Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in

1. Use only the specified battery.

has been disassembled and the cell or other internal

6. Do not let any foreign objects or water get inside the
radio body.
• If any metal or flammable object or water gets inside the
radio body, it may lead to electric shock or fire.
7. Do not place the radio on an unstable surface or in a
high place.
• The radio may fall and cause injury or malfunction.
8. Do not leave the radio where it will be exposed to
high temperature (50°C or over) such as inside a sun-
heated vehicle.
• Doing so may result in malfunction.
9. Fold away the antenna when carrying the radio.
Tighten the screw at the mounting part when it has
come loose.
• Failure to do so may result in injury.
10. Carry the radio carefully and do not wave it around.
• The battery may fall out, causing damage or injury.
11. Do not look directly into the LED light when it is on.
• Doing so may damage your eyes.
12. Keep the radio away from gasoline or thinner.
• Such substances may cause deformation or melt the
plastic components.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1. Insert the battery (Fig. 2)
Insert the battery in the direction of the arrow until it clicks.
To remove the battery, press the latch and remove the
battery.
2. Turn on the power (Fig. 3)
Rotate the power/volume dial clockwise to turn on the
power.
3. Select the mode (Fig. 4)
Slide the AM/FM selector lever to select AM or FM mode.
4. Select a station (Fig. 5)
Rotate the tuning dial to select the desired station.
● For Better Reception
FM (Fig. 6)
Adjust the length, direction and angle of the antenna to ensure
the best reception.
AM (Fig. 7)
The radio has a built-in antenna. Turn the radio around to find
the direction with the best reception.
Location
○ Reception may be poor when the radio is used inside a
building or vehicle.
Place the radio near the window to ensure better reception.
○ Noise may occur if the radio is placed near a device that
generates noise.
Move the radio away from the source of the noise.
○ Noise may occur if a mobile phone is placed near the radio.
A mobile phone emits radio waves both during calls and in
standby mode.
If possible, keep mobile phones away from the radio.
TURNING ON THE LED LIGHT
○ The LED light turns on and offeach time the light switch is
pressed.
○ The LED light can be turned on while listening to the radio.
NOTE
If the lens is dirty, wipe it gently with a soft cloth.
IF THERE ARE SMOKE OR ODORS
WARNING
If the radio emits smoke or an abnormal smell, rotate the
power/volume dial to OFF and remove the battery.
Continued use of the radio may result in fire or electric
shock.
Contact the shop where the radio was purchased.

MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
WARNING
When not in use or during inspection and maintenance, be
sure to remove the battery.
● Cleaning on the outside
When the radio is stained, wipe with a soft dry cloth or a
cloth moistened with soapy water.
Do not use solvents containing chlorine, gasoline or paint
thinner as they may melt plastic.
● Storing the Radio
• After use, turn offthe power and store the radio.
• If the radio will not be used for a long period, remove the
battery.
• Do not store the radio in the following places.
○ Within reach of or easily accessible to children
○ In humid or dusty places
○ In high temperature such as inside a car or exposed
to direct sunlight
○ Where the temperature changes drastically
○ Where it is exposed to smoke or steam such as near
a cooking appliance or humidifier
NOTE
Make sure that the battery is fully charged when stored for
a long period (3 months or more). The battery with smaller
capacity may not be able to be charged when used, if stored
for a long period.
● Service parts list
CAUTION
Repair, modification and inspection of HiKOKI Power Tools
must be carried out by a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
This Parts List will be helpful if presented with the tool to the
HiKOKI Authorized Service Center when requesting repair
or other maintenance.
In the operation and maintenance of power tools, the safety
regulations and standards prescribed in each country must
be observed.
MODIFICATIONS
HiKOKI Power Tools are constantly being improved
and modified to incorporate the latest technological
advancements.
Accordingly, some parts may be changed without prior
notice.

1. 安裝電池（圖2）
依箭頭方向插入電池，直至其卡入到位。

位置

能較差。

若發生煙霧或異味

라디오 청취
1. 배터리 삽입(그림 2)
딸깍 소리가 날 때까지 화살표 방향으로
배터리를 끼웁니다.
배터리를 제거하려면 래치를 누르고 배터리를
제거합니다.
2. 전원 켜기(그림 3)
전원/볼륨 다이얼을 시계 방향으로 돌려 전원을
켭니다.
3. 모드 선택(그림 4)
AM/FM 선택기 레버를 밀어 AM 또는 FM
모드를 선택합니다.
4. 방송국 선택(그림 5)
튜닝 다이얼을 돌려 원하는 방송국을 선택합니다.
● 수신 감도 개선 방법
FM(그림 6)
안테나의 길이, 방향 및 각도를 조절해 최적의 수신
조건을 찾습니다.
AM(그림 7)
라디오에 안테나가 내장되어 있습니다. 라디오를
돌려 최적의 수신 방향을 찾습니다.
위치
○ 건물이나 차량 안에서 라디오를 사용할 경우
수신 감도가 떨어질 수 있습니다.
수신 감도를 높이려면 라디오를 창가에
두십시오.
○ 노이즈를 유발하는 장치 근처에 라디오를 둘
경우 노이즈가 생길 수 있습니다.
노이즈 소스에서 멀리 떨어진 곳으로 라디오를
옮기십시오.
○ 라디오 근처에 휴대폰을 둘 경우 노이즈가
발생할 수 있습니다.
휴대폰은 통화 도중, 그리고 대기 모드에서 무선
전파를 발생시킵니다.

LED 조명 켜기
○ 조명 스위치를 누를 때마다 LED 조명이

제거하십시오.

● 라디오 보관
• 사용 후에는 전원을 끄고 라디오를
보관하십시오.
• 라디오를 장기간 사용하지 않을 경우
배터리를 제거하십시오.

○ 어린이가 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 범위 내
○ 습하거나 먼지가 많은 장소
○ 차량 내부와 같은 온도가 높은 장소 또는
직사광선에 노출된 장소
○ 온도가 급격하게 변화하는 장소
○ 조리 기구 또는 가습기 근처 등 연기나

참고:
장기간 (3개월 이상) 보관한 경우 배터리가
완전히 충전되는지 확인하십시오. 더 적은
용량의 배터리는 장기간 보관된 경우 사용 시
충전되지 못할 수 있습니다.
