire.

Placera nävern / tändblocket inuti kaminen, så nära cirkulations-

Use small strips of wood at first, and put in logs after a while. When
the fire has gained strength, you can start filling the stove with wood.
Make sure you have a good fire going. When the water has reached
a comfortable temperature, you can reduce the air flow to the stove.
Använd först små vedstickor, och större vedträn efter ett tag. När
elden tagit fart kan du fylla hela kaminen med ved. Se till att skapa
en rejäl eldhärd. När vattnet nått en bra temperatur kan du strypa
draget i kaminen med hjälp av locket.
25. Tip: if you lay a couple of sleeping pads on top of the water you
reduce the heating time.
Tips: om du lägger liggunderlag på vattenytan förkortar du upp-
värmningstiden.

After you are finished bathing, let the fire die out completely. Only
then can you unscrew the left drain pipe plug to empty the tub of
water.
När du har badat färdigt, låt elden och glödhärden slockna helt.
Sedan tömmer du karet genom att skruva av tapprörets vänstra
plugg.

kallas i regel dyvika eller båtplugg. Innermåttet på tapphålet är
24mm.
Should you loose the plug that comes with the tub, there’s more to
get from your department store. They are often called boat plug.
The inner dimension in the tubs spigot is 24mm.

29. You could also connect a hose directly to the spigot of the tub...
Tip: if the hose is too tight to attach to the spigot, heat it with heat
gun to soften the rubber, making it easier to attach.
Du kan montera en slang direkt på karets tapphål med en slang-
klämma. Tappen på badkaret har en yttre diameter på 30mm.
Tips: om slangen är svår att få på kan du värma den med en
varmluftspistol.
30. ...and put a ball valve - thread size ISO G20 (3/4”) - in the drain
pipe, as a connection between two hoses, for convenient drain-
ing. The valve and connections depicted here does not come with
the tub, but are easily found in your local department store.
Sedan monterar du dit lämpliga kopplingar. Tappkranen är en
3/4” (R20) kulventil. Finns att köpa i din närmsta VVS-butik.

If you would like to use the same water for a couple of days, then
you can filter the water with a filter pump. Tip: the heating time
is reduced when using a pump to circulate the water. Do not use
chlorine as a germicide, since it may stain the tub.
Om du vill använda samma vatten ett par dagar kan du filtrera
det med en filterpump. Tips: Uppvärmningstiden förkortas när man
cirkulerar vattnet med pumpen. Obs: använd ej klor som bakterie-
dödande medel, då det kan missfärga karet.
